The Prosperity Power of Ideas

Posted By: Randy GageJune 25, 2010

So in our last post I said that when you manifest prosperity, you are doing no more than demonstrating the expression of your Spiritual consciousness – your true nature – which is the expression of Infinite Power AS you.

This Power within you is responsive to your needs.  Once you learn how to tap into this power, you can manifest all the prosperity that is yours, because you actually are this Power in expression.   And I said that you do this through the power of IDEAS.

I believe no one has a money problem.  They simply have an idea problem.   Now this may sound cold or clinical, but I don’t mean it that way.  I simply mean everyone has the ability to manifest prosperity.

We know that prosperity comes from creating value.  True prosperity is always a vale-for-value exchange.  So when you’re experiencing lack in any area, the first thing to do is to think about how you can create value.   Find the right idea and you find the solution to your lack.

So do you agree with this?  Or do you believe you have a special circumstance that prevents you from putting this into action?  Please share your thoughts below, and next post I’ll give you an example of this in practical application.

We are making our way to Malaga, where the cruise will end.  I’ll fly back to Miami this weekend and check in on the other side.

  1. Tough one... Yes, I have been asking this for quite awhile. I can't say that I've come up with any resolution. I understand the concept of giving value. I've changed quite a few relationships over the years because I was giving yet not receiving. At closer look, I realized I was downplaying the value of the service I was giving. So that's solved on one side of the equation. However, as an artist, I can (and do) talk about my paintings with a passion, yet they have found "value" to only a few people. Those people are loyal, but they don't support my service. As far as ideas, I've posted my paintings on as many free art sites as there are, have a mailing list, have an email list, etc. But when does the full time job end (which pays my bills) and the passion begin?

    1. I am responding to Cherie. I don't think that's what Randy meant by value. Your paintings have tremendous value to you. But in the marketplace, there apparently is a monetary value for different styles of paintings. I was in advertising. And I always remember the distinction that I was taught between graphic art and fine art. Graphic art exists to solve a problem. There are limitations to time, space, money, etc. Fine art exists to please the creator. The only person who must be satisfied with your art is you. Now, others may ALSO value it. But the question is...are you creating the art for yourself or for others. If the value is for others...then it would require learning what styles they want to pay for. If the value is primarily to you...then make that distinction between what you do for yourself and what you do for others. Just my opinion.

  2. Yes Randy the idea is first in our minds and if we let that idea grow,it becames a strong feeling and if we support that happiness ..then..then.. the miracle is here!!!

  3. I don't read every single post so I am not sure if you address environment in when you talk about ideas translating to prosperity. Having the right idea in the wrong country, no matter how valuable in theory, will not lead to prosperity for its citizens.

  4. I was the agnostic who posted a few posts ago... great to see such a lively, intelligent debate...
and I appreciated your advice Randy.. went back and read it several times... makes sense to me...
But one thing about all this just didn't happen out of nowhere thesis... I remember in my university days had a great history prof who explained agnosticism as when morons who were praying in churches during earthquakes and it fell in on them, there was a guy who said, well the universe didn't just happen, but as far as praying and all that hooey, forget it... so I could identify with that, the joke being agnostics are guys who are too scared to be atheists...
And then I read the God Delusion by Richard Dawkins and he takes on all the arguments for a God in every way and demolishes them in a calm rational matter... I mean there's a boatload of scientific evidence that we crawled out of the muck and slowly evolved... but there's not one iota of evidence that God exists or anything in the Bible happened... not that I don't love the Bible... I do... as literature... and for its right spirituality message.. like the story of Job.. etc.. but not as fact....
In closing I'll leave a quote that hit me like a ton of bricks when I first read it... if God did not exist, man would have to invent him... which is exactly what we did...

  5. Randy, I've recently been listening to some of your earlier cd's, and loving the clarity, certainty and simple logic of your work. I am in accord with this post - it's the idea of value to others that creates physical prosperity, and it's the idea about our own value that creates mental and emotional prosperity. Sometimes it's the idea about our own lack of value that stops us from putting our creative idea of value to others, into effect - it's hard to take action on a great idea when you think you're worthless - so we ignore the Lore of Lag - that action has to follow thinking and feeling in order to bring the idea to fruit.
    Love from NSAA.

  6. I've been working with the "Force" (like to call it that way) for the past 6 years. Haven't perfected it but I can see that there is something out there. It feeds me. Then I found this note on a book that perfectly help me get back on track, so I read it often.
"Today I had a conversation with my true self. She asked me why I had abandoned her, why I had ignored all her constant advice. And then she reminded me of all the things I had forgotten. And never once did she say: "I told you so".
So, I work with the Force more often. When I truely ask, I receive. And I do believe that instant manifestation doesn't exist. What you ask (think), needs to be planned (do), so it can be achieved (be). And like any other thing we work with, practice makes perfect.

