As I mentioned last post, today is a day I have waited so long and so eagerly for. We ‘re now talking advance orders for Risky Is the New Safe. Now let me tell you why you should read the book, and what it can do for you.
First, let’s get a few things out of the way…
Yes the book will be controversial to some, because they don't like to talk about things they don't like. They believe if they pretend these things don't exist, they’ll simply go away. They don’t. Sometimes they need to be brought into the light. So I do that in the book.
Yes it’s true, in the book I predict governments going bankrupt, millions of jobs impacted, millions more jobs eliminated by technology, and the collapse of the euro. But it’s certainly not a gloom and doom book. In fact, the whole point of the book, and this post today is simply this…
Opportunity is lurking.
Everywhere. And opportunity doesn't usually come around when things are working the way everyone wants them to work. Opportunity comes around when things AREN’T going the way everyone wants them to!
Opportunity comes from challenge. Opportunity comes from adversity. Opportunity comes from chaos.
And the more daunting your life is right now, the more challenges you are facing, the more obstacles standing in front of you – the greater your opportunity to do something epic!
No, it’s not always easy. Usually isn’t. But it usually isn’t as hard as most people think. Success is a mindset. Prosperity is a mindset. As you’ll see in the book, people like Mark Cuban, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg simply view the world with a different mindset than most. As did Ford, Firestone, Carnegie, Woolworth, Edison, and all the people profiled in Think and Grow Rich. And as Cuban says, it doesn't matter how many times you fail, you only have to be right once! So it is this question of mindset that really is the essence of what my new book is about…

I know I could have never know a right prophet in my life. Risky is the new safe is your book I want to own and put next to Plato's republic and Napoleon Hill Think and Grow Rich. I have never understood poverty, but I have lived 28 years of my life among people who believe deprivation is the fate of man. It's amazing how mental conditionning can shape a man's life and how easy it is to change one's life by changing one's viewpoint.

This is so true - the old order of How Things Are, especially economically, is in chaos. I believe that those of us in network marketing are part of the new order - the wave of the future. And this business is so easy, I love that! The old means of success entailed a lot of hard work, sacrifice, pain & suffering; the new order is different, thank goodness! Fun work instead of hard work, blessings instead of sacrifices, joy and happiness and loving peace instead of pain & suffering. That's risky...
