Prosperity and Sexuality

Posted By: Randy GageMay 24, 2014

You know all about yin and yang, male and female, positive and negative.  But what if gender isn’t quite that simple?

It’s not.

What if almost everything you thought you knew about sexuality was wrong?  What if everything more than five billion people around the world thought about sexuality is wrong?

It is.

You may think it’s the height of arrogance for me to suggest that five billion people could be wrong about anything, least of all something as cut and dried as the fact that there are two genders of people in this world.  But I assure you it’s not arrogance, and it’s not unreasonable to think that more than five billion plus people could be wrong about a lot of things.

You probably have been educated to believe certain things about sex and sexuality – yours and others – that are completely false.  And it shouldn’t surprise you to learn that when you have erroneous beliefs about important things, they prevent you from creating the life you desire.

Think about this:  Your core beliefs about most everything that is really important in life: god, equality, sexuality, sex, money, relationships, marriage, etc. – are pretty much set in stone for most people before they are ten years old.  And unfortunately for most people – most of those core foundational beliefs are wrong – and prevent them from living a life of health, happiness and prosperity.

Sexual energy is one of the most powerful influences of human behavior there is. Sex and sexuality are taboo or emotional subjects in many religions, and as a result, religion creates a lot of negative and erroneous beliefs on these issues.  Most of these emotionally-charged beliefs are based upon centuries-old stereotypes and superstitions.

The resulting fear and ignorance about these subjects is causing people to be bullied, bully others, discriminate, hate, and even kill others or themselves.  In light of all that, I thought it would be helpful for you to explore…

The relationship between your beliefs about sex and sexuality – and the prosperity you are manifesting in your life.

Right now there are a lot of events in the news, bringing this discussion to the forefront: the Boko Harem kidnapping schoolgirls and killing their teachers, same-sex marriage debates here in the States, and Michael Sam being drafted as the first openly-gay NFL player with the hateful comments afterward.

All of these situations highlight how you can be programmed with negative beliefs in childhood, which can manifest as you grow up into worthiness issues, intolerance, hate, and even violence.

And none of those things bring you closer to a prosperous life...

The people we allow to influence us the most – religious leaders, government officials, and cultural icons – have seriously let us down.  You may be programmed with beliefs or abide by government regulations which support discriminating, persecuting or even attacking certain people because of their sex or sexuality.  But to do so is against the most basic tenants of prosperity.

Organized Religion and the Other Merchants of Misinformation…

You probably also have been programmed with some beliefs, which you have accepted as “facts,” due to organized religion, the region of the world you were raised in, or other environmental factors.  Some of these beliefs may include that women should not be allowed to receive education, sex is only natural between a man and woman, marriage is only for a man and woman, homosexuality is unnatural or immoral, or transgender people are freaks of nature or possessed by evil spirits.

Like many inaccurate beliefs, they are the result of fear and ignorance, and have no basis in fact.  The species we call human is ever developing and evolving – and evolution is a messy process, with lots of divergence along the way.

We have to start the discussion with the way we treat women today.  Still nowadays we have religious sects and entire societies that believe women should not be able to vote, own property, or receive an education.  There are many who even believe that killing a woman who wants to receive an education is justified on religious grounds.

We once believed that it was acceptable to own other humans as slaves.  As we gained in wisdom and enlightenment, we rethought that belief.  It is now time to rethink our beliefs about women.

It’s also time to reconsider how we think about and treat non-heterosexual, transgender and intersex people.  Whether you believe in the big bang or a supernatural entity, the fact is, gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, pansexual, transgender and intersex people are all just part of the natural evolutionary process.

Unfortunately, the prejudice and intolerance against people different than us – particularly from organized religion – is virulent and insidious.

I have a friend in Florida who moved there from Indonesia.  The reason: his family is Muslim and if they find out he is gay, his brother or father would kill him.  Now understand he loves his family deeply and they love him the same way.  But that wouldn’t stop them from killing him, if they discovered he is a homosexual.

