Who Decides?

Posted By: Randy GageJune 24, 2012

Let’s forget about labels for a minute.  Whether you call it God, a certain name for God or universal order, isn’t important to this discussion.  Here’s what it:  Whatever label you use, I can guarantee you this…

God doesn’t play favorites.

Your Creator doesn't say, “Well Mary has been good this year, I’ll give her a Bentley.  Jimmy I’m not so sure about, he gets a Honda.”

So who decides whether you get the Bentley or the Honda?  (And of course I'm using cars as a metaphor here.  We're really talking about all aspects of prosperity.)   Well that’s easy:  You do!

  1. Time and Chance happens to all, BUT, if one works within cycles be it business, stock market etc, and then applies the power of focus, drive and determination, then ones life would be better, more easier, and probably therefore more enjoyable.  What do you think Randy?

  3. Spot on Randy,I always used to drive the beat up old Honda - and I was proud of it...I learned...Now I am driving my beautiful convertible EOS, and living in a luxury apartment overlooking the Pacific from the opposite side to most of your readers.  (But you are used to Sydney, Randy...) Do I want a Bentley?  No - too much emission, too much care needed, and I could buy an investment apartment for the same price.  I chose the thing which would be productive, rather than destructive - but I see your point.I now know that anyone can decide their own fate within their world.  If they are in the wrong part of the world, and work hard enough and smart enough, they can move to a better part of the world, and make their own choices in their new world.I choose a better world for myself, my friends and family, and for all...Trevor

  5. Actually I was thinking more along the lines of a Bugatti Veyron or Lamborghini myself 🙂 It's about the Infinite Abundance which really has no limits. Intending it.. choosing it.. embracing it.. and always, always, always being grateful the Universe has created the unlimited flow. The Universe never ceases to amaze just how infinite Abundance really is.. So it's a matter of letting go of the lack thinking and embracing what is TRULY possible NOW.        BOOM!

  7. The hardest was that I myself stand in your way, because I want to. Because my parents had a "hard" life, I made it also difficult. Why? I thought that God does not like me and that I don´t deserve, what I want. But what if it was all a lie? What if I was living someone else's life? My parents and peoples around, just not really my own ... When I found out I could decide ... With what am I in harmony?

  9. The vision process is always self-examination. It’s never, “God, I want this. Make this happen.” It’s always, “What do I have to become to live the vision, to manifest it, to reveal it?” The visioning process, then, is a process of transformation of the individual. —Reverend Michael Beckwith

    1. Your current vision is what you have created... even if you say it is not what you want...for example unhappy relationships, debt, unhealthy, overweight, sad, unfulfilled job, etc... they are your unconscious thoughts & beliefs... usually learned as a child... and you keep repeating the past even though you say it is not what you want... change it to positive ( not negative with "not", complaining, blaming, shaming, criticism., etc... you just create more of what you  "don't" want.)
Change your vision, change your self talk, affirm the positive, make choices in alignment with who you want to be..with your dreams  (if you want to lose weight... eating cookies, ice cream pizza, etc aren't choices in alignment with your vision)... keep repeating it.

It is also possible to meet our needs in negative ways.... so if you are stuck... ask yourself how being stuck ... poor, broke, sick, overweight,  unhappy, etc is meeting your needs.

6 Human needs we all have:
      Love & connection
      certainty
      variety
      significance
      growth
      contribution

for example, someone can meet their needs with depression & anger (to get attention... which is how they feel loved, security- they know it works, etc.)

It also matters if you value certain needs over others... if you place certainty before love, you block love until your certainty need is met... instead of having love while improving certainty.

so a "bad" vision may meet your needs in negative ways.

  10. Well, that's not what the preachers want their flock to think though. They prefer them think that if they're in God's good graces (translated to shout the loudest about how much you love Jesus or some other man turned deity) then you will likely become a favorite of God. If not in this lifetime, then definitely when you die.

When people are raised programmed with this stuff, you can see why we want to blame God for everything. Including Katrina.

  12. I believe there's divine. However, I believe it's an observer. It may intervene in our life sometimes. But rewarding us with material gains is not what he does.

I had an major car accident where the car that Im in went over the hill, rolled down the ravine. The car was wreck, but all three of us in the car didn't suffer any injuries. If this is not divine intervention, I don't know what is.

And my realization is that if God didn't took me away that day, it means I have yet fulfill my bigger purpose. Which is why I'm doing what I;m doing now!
