Uncovering the Negative, Limiting Beliefs You Have

Posted By: Randy GageAugust 28, 2018

In the last post I demonstrated how a limiting belief you learn when you are six or eight years old, can still be causing you to self-sabotage at 40 or 50 years old.

This shocks many people because they can’t even imagine that they have this subconscious programming.  All they realize is that on the conscious level – they want to be healthy, happy and prosperous.  And they have no idea that the foundational beliefs they have on the subconscious level, are undermining everything they’re trying to do on the conscious level.

So the critical action to take first is to uncover any limiting beliefs you may have.  Let me give you the three most common and dangerous ones:

Money is Bad/Rich People are Evil

Think back to your childhood.  How did your parents talk about wealthy relatives or other rich people?  What were your favorite TV shows, books and movies?  How were wealthy people portrayed in them?  (Really think about how rich people are depicted in pop culture, in every generation. The Beverly Hillbillies to Dallas, Dynasty to Succession.)

It’s Inherently Noble or Spiritual to Be Poor

Look for your exposure to organized religion first here.  Were you taught that you were born a sorry sinner?  Did your church, mosque or temple teach that your real reward only comes in the afterlife?  If you think you’re paying penance in this lifetime for being a camel thief twelve lifetimes ago, what are the odds you’ll allow yourself to be happy now?

You’re Not Worthy of Prosperity

See organized religion above.  Did a family member, teacher, coach, or other authority figure demean your talents and abilities at a young age?  Did someone tell you that you were no good and you bought the story?  Were you always compared to an older sibling and told you didn’t measure up?  Were you an incest victim or otherwise abused?  Are you a non-heterosexual and were programmed to believe this means something is wrong or broken about you?

If you have any of these three beliefs (and millions of people have all three), you most certainly are subconsciously holding back your health, success and prosperity.

You have to blow up those beliefs and replace them with ones that empower you.  Which is where we’ll pick up tomorrow.  Until then, let us know what you think below.

  1. One of the strongest influence is the religion. It is almost like a poor-abomb to your soul. They say that Jesus said it is good to be poor. Fortunately, the "last dinner" picture is all about prosperity. They say you have to suffer in this lifetime in order to elevate to haven. The good thing is: "they say". And the evidence is just piece of papers. Nothing really much at all.

One of my program is that I can't finish anything completely. That's happened, when my grandparents asked something to do from me, and if I had done quick, they said I am not finished. Because they wanted me to do things for long time. This happened continuously. So in my adulthood, I always felt that I can not finish anything. Things happened to hold me back. It took a while to realize it.

There is an other program for if I have something expensive, I feel guilty for people who don't have at least the same thing or better. This one is probably because when I got something as a gift in my childhood, other children was distressed about it, because they can't have the same thing. But I can't point a finger where exactly was that back in time.

But anyway, we may not be rich, but at least we’re poor.

    1. Religion is a bane on society. It was created to keep the masses under control and to keep women in a subservient position. You need too look no further than the Catholic Church to see the toxic effects religion has on its followers and society in general. Unfortunately, most people are like sheep - they do not question, they just obey. The human need to belong to a group/organization is so strong that it overpowers our critical thinking and common sense. Once we stop questioning ignorant, antiquated ideas, we are in real trouble as a society.

      1. So much of what people believe comes from some outward comment, experience or their environment. I think most of us know what our limiting beliefs are at a conscious level. If you don't think you do, then listen to what comes out of your mouth when you are reacting or responding to anything. Most of us, including me, in the past, think from a mindset of lack and loss. If someone else has it, then I don't get to have it. It's this mindset of scarcity or at it's core level, FEAR, that directs our lives in the direction of our thoughts and words. Everything starts in our head first. It's that knawing thought that can't wait to express itself at the opportune time in our words and actions. Until and unless we change our perceptions of how we see everything and everyone, we will invariably continue to create the same outcome we are now experiencing in life. Whether you want to believe it or not, your life is a creation of your thoughts, good or bad. The universe has no lack. It does not play favorites. We all experience gravity the same way, unless you are superman, like RG, and you can leap tall buildings. All kidding aside, we live in a world of polarity. Light, dark. Up, down. Good, Evil. The supernatural world does not live by these rules. It does not know polarity because it can't.

The only way that you are ever going to prosper and manifest true abundance, and I'm not just talking about money here, is to realize that whatever you give, the universe will give back to you. If you are just trying to manifest a car or a house or a mate, or anything for that matter, you can do it with intentional focused thought, but you can be assured that anything manifested in this way, will decay. Spiritual abundance, or as I like to call it, the fruits of the spirit, are gifts. They can't be earned. They are free and anything that is free if a gift. There is so much to say about all of this and I'm sure if you continue to follow Randy Gage, you will learn a lot more about it, but not to leave you high and dry after all this long windedness, I would start by guarding your mouth. Only speak words that build you and others up. If it's not coming from a place of love, then abundance won't exist. Your gratitude will create your latitude and you will ultimately make a living by your giving.

Very accurate, but I want to mention that "learned balance" and neutralism is lies. Like, when you say, there is no good and bad, just things happening. It is a false subjectivity. There are good and bad things, regardless how we see. I think one of the main thing that must be learn is that evil IS exist, and good too. Just not how the idiot religions try to portrait. There is no other way to explain how that fucking poverty consciousness is flooded the world like the pest. It's not a coincidence, not, not at all.

  2. It is completely true Randy. And the only way to fight back that sabotage is to change the brainwash of fear to a prosperous brainwash. How? Listening to you! And how I learn this? Listening to you. Thank you, thank you!
And I want to share the little story of the bamboo. After seeds are planted, nothing happens for 5 years, not even a little green grub. If you do not know you would think seeds are useless or the terrain is not good. But on the 5 th year a plant start to grow and emerge with an incredible speed and in 6 weeks is a very big and tall plant. Did it take 6 weeks to grow? No. It took 5 yrs and 6 weeks.
    Thank you Randy!

  3. Yes, I watched Beverly Hillbillies, Gilligan's Island & Mash a lot, as a kid. My folks "celebrated" the tv show Dallas - JR Ewing was "bad dude"..lol and The Dean Martin Show.. LOL / my mom left "crap novels" on the coffee table.. my lord. yepp, I read some of them.. I loved reading even as a kid.

.. have revealed and released many of those "memes" thank goodness.. currently having an issue with organized religion - a non-denomenational church, so I thought, that I really liked.. then found out it's a denomenational church last sunday.... didn't like that at all..

  4. I've trained my mind to accurately see memes at work in other peoples lives too.. it's painful to easily see "the remedy" to prosperity blocks in people I'm friends with, and that I KNOW they are living way under their potential.. and have expressed it..

They take it personal, and it's not meant that way.. the "objective prosperity solution will appear, I believe. I can "see" what they can't since they're so very identified with the habits. Lord!

  5. It is funny how we are influenced at a young age. I still have old thoughts that I haven’t been able to change, but now I know I have them.