Islam is certainly not alone in these violent beliefs about homosexuality.  Judaism and Christianity also have their “sacred” texts that advocate killing non-heterosexuals.  Now I’m not going to debate your religious beliefs or attempt to convert anyone.  I’ll just say any belief – religious or otherwise – that advocates killing someone because of their sexual identity doesn’t serve the world and no person who understands the principles of prosperity would support such a belief.

The conventional arguments you hear frequently today (usually from religious people) for discrimination, exclusion, persecution, or execution of non-heterosexuals is that sex between a man and a woman is the only normal or natural thing, marriage has always been between a man and a woman, and monogamy has always been the socially accepted norm.  But while those certainly are opinions they have the right to believe – they are opinions, and have no basis in fact.  Let’s look at each of those in turn…

Marriage is an ancient and sacred institution to bond a man and a woman

The “institution” of marriage as many are defining it now isn’t really much of an institution.  What they would tell you has been the standard definition of marriage since the beginning of civilization, is actually a much more recent development.  The prophet Mohamed had many wives.  Mormons practiced polygamy since their inception until only a generation ago, and there is still a sect that does this practice, and they are certainly not the only ones.  Not to mention, cultures that also embraced polyandry - a woman having more than one husband.  (For the record, I have no problem with either polygamy or polyandry.  I'm Libertarian and support the right of consenting adults to make their own choices.  I only mention them here to illustrate that all the talk about the sacred and traditional forms of marriage isn't really accurate.)  You don't have to like these definitions of marriage, but you can't deny their existence.

For centuries, marriages were determined by the power struggles and alliances between warring families and clans.  Some of these cultures make the marriage practices of Game of Thrones look mild by comparison. Still today in a number of places, forced and arranged marriages are the societal norm.

The issue of marriage equality is not a religious issue or debate about values.  It is an issue of basic human rights.  The forces of ignorance would distract you with questions like, “Why should we bestow special rights to gay people when they make a lifestyle choice against my religious beliefs?”

But if they can get you to ask the wrong question, the answer doesn’t matter.

Because by its very nature that question above is pejorative, based on fear and misinformation.

First of all, sexuality is not a “lifestyle choice,” but a biological determination.  People’s sex and sexuality is what they were born with.

And no one is asking for “special rights” for LGBT people, just as no one is asking for special rights for Asians, stamp collectors, or blond people.  There is no such thing as “gay rights,” there are only human rights.  And all humans deserve them.

Now you have every right to belong to a religion that performs marriage ceremonies only between a man and a woman.  But you cannot say with any veracity that this is the natural and exclusive definition of marriage for humankind.  And marriage really is a religious institution; the government shouldn’t be involved in it.

The government can administer civil unions, which allow the same basic rights for all.  To pick out one group and bestow financial and legal benefits and deprive others because they are different than you is anti-humanity and thus anti-prosperity.

Non-Heterosexuality is Unnatural

Because of the various chromosomes, hormonal and genital combinations nature has blessed us with, there are a lot of naturally occurring attractions in addition to male and female.  And it has always been so, since the inception of humankind.  From the warrior-monks of Mount Hiei to ancient China, it was fairly common for kings, emperors, and wealthy merchants to have male “pets” or concubines.  It was not uncommon for fierce warriors of many tribes to have a wife and family at home they fought for, as well as a young male concubine.   Homosexuality and bisexuality were celebrated in the Roman Empire.  (And you’re perfectly entitled to believe that it was immoral and the cause of their downfall.  That doesn’t negate the fact that this was the case.)

And yes there is overwhelming evidence of homosexuality and bi-sexuality in the animal kingdom, documented in at least 1,500 species.  And as far as we can tell, it occurs naturally, not because a kangaroo was exposed to an episode of Modern Family or converted by their gay kangaroo scoutmaster.

And here’s the ironic thing.  All the hate, judgment and discrimination you see directed against non-heterosexuals is actually based on a concept of gender that is wildly erroneous.

You probably have the same basic understanding of gender and sexuality as most other people.  You have been taught that in humans, the sperm reaches the egg and the result is either XX chromosome, which produces a girl, or a XY chromosome, which produces a boy.  That is a very simplistic explanation and does happen fairly frequently.

But there are a number of other scenarios that also play out quite commonly...

