Questions for Prosperity

Posted By: Randy GageSeptember 26, 2018

We’ve spent the last eight posts looking at causes of failure.  How foundational beliefs can cause you to self-sabotage your own success.  I presented what I see as the five deadliest causes, the beliefs that underlie those causes, and suggested the sources you get those beliefs from.

But why should you accept what I’m saying as fact?

The short answer is, you shouldn’t.  Because nothing I write here is presented as fact or Truth with a capital ‘T.’  It’s me sharing my own beliefs, based on the experiences I’ve gone through, and what I’ve been able to accomplish with the lessons learned from that experience.  Whether it’s this blog, my books, seminars or podcast, my objective is to share what’s working, and not working in my own life, in order to provide insights for you.

Then the job is yours.  You need to question the premise, process the information, and use critical thinking on how it applies or doesn’t apply, to your own life.  You have to question what me or anyone else suggests about your beliefs.  Then you have to question your beliefs.  Which is the part most people won't actually do.  They filter everything they hear against their own confirmation bias they already have about their beliefs.

If you want to become prosperous, the best process isn’t being born into a wealthy family, winning the lottery, cracking the stock market, finding investors, or even building a better mousetrap.  The best process for manifesting prosperity is using your abilities for critical thinking and discernment.

So how you doing on that?

  1. One of your best posts. I have been saying exactly this for years and very few people listen. Most people have the "sheep mentality".

  2. Not good enough Randy. I'm in a steady job but want to do something new and on my own. Haven't found the right path yet.

  3. You nailed it Randy Gage. The layers can get deep, but I'm glad that you are so truthful with your own growth and experiences. Your contributions are heartfelt and sincere and you can't ask for much more than that from others. I hope your fellow, " I can't remember what you called them now", are taking in what you have to say and using it to take them to the next level of their prosperity and success, whatever that may be for them. I hope people understand that the journey starts with where you are at and that they don't compare themselves to anyone else. We are all works in progress and we all have individual paths to follow. I pray that every one finds theirs in this life and has the opportunity, as you have, to give back to those trying to find their way. Home run Gage.

  4. Quieter church mice?

It may be difficult for people to question beliefs because they were taught not to. They we're also taught not to look back. If you think God wants you to have all those limiting beliefs ( deadly beliefs) why would you question them? This is what God wants, right? That is your destiny right? You have no choice. This is what it is.

Why should you accept what religions teach as facts?
