The Prosperity Power of Faith

Posted By: Randy GageMay 11, 2009

One of the parables is the Bible relates the story of the woman who was healed when she touched the cloak of Jesus.  He told her that her faith made her well.  Like most of the parables in the Bible, there is a good lesson for us all, regardless of your spiritual beliefs…

Faith is simply the expectation of good.  And we know that when we expect something, our subconscious and conscious minds have a way of making that happen.  Not just in health, but all areas of prosperity.

The core essence of faith is a positive vision.  So how is your faith?

  1. Properly "framing" the situation before others helps build their faith as well...

We were recently praying over a guy with an eye problem; to build his faith, we shared with the person a story of a recent healing that we saw with another person's eyes... Hence, his faith level was raised, and once prayed, he was instantly healed.

Jesus taught it is all by faith - healing, salvation, all...

  2. Faith and belief - are they the same thing, I suppose so. Certainly if you believe something will happen, it probably will unless there are thousands of people who believe it won't - then you've got a problem.

But on health issues we don't have that problem so if we believe we are well or getting better, we are. As long as we don't have that little voice in the background, our subconcious, saying 'you don't really believe it'.

I really think so much revolves around re-programming the subconcious - so what's the best way of doing that?

  3. Good post, Randy. Belief is a prerequisite for so many things- good and bad.

Chris, NLP is rich in tools for changing old beliefs and creating new ones you want. Each of us has our own internal formula for doubt and for belief. Once you know what that is, you can have more power to choose what to doubt and what to believe.

Robert Dilt's work is a good place to start for those who want to change beliefs or create more belief.

Faith, though, to me, is something different. It is, perhaps, a deeper core belief in the goodness of life, tapping into something real but that transcends thought. Getting one's beliefs in alignment with that, I think, bring us close to who we are.

  4. Randy,

Just this morning, I finished a post and I talked about faith. I have come to realize it is a key ingredient in making the Law of Attraction function correctly.

    from the post:

"For a lot of years, I have talked about and read about the Law of Attraction. And for a long time, it seemed on some level that it worked for everybody else , but not me. Two key ingredients - that I have learned recently are:

    * faith
    * healthy self esteem

I can tell you with absolute honesty and sincerity that the Law of Attraction does work and it's working for me."

Interesting how much I have been addressing issues of faith lately within myself.

I like what you write Randy and the way you say it.

  5. My Grandparents were faith missionaries and have inspired me to live in the same way. A good quote is "Dont try, just trust" Muriel Bowen 2008

  6. as Napolean Hill said.. "Faith is the starting point of ALL earned riches"

    My 2 fav "faith" quotes...

"To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible.”

“Fear can keep us up all night long, but faith makes one fine pillow.”

  7. Hi. welcome to hell or heaven , you choose, there are two doors in front of us every minute, same color, shape, frame, both exactly the same, which one to take?, well there is a small voice and there is our frequency tuner...what ever door we take it is perfect the rest is all mental masturbation....Now is eternity, the only moment...the only tangible frame ever...

  8. Hi all

We all have faith. There is no absence of faith. We either have faith in goodness or faith in 'badness'. We either believe good will happen to and around us or we believe the opposite. Whatever the case, we have faith. The question now is, what choices are we making regarding our faith.

  9. My faith is in the process of revaluation. Actually I have been pretty much fanatic about my faith. And I don't see any good outcome out of that now.

That's a very interesing matter about relations of the faith and prosperity. I think there are a lot things to explore.

Hope to see your thoughts about it, RG

    Thanks.

  10. what is my faith?? good question.. y beleived in spiritual life,i think i have it.. y ask to a spirtiual world many things daily y had a view of the thinks Iwant to hapen, y do things in order that make my desires hapen..y admire nature and y fell confident in my skills.. but not always.. is all that faith?

  11. My faith is hurting a little these days, as someone very important in my life is very sick, which is affecting my entire family.

However, and despite all the negativty of people around us, I still have faith in life and that everything is going to be ok.

    Keep it up Randy.

  12. How is my faith???

    Truthfully, not good.

One of the reasons I got out of the 'Witnesses' is because I had lost all faith in God, myself and the universe. How does one go about regaining faith once it has been lost? How does one have faith in something "not yet beheld" when you've never seen anything positive your entire life?

  13. I with all agree! I in a life had many cases, confirming this truth. When you very much want do not start up doubt, at all not knowing as will occur... But already ideas, feelings, emotions you possess it-all it TURNS out In the best possible way! THIS TREMENDOUS PLEASURE!
So there was on Agel World, I suddenly have understood and have very much wanted to go to Mexico to do business. I anybody there not to was- but had a desire!
In October I have the first distributor. Then I lived in Moscow. She has invited me to it to help. I have received the visa for one day!!! In November I was in Mexico. Subscribed new peoples- has developed quickly.
I return in Moscow across the month. Visas of childrens- for 1 day-29 of December (New year!) - It's now we in Mexico.
    Circumstances develop by itself.
And that-that fact did not know Spanish language, almost English. .The main -my distributors know thing both Russian and Spanish, and English.

( I uses translator, while, for contact, but in the next time-i know Spanish and English!!!)I believe in my Person!

  14. I was a sensitive child and I grew into a sensitive adult and have been hurt easily and badly many, many times. I had no faith and no one to believe in, until one day my teacher, who saw the qualities and potentials in me, said: If you wanna do good and big things and be successful in life, you must lead the way and that's why you'll often feel lonely but if you wanna avoid the trouble and tears, you must behave and live like the rest of the herd." I courageously chose my way, I gained strength and when I figured out it is coming from deep inside me, where I never dared to explore before, I found that divine me directly connected to the divine in other people and the Universum (or God, if you prefer) and won unshakeable faith. It's power is overwhelming, it still grows and I stand amazed...
    Love, Natasa

  15. To me:

Faith in God is a necessity.

Faith in achieving your vision is a separate category.

Faith in your vision is required for it to manifest.

    Keep the faith!

  16. hi mr.i want your help. please Explanat hattrick. what is hattrick? in Apercu and Beneficial and Echaustive Explanation. very very very thank you.bye mr
