Seeing Through Eyes of Love

Posted By: Randy GageDecember 11, 2011

When you see the world through eyes of love, your whole perspective changes...

You see opportunities instead of challenges.  Because you see the possibilities and potential in people and situations, instead of the limitations.

Love brings healing and forgiveness.  It transform hurt, fear, and conflict into harmony.  But it starts with you...

Love and accept yourself first, and you will love and accept others.

Ain’t it great!

  1. This is what His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, lives, breathes and recommends to all.."Accept and Surrender"..

Finding Self Love for many of us is the single most important thing we can do. As Eric Fromm wrote many years ago, "We must love ourselves first in order to love another".

Thanks for posting Randy. As always you remind of us what is most important in Life.

Happy Holidays to you and everyone!

  2. Universal UNCONDITIONAL Love is where it all hangs together.

I am a Reiki Master and after a particularly intense Reiki Session I just wrote these words down. We call it Automatic writing.

    Peace

The one with all that enters in my mind
Engenders thoughts of Peace for ALL mankind.
When we can see that we are all the same
It stills the need to play the killing Game!
The Rose does not attack the Maple Tree
But lives beside in Peace and harmony.
Since Time began we learn to hate those others who exist beyond our gate.
If we could grasp we live on common ground.
The answers to our strife may well be found.

  3. I read the title and immediately thought of that song from "Ice Castles". "Looking through the eyes of love", I loved that song and Robbie Benson when I was younger.

Randy, I agree it is more prosperous to see with love rather than judgement, apathy or helplessness.

It reminds me of the button I had when I was a volunteer, it said "Volunteer Because Change is Possible".

However, I do think finding solutions and opportunities for the broken things in our world, requires understanding the problems, challenges, and limitations first.

  4. Hi Randy,
Wonderful post! Many years ago I had the honour of hosting in my humble home. Dr.and Mrs. Menzies when they were invited to be guest lecturers at the Theological Seminary. Dr. Menzies gave me 2 of his many books he wrote entitled "Understanding the Times of Christ' and 'The Book of Philippians' He autographed for me 'Attempt great things for God and expect great things from God'. and am doing likewise.

    Ain't it great!

  5. I agree, it's all about love. I strongly believe that the love we cultivate for ourselves grows as we learn to love others. It happens simultaneously. Part of our own self-love derives from our ability to love someone else.

  6. Randy,
big big thank you... that you wrote here this!

Because this is for me the most!

Every person treated by love! No matter who is he/she... no matter what they do, no matter what they have...

LOVE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN THE WORLD.

Try to imagine world, where everybody express love... It can change everything... No stress, no hurry, but most important NO FIGHT! NO WAR!

    Thank you,
    Marketa

  7. Such a big journey for so many- me included 🙂 to come to the realization that one must love oneself first in order to live on purpose and create positive change that empowers you and then you create the ripple effect that then empowers others
