Transformation is Usually Either/Or

Posted By: Randy GageSeptember 10, 2018

I hate getting up at 4:30 to do cardio because I have an early flight.  But I hate being out of shape even worse, so I do it.  And so much about prosperity and success works in equations like that.

Transformation is a continuous incremental process.  Most of what you do for daily habits doesn’t keep you in a static location.  Usually you’re moving closer to your goals, or further away from them.  So it comes down to whether you’re willing to pay the price for what you desire.

You either hate change enough to stay mediocre, or you hate being mediocre enough to change.

How you doing on that?

  1. You are exactly correct - you have to hate, and get sick and tired of something before you will change it. No one ever changes anything when they are comfortable.

      1. Agree Jane. Mind you, have always felt "hate" is an overused word. Whilst the majority of people do something to "get away from a pain", there are a few who do something to "make a gain".

      2. I chose change when feeling comfortable as well. In fact it's "the reason" to choose change I believe. We grow in one of two ways; as a victim - when "pain" hits, or as a victor - by insight - and in charge of our prosperity, I believe. Insight courtesy of another mentor in the mind/body/spirit connection space..