In fact, there are actually almost 20 known types of sex variations in addition to what we call male and female.  Just to give you an idea, let me share some examples with you:

Turner Syndrome: (Or Ullrich-Turner Syndrome) manifests as several conditions in females, where all or part of the sex chromosomes are absent.  Characteristics can range from small stature or a low hairline, to non-working ovaries and sterility.  This condition actually happens in between 1 in 2,000 to 1 in 5,000 of female births.

Klinefelter Syndrome: In this condition, a male has one or more extra X chromosomes, so they could be XXY, XXXY, etc.  Most of the time the symptoms are undetectable, or could be minor like hypogonadism, or more severe such as sterility.   They may have a penis and testes, but also show wide hips like a female and have small breasts.  This actually happens between 1 in 500 to 1 in 1,000 of male births.

Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH):  Female infants with classic CAH have ambiguous genitalia due to exposure to high concentrations of androgens in utero.  The most common scenario is to have XX chromosomes, uterus and ovaries. They may also possess a phallus, shortened vagina, or other masculinization.

Ovotestes: This person has both ovarian and testicular tissues.

Other times the person may have no outward signs of an intersex condition at birth, and it doesn’t develop until puberty or adulthood.  (Or isn’t major enough to become noticeable at all.)  That’s because genitalia is not the only factor in intersex conditions.  They are also created by chromosomes, hormones and internal reproductive organs.   For many of these people, their gender does not match the one they were assigned at birth.

The reality is that one in every 150 people is intersex, so the world is filled with many intersex people.  (You could even be intersex yourself and not know it.)  And you can’t tell by looking at them what their gender identity will be.  Intersex people are simply those born with a mix of female and male characteristics.

One of the common misconceptions is that intersex people must be genderqueer or androgynous.  In actuality, some intersex people are androgynous, some identify as women and some as men.

Complicating the matter is that in many cases, non-consensual genital surgery is performed on infants.  Many intersex people are born with ambiguous genitalia – a clitoris that is deemed “too large,” or a penis considered “too small.”  So doctors may surgically assign an infant as female, because they assume it is easier to go through life with a vagina than a small or partially developed penis.  In the United States, 45 babies with intersex conditions receive “corrective” surgery every day.  This unnecessary surgery is traumatic, can cause loss of sexual function, and often results in incorrect gender assignment.

These are some of the reasons we have people who are born in one physical gender, but psychologically are another.  Why there are boys who like to play with dolls, girls who want to play football, heterosexual people who like to cross dress, and gay, lesbian, pansexual, bisexual, and transgender people.

So while it seems nice and convenient to say God created a man and a woman, girls should play with dolls/boys should play with trucks, and marriage is only for a man and a woman – those opinions don’t really have any basis in fact or reality.

There is a very broad spectrum of the species we call human.  And every human, deserves basic human rights and dignity.  On the trajectory we’re on, we’re creating a world that soon we won’t want to live in.  Any beliefs you have that would demonize, discriminate, or otherwise diminish any other human being are anti-humanity, and thus anti-prosperity.

You cannot experience prosperity yourself if you are actively trying to deny it to others.

Now it is time to take control back, and begin the process of living together in peace and harmony.  Here in America, we defined this in our Declaration of Independence as the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  Wherever you live, to live a prosperous life, you must support this philosophy of respect for the dignity and human rights of all.

You have every right to believe marriage is a sacred institution between a man and a woman, women should be killed for wanting to be educated, or homosexual should be stoned.  But you’ll have a hard time convincing me those are spiritual values, or the wishes of a just and benevolent god.

Any rational critical thinker would understand those beliefs are based upon centuries-old fear, phobias, and superstitions – and have no place in an enlightened and prosperous society.  Hate, intolerance, and judgment are not family or spiritual values, and they certainly don’t take you closer to prosperity.

To discriminate, persecute or deny basic human rights to anyone on the basis of their sex or sexual identity is a crime against all humanity.  It denies prosperity to both the oppressed and the oppressors.  If we want to live in a world of prosperity we must all stand up for the human rights and dignity of all people.  Only then will we live in a truly prosperous world.

