“Friday Filosophy” 4/29/2022 (Gaining Wisdom)

Happy Freakin’ Friday!

It’s time again for my weekly missive to you with the subject that I’m thinking about – and believe you might want to think about as well.  Today I’m writing from Mexico City, where I’ve been all week conducting Leadership Retreats.  What I’m thinking about right now is wisdom.

Or more specifically, getting wiser.  This is one of those areas where modest actions can produce exponential benefits.  The blinding flash of the obvious in this case is that you become wise by doing at least one thing every day that makes you wiser.

Sounds simple enough right?  But how many people actually do something every day, so they are a little wiser by the end of it?  Life is too short and too complex to stay in neutral.  To develop consciousness and reach enlightenment, we must nurture wisdom.  And that means making sure we learn, each and every day.  So how are you doing on that?