  7. Thanks for another great post Randy. Right on Catherine, I totally agree with you. Looking forward to the next post. I hope you had a relaxing holiday!
    Love from the Midwest.

  8. "Find the right idea and you find the solution to your lack."

...or is it finding out the idea(s) that cause your lack... and then replacing those lack causing ideas with prosperous ideas?

first admitting to ourselves that we have lack ideas (false beliefs, thoughts, values, etc) and then doing the work to change them...

I found Byron Katie's website (The book "The Passion Test" by Janet & Chris Atwood recommended it)

    This is Byron Katie's website:
    http://www.thework.com/thework.php

    She says:
"Who would you be without your story
The Work is a simple yet powerful process of inquiry that teaches you to identify and question the thoughts that cause all the suffering in the world. It’s a way to understand what’s hurting you, and to address the cause of your problems with clarity."

  9. I'm listening to the Abraham teachings by Esther and Jerry Hicks. What do you think about their message Randy? They seem to be saying that although action is important - it is much easier to get the results you want if you have right thought first and that everything is possible through thought.

I know there's lots of controversy about the law of attraction and lack of action etc. but I think what they're saying is that if you plug into law of attraction you will attract the right action (ie as in your post here - the right idea)

What do you think about that?

    1. Rachel

I read Abraham quotes almost daily and I think that they're delivering exactly the same message as what Randy does, albeit using different terminology. Personally I find the Abraham terminology speaks to me in a language that I understand better, but having said that, I now understand Randy better as a result of Abraham teachings.

      Carmen

      1. Hi Carmen

Thanks. I'm finding the audios very in depth and a lot to take in but absolutely fascinating. Similiar to Randy's but still a lot of new ideas I hadn't quite grasped before.

        It's all good!

  10. I read it somewhere- probably you!- that we all can tap into Divine MInd and thinking. That an idea can be reach by many people at the same time, however the person who works to make it "real" first will be the one who benefits. As Joe Vitale says "The Universe loves speed."

I know 2 unemployment men who have passion for their hobbies. One loves to fish, the other do farming type work. The fishing guy found it necessary to create a new bag to fish with!!! It takes him 10 hours to create 1 bag himself. Because he's so afraid someone will steal his idea, he would rather not move forward and profit from it. Crazy!

My farming friend sees a need to a new type of hitch for pulling stuff. He knows what it needs to do, but because of the lack programming he grew up with, he's convinced he isn't smart enough to develop the idea. He's 24 yr old and his parents still tell him he won't amount to anything. Very sad.

  11. I am thinking that there is abundance for everyone...it is infinite.

I am reading Ping Li's book "Awakening: Fulfilling your soul's purpose on earth" : for a free chapter: http://www.awakeningbooklaunch.com/optin.html

Ping Li says "It is possible for each of us to awaken to the truth of who we really are- the brilliant and infinite being within us- and know that we are here to fulfill the highest purpose that our soul intends for us on earth... It is living in the light of God. It is a path of aligning your life with the higher force of the universe...I have let go of my personal ego and limitations about my worthiness and who I am. I have released many of the illusions I had developed as a result of certain circumstances in my life. I have released all of my beliefs and emotions that were keeping me from moving forward and being the person I truly want to believe.

...Your life is unfolding perfectly, the way it was meant to be....The timing of positive changes in your life and your reality are limited or delayed only by your conscious or unconscious mind's expectations and belief's.

...Everything in life is a choice. You can choose to let the world control how you live, or you can live according to what's most important to you, your purpose and your heart's deepest desires. Happiness and a fulfilled life are choices.

...We are given the tools to manifest all our material needs, happiness and everything we wish for, through our thoughts and feelings. All we need to do is honor who we truly are, magnificent beings, and choose to let go of all thoughts, feelings, beliefs, perceptions, memories and experiences of the past that are not in alignment with this truth.

...choose to live the magnificent life that is intended for us now through our thoughts, beliefs and feelings of perfection, and see, feel imagine and think nothing but this truth in our reality.

...reconnect to the wisdom of god within us and awaken to our true purpose in life

...one popular notion is that we must earn what we want with force and hard work. But life is not about working harder and stronger. It is simply a natural process of uncovering who we really are within. Forcing or controlling will only interrupt the perfection of this process of awakening and enlightening.

...Your journey of higher consciousness and enlightenment will begin when you stop searching outside yourself for answers to true happiness in your life, slow down, let go and become quiet within."

  12. i'm certainly one who constantly has many ideas all the time.. sometimes i think that could be a downfall for me... having too many interests or ideas... where i get distracted - attempting to juggle too many balls... and the older i get (now 50+)... the odd ball is dropping...

sooo.. also know - that knowing where my "feeling-state" or what i'm resonating is also what i'm putting out there creating....

    thanks for this post...
