The other day I was traveling in the astral plane, in the cosmic soup of the space and time continuum, floating in the space between thoughts, when I ran into Epictetus.
Epictetus had just had luck with Mahavatar Babaji, the deathless avatar, and Gautama Buddha. They had been discussing yesterday’s post, about looking in the mirror. And Epictetus said something I’ll never forget. He told me…
“Circumstances don’t make the man; they only reveal him to himself.”
And of course, that’s where we look, when we want to reverse a negative path, and begin to move towards harmony, prosperity, and success. Because the true measure of who you are and who you can become – cannot be found in your circumstances– but how you mindfully choose to respond to them.
To reinforce the message from yesterday, the formula is simple: To start a new process, you have to be willing to stop the last one. In this case, you have to stop blaming others, and start taking responsibility for your own choices.
Because that’s where the breakthroughs live…
Now if you were just about to say, “But wait, in my case…” stop right there. Because you were just about to bring up one of those old, limiting beliefs. And that isn’t going to allow you to go where you really want to go.

I read an article about toxic work places.. which could just be toxic places.. or toxic beliefs.
I think some people hate the Universe/God/Spirit. They have written hate into beliefs. They have written in enemies and racism. They have written in inequality. You ate still victims if you are following them.
