The Law of Giving and Receiving

Posted By: Randy GageOctober 2, 2009

It took me a long time to learn it, but I have proven that you can’t out give the universe. I had spent so many years as a victim, I had a difficult time believing that if I gave something away, I would receive more back.  But that really is the case.    This is the result of the prosperity law of giving and receiving.

I created a short video explaining how you use this law to manifest prosperity.  Take a look.

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TuEbDCJ45sQ]

Here are a few of my favorite affirmations I use when I send things out to the universe:

I send forth this substance knowing that it will bless the giver and the receiver.

Divine love, through me, blesses and multiples, all that I am, all that I give, and all that I receive.

I honor all those I come in contact with today, and see the Divinity in all.

I know the Universe is good, and I send forth my own good to be multiplied.

If you would like to know more on this, be sure and check out my book, The 7 Spiritual Laws of Prosperity.

Give only good and you will get back only good.  This law works that way, all the time, with no exceptions.  Ain’t it great?

  1. Randy as always good stuff, is there a way we can share this on facebook when you post a new post for your blog?

  2. I give to receive.

Silver and gold have I none, but such as I have give I thee...

so knowledge and my tips are all I can repay with.

its a pittance but I understand the spiritual significance

and this makes me a believer

  3. I usually make a post on my Fan page when I do a new post. Not sure about FB if there is a way for you to share like there is on Twitter. Any of you techno geeks know?

Just watched some Earl Nightingale before reading your blog.
    Service = Rewards

It's about giving and service to others.

Your message is always on Point!!!

    How's the softball?

  5. Hit it on the head, I agree completely! I have clients that come and try and talk about these TV gossip shows and I tell them I have no idea what the show is about. Of course they are totally blown away that I have no clue what the show is because everyone watches it. We need to quit watching this crap and donate to our spiritual place instead, or spend time doing productive things!

Smile, it looks good on you!

  6. It really a great law because as long as in my life I believe what ever we give with honours we will get back maybe not in the same time but in one situation we never aspect.
May be from other who we never know.
Always give the best in our life in what ever we are doing and believe Allah will know the best for us. He will give what ever we wish.
Always positive and honour in our life.

  7. What's really cool, is that you ALWAYS have something to give- if not money, then time or at least purge something from your life or home you no longer use or like. Bless it, release it and allow something better to come to you.

Randy I have to thank you for tealling me about Catherine Ponder. What a blessing both you and she are.

  8. I first heard this principle discussed when I read "The Greatest Salesman In the World" several years back. What I love most Randy is your comittment here to teaching principle along with practice. Keep it coming.

  9. You are so right Randy !! I love your Blog direct and to the point....The best thing in life is to give !!!
Spontaneously engage in acts of benevolence and generosity ! xoxo YOLI

  10. Giving brings divine abundant blessings to the giver and the receiver. The receiver prays for the giver to be blessed the more so that he gets more. Above all Almighty God and the entire universe are touched when we give.

  11. I stopped watching TV long ago. I'm embarrassed to watch manipulative commercials. Advertisers can't treat me as a fool and empty my pockets if I refuse to tune in to their mind-numbing nonsense. Truth is, many TV stars are not people I'd want as neighbors, let alone as personal influences. The low-brow shows -and gossip tabloids promoting them - do not elevate my soul or thoughts (or anyone's!). They serve no positive purpose. They're not on my radar. I zoom in on upbeat stuff.

I enjoy friends, literature, theater, sports, the beauty of nature, uplifting emotions and great food. My focus is on building up, contributing to the world, not in taking, taking, taking and draining off from it and other people per televised fantasies about the allegedly "good life." I help seriously ill and other people with Self-Help Coaching, teaching them to expand on their existing strengths. I wrote 2 highly acclaimed books on how to cope with medical crises, based on career-related and personal knowledge.

The fundamental concept of my coaching service is that "The alternative to coping with adversity is worse." TV-land caters to the "Reality is not fun like fantasyland so I surrender and give up" mindset. Dangerous, dumb and very preventable. No wonder crime and drugs pervade Hollywood. Nature abhors moral vacuums and fills them with deadly junk.

Keep teaching the world, Randy. Your lessons are universal truths.

  12. Can "gossip" be uplifting?

What if I tell my friend, "Hey, I heard Harry is getting a promotion next week! Isn't that fantastic?"

    or

"Did you hear that Joan volunteered at the Special Olympics event last weekend? She's quite a generous lady, wouldn't you say?"

So, is it the propagation of *destructive* news that gives gossip a bad name?

  13. Hey Randy
