The Thin Air Millionaire

I'm back down in Bogota, Colombia again where there's a little winter in the air. And I'm having a hard time breathing in the altitude. But it's always wonderful to be here again. Worked out this morning in the gym at the hotel, which is in a glass enclosure on the roof, with a breath-taking view of the city.

Because there aren't any hotels with big enough conference rooms, the promoters booked my event last night in a theater. And pretty much everything that could go wrong went wrong. Bad microphones, dim lighting in the auditorium, AV crew from Hell, and then we blew a circuit while I was speaking, which blacked out the entire stage for a few minutes.

Yet it still was magical. When it all was over, I waited for the crush to depart, then went out and mingled with the faithful still hanging around. Like people in so many places, Colombians aren't afraid of hard work. They have a dream for a better life, and they're willing to do what's necessary to get it.

They came from Cali, Medellin and all over, to learn how they could manifest prosperity in the new economy. I'm always touched and honored by the faith and trust people place in me. And it's always so rewarding to meet the people you touch, and see the passion in their eyes.

The media can't seem to spread enough hysterical news, and I personally do believe that the worst of the economic meltdown is still to be seen. But of course that really is meaningless for those of us living by the laws of prosperity.
