"All decisions are based on one of two choices: fear or love." Simple but oh so true! ~ CLB
Sometimes we complicate things way too much. Success always comes down to the decisions you make. And it’s not usually the BIG ones…
Most people invest some real thought in those and usually get them right. It’s the LITTLE decisions that get them: Whether to work out or not. Apologize or not. Pass up that extra piece of pie. Tell the truth.
When you’re faced with a decision, remember this simple concept from the Course in Miracles: All decisions are based on one of two choices: fear or love.
Decisions based on fear are seldom the right ones. Decisions based on love are usually sound ones. Want to make the right choice? Think about which of these two is really driving your decision.

Hmmm ... sounds simple. But how to understand what is what? Every decisions we can justify of the love of ourselves- not work too hard, not to face the difficulties or challenges, it can all be justified by the love of ourselves

New lesson learned! So our decision making system comes from a root of 2: fear and love (?). I had no idea. Thanks for this deep insight!
.....and I thought it has to do with having courage or not, well, its how our ountry argues. Then courage must must have to do with self-love.
....hm, makes sense.
Thanks Randy!

So let me pose a question in this regard. If making a decision about a creative direction is involved and you find yourself stumbling, is this a sign of fear? I guess the lack of Faith or willingness to risk is associated with Fear and must be released. And sometimes in the creative process nothing surfaces, so it's best to leave it alone until the inspiration comes. Would you agree? I think in this particular areas its hard to define love as the means for the decision. Thanks.
@Jonathan1 I think if you feel conflicted or confused, you're working from fear usually.

@Randy_Gage Thanks Randy.. I would agree and in this case, its fear of the unknown.. time to "Man up!'

I think fear gets a bad rap sometimes. It is an emotion that we should take seriously. Sometimes fear comes in handy. If you fear someone or something, it is important to understand why first. Then make a decision. Besides, feeling fear and understanding it, lead to love. It leads to loving and understanding ourselves and our surroundings better.
Mental Health professionals don't base their instruction on "A Course In Miracles". I'm not sure how much I like those cheesy sound bites. 🙁
One more important point, courage is not the lack of fear, it is having fear and going forward anyway.