  1. After going to church for 52 years, my whole life, I quit going a year ago.  I feel I was brainwashed  and am almost embarrassed that I did not figure it out sooner.  I still have spritual thoughts but not a fan of the church.
I could not agree more with your thoughts on the issue of sex and sexuality.  Who are we to say what is right or normal.   Hats off to the folks with courage to take this issue on.

  2. Randy, are you trying to tell us something?  Are you going to be coming out of the closet soon?

  3. Randy,
Some very high level and well-developed thoughts on prosperity here.  It's slightly uncomfortable for me to read some parts of your post, so I know that as much as I try to be open-minded, there are subconscious beliefs from my traditional Catholic upbringing that still remain and need to be questioned.  I think ultimately this is a great challenge for everyone, regardless of gender or sexual preference, to become more open and comfortable with our own sexuality, which is certainly a big key to enhancing self-confidence and eliminating worthiness issues.  Thanks for the post!  And now prepare for the inevitable accusations of your being gay or transgender to begin. haha

  4. James_Carian Do yourself a favor and get out of that religious cult.  I went to a Catholic school from kindergarten to 8th grade.  I was taught the most heinous, narrow-minded bullshit imaginable.  The things in which that religion has been involved in covering up  (bribery, child molestation, etc., etc.) should have their hierarchy charged with the RICO Act.  The only hope for change in that church is their new Pope, Francis.  For once, they have a leader that uses some common sense when speaking to the masses.

  5. Well said, Randy. I would add only that not all Christian denominations are negative about non-heterosexual realities. This is one reason I was drawn to The Episcopal Church. And I have plenty of "enlightened" friends in a myriad of other religions, Christian and otherwise, that would support all or most of what you wrote. Thank you for taking a stand on these issues. Now for the comment firestorm...

  6. Great article Randy, a lot of strong statements that need to be said.  Its just not acceptable for you to judge people because they were born a certain way and you just don't like it.  I believe its not acceptable for you to judge anyone for that matter, you may not like them or how they dress or how they look but you still have to accept them for who they are as an individual.  The third paragraph in the beginning is awesome, I agree that 5 billion plus people could be wrong about a lot of things.  Never be afraid to speak your mind and share your opinion, keep being you.  Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this touchy subject for most Randy.

  7. pandkenterprises I have not been involved with a church for over a year now.  I believed it was not for my highest good any longer.  At the same time, I will never hold resentment, anger, or hatred towards the Catholic (or any) church, because I understand that they are simply living within what they believe to be morally right.  I also gained a great deal in character from the involvement that I had with the people there, so I am still grateful to them in some ways.  For me it's more so the dogma that you're taught when you're young that does the most harm, such as the original sin concept and the idea that we are flawed simply because we're human (and other teachings).  So I have no qualms with the church and still have many friends who are very involved in their faiths.  I am now in the infancy of developing my own personal spirituality outside the church and deciding what that will be for me.

  8. God loved us first, and gave his only begotten son as payment for our sins. Fellowship with God, is destroyed by sin, and sin is human disobedience.. Love humans.. Worship and obey God.

  9. James_Carian pandkenterprises Great, it appears that you are  the right path.  The only thing I would question is your statement that the Catholic Church is "simply living within what they believed to be morally right".  Being involved in an exorbitant number of sexual molestations of children and a mass cover up of such would be something I would call very, very "morally wrong".  If the Catholic Church would have prosecuted the priests involved to the full extent of the law, instead of shuffling them from one parish to another and using money to pay off the victims, then I would agree with you that they were "morally right".  I am a retired police officer and have seen firsthand the devastation caused by Catholic priests.  Also, the roadblocks this "righteous religion" causes whenever there is a criminal investigation into one of their priests/bishops.  Why anyone would belong to a group/organization/religion that would do something like this is beyond me (but then again, religion is one of the very few arenas where people put all common sense and logic on hold - just say it is the will of God and you can do absolutely anything, i.e., raping of young girls (fundamental Mormons), bombing of a bus full of kids (Muslims - where the reward will be 72 virgins), failure to provide healthcare to children (Christian Scientists), and on and on and on… the stupid bullshit never seems to end).

