The Cold, Hard Truth…

Posted By: Randy GageJune 26, 2018

Everyone makes mistakes.  The reason some people manifest high levels of health, happiness and prosperity, is because they don’t repeat the same mistakes.  People who find themselves tearfully wondering, “why is this happening to me again?” usually aren’t dealing with reality.

They live in a delusional space where they’ve become good at lying to themselves.  They desperately attempt to convince themselves that real change isn’t required, that if they make some shallow, superficial change, the issue will be solved.  But of course it isn’t...

Because unless and until you change the underlying belief and behavior that is causing the bad results – those bad results are going to continue to manifest.

Like right now, odds are that subconsciously, you want me to explain this deeper.  You’re looking for someone to break the news about what is really holding you back.  (It’s flattering to tell yourself that, and make pretend that you are serious about improving you.)   But the truth is, only you can do that.

Because when you stop the avoidance behavior, and choose to leave delusion – you know exactly which behavior you need to change right now.

Don’t you?

  1. SPOT ON - when I had a quite unexpected awakening I was shown my own processing. This processing is not in our conscious awareness and is also taken as truth and so seems effortless to us , but the belief formed from this processing guides every decision we make in life,.and is taken as truth because it seems so effortless. We are so sure we are right that this becomes our world view - this creates the hamster wheel scenario, round and round we go until one day maybe we listen to the call to 'wake up' from our slumber - this is what moving off the hamster wheel refers to.

  2. Delusion is so rampant in our society today. Truth has changed from being a fact to being an emotion. You can't thrive on emotions and you can't change the truth. I meet very few people these days that live by truth. They take most everything they see and hear at face value and never question it's validity. As far as accountability, they throw that at others like the ball that hit the home run. Most conversations are focused outwardly, blaming the world and others for the current state of affairs. Focus must first be in
us. Change comes from within. No one else can do It for us, except God, which today seems to be a last resort shout out in a crisis, not an ongoing relationship with our creator.

    1. Yes, you are so correct. Delusion is so rampant especially among religious followers. I mean, what could be more delusional than believing that a supernatural, invisible deity with male genitalia is watching your every moment waiting for the moment you slip up so that he can smite you? I mean, a true Christian that follows a "holy book" that was written by sheepherders 2000 years ago would definitely not follow Randy since he is a homosexual making him an abomination that should be stoned to death (Leviticus 20:13). That would be hypocritical to the teachings of an "all-loving" God, and I don't know any Christians that are hypocritical, cherry pickers - well, actually, 99.999999999% of them are but who's counting. (Now do you see how much of religious teachings are crazy, delusional bullshit? If not, I can give you dozens of additional passages from the Bible, Torah, or the Koran as examples)

  3. What if I’m not delusional about why this is happening, I know exactly what habits I must create in myself, have no victim in my story and yet I still don’t seem to do that which I already know I need (and want) to do? The what (to do) isn’t the issue. The Why isn’t the issue. The lack of real-world activity is the issue and I’ve yet to learn why I’m not actively doing what I believe is mine to do. There’s a self sabotage at play in me and I’m not yet sure why or how to overcome it.

    1. Matt - you must realize that you are not going to receive the necessary psychoanalysis and tools necessary to combat your issues from Randy or any other financial wealth promoting Internet guru. These gurus' primary concern are to extract money from their "tribe" by promoting conferences, webinars, books, learning materials, etc., etc. Writing a blog with a few simple paragraphs and platitudes will really do nothing to help someone who has serious issues, which were manifested by mistreatment and dysfunctional behavior. I would strongly suggest that you look for professional help from a well-respected psychologist or take the Power of Connection Course. Both will get to the root of the problem, which almost always stems from negative, improper feelings you harbor in your subconscious from traumatic experiences you experienced during your upbringing. Once you are familiar with what triggers those feelings (which eventually triggers your detrimental actions), you will know how and when they are triggered, and what to do to stop them. And just in case you are wondering - I do not receive a dime from the Power of Connection program, so I do not have any financial motivation for you to take the course.

    1. Absolutely as these premises are usually predicated on a notion. Unless we can see our own unconscious processing we remain unaware of the premise we are operating from and so remain stuck in a paradigm which we think is the truth of things. This is why attempts behavioural change may not be lasting, or is exhausting to keep up as it takes a lot of mental energy to keep something we really don't want to know about tucked safely out of sight.
