Stop Denying Your Greatness

Posted By: Randy GageMarch 27, 2019

So many millions of people in the world are playing small today.  Denying their greatness.  And no one is a worse offender than you.  Unless it’s me.

This is my favorite week of the year, because I conduct my TRIBAL Event. It begins this morning, and it’s my own wake up call, that I can and must think even bigger.

I’ve done amazing things.  Accomplished lots of stuff at very high levels.  Am considered one of the most successful people in the world even, by a lot of standards.  And I can tell you I’ve been thinking small.  Holding myself back by denying the extraordinary greatness I can really do, have and become.

And I bet you could be thinking a lot bigger too...

The Miami Dolphins haven’t been able to find a franchise quarterback since Dan Marino retired almost 20 years ago.  But there are 150 guys (and at least a few gals) walking around who could do the job magnificently.  The problem is they’ve never picked up a football.

I would wager that there are at least 100 people alive today who could develop the cure for Leukemia.  But they’re busy trying to take better pictures of food, or start the next social network.  There are people taking community college courses who should be teaching Masters level ones.  There are women serving as president’s assistants, who should really be the president themselves.

What is holding these people back is their self-doubt.  Their denial they that are really capable of doing great things.  They deny themselves the confidence they need.  The confidence that could carry them to their greatness.

So what greatness you are denying yourself from achieving?

  1. Great post Randy, I think i got one of the best food and wine web sites out there right now, really proud of it, but I hate beating my own drum, my web guy had to convince me to put a bio on it, but I'm glad he did, but this post convinces me, I'm not doing anyone any favors by playing small.. when I kick it I want to say I made a difference.. read a good book this week called Stand Firm, a stoic guy who says resist all that self-help stuff but remember, you're going to die some day, accept it and not let little things or even big things bother you in the face of that knowledge..

  2. And I'm one of the people who play small, I said it. I guess it's like an AA meeting where first you have to admit there is a problem.

You're absolutely right, there are many who can be greater that what are doing right now.

I will shortly build my tribe and and accept my abundance but I was afraid of haters. The funny part is that I want to do it since last summer but I was too scared to do it. I'm also now scared, but in meanwhile a lot of shit happend (low on finance, my wife start to study meaning less money from her side and more)

I guess, in the end I decided to do it because the need of success it becomes greater than the fear of getting online bullied

    Thanks Randy

  3. When I look back at the opportunities I missed out on just by thinking small and self sabotaging myself every step of the way I wanna take a gun an kill that person from the past! Or at least slap that idiot in the face. 🙂 If it wasn't for Randy I would never get the right idea and my life on the right track. Randy for president! 🙂

  4. What’s holding me back (in network marketing) other than my shyness is my doubts. My doubts that I can be a successful businessman. Few in my closes circle expect me to achieve.

  5. I believe by your blog, that there could be a lot of greatness that we are missing in ourselves and it will take trying new things to discover that greatness. Thanks!