  10. You clearly spent months writing this mixture of nonsense, truth, opinion and point of view.  Hate does not exist, it is a concept and to continue to argue for or against has never made any difference.  People pick sides and the ying yang nonsense continues.  I can't agree or disagree. Everything is perfect just the way it is and the direction, the normal petty pace of it, will continue.  The most recent, the last ten years of neuroscience and cognitive science research says...
The belief that our attitude or state of mind influences or causes the way we act is a fallacy.
The belief that our feelings or emotions influence or cause the way we act is a fallacy.
The belief that our body sensations influence or cause the way we act is a fallacy.
The belief that our decisions influence or cause the way we act is also a fallacy.
Therefore ANYTHING you do in any of these areas with the belief it will somehow affect or change your behavior is a waste of time!
The MYTHS of the current age are deadly!! We have all believed them, can't stop acting from them even when we know they are fallacies.  Finding our own path is within...
Only one thing makes any difference. Making any portion of the now, the present wrong ain't it.

  11. pandkenterprises  It's his death, his soul, his awesomeness, his sexiness, his boldness, his sexiness...

  12. God, or no God
Randy Gage surely gives us something to reflect on.
We are all different in our own way, Accept it, Forgive, if someone accidentally steps over you with their beliefs.
    - Give with no expectations!
Adapt a prosperous belief into your own life.

  13. NatalieLamb pandkenterprises You stated sexiness twice.  Is there something Freudian here?  (Okay, for me it's the hair)

  14. Randy, (with iceburner) it also looks like you have a Fox news viewer (or ultra right-winger) as an admirer.

  15. pandkenterprises  Sexiness should have been at least three times!
And maybe I should add that I love him for his corrections of my typing too!  🙂

  16. Great postcard Randy, there is so much judgement in the world and people being treated differently because of "beliefs" and what they have grown up to believe are "facts"  yet those beliefs can't be facts because facts are only beliefs ..........
Fear sits behind so many of these prejudices - because people are afraid of what they do not understand, and yet instead of looking deeper and questioning and seeking the truth they judge and treat people badly.
The governments decree what is right and what is wrong - yet who gave them to power to do that?  Who gave "religion" the power to say what an individual should, should not do.......
We did and as such we (as in every person in the world) can choose to STOP and change our thoughts, change our beliefs and celebrate that we are all the same - humans with feelings ----- 🙂

  17. Hi Randy.
I agree with you that human rights are very important and a person's sexuality should never be cause for any discrimination or abuse. There is however, one area in this discussion that I believe is overlooked and that is the rights of children. It's something that never comes up, it's like they don't exist.  I knew a heterosexual couple once that fell in love, married and had a child. The child was born with the most horrific deformities. It was then the couple found out that they were brother and sister. Sperm donors and gay marriages are morally right but we must at the same time consider the health and well being of every child. I believe regardless of an adults sexuality, children have the right to know who their biological parents are and it should be clearly stated on their birth certificates for them. For many years children that were adopted were not given this right. Governments and Religious organisations for moral reasons hid the realities of many children's birth and it caused a lot of heartache and major health problems. Many adult children spent years searching for their biological parents. It' was heartbreaking. Children of heterosexual couples are now given this right but sperm donations and gay marriages, while they are morally right are again taking that right away from children. It's also a health problem. Many diseases and blood disorders are genetic, this is another reason it's important we know every child's correct genetic history.
Millions of people work tirelessly every day to take care of other people's mental, emotional and physical health. It's the largest sector in most communities. I don't believe that a marriage should only be between a man and a woman but at the same time, only a man and woman can create a child and for physical, emotional and mental health reasons, it is the child's right to know them. This is something I would like everyone to consider regardless of religion or sexuality.
Another point - all forms of manipulation and brainwashing is done by people with pathological mental health disorders and you will find them everywhere including all cults and some organised religions, but then again people have the right to choose what they want to believe whether it is false or otherwise, but false beliefs will affect their mental and emotional health and their prosperity. If one chooses to believe they are a dog, then they will act like one - that's logical, and if they want to hang onto that belief, I'm sure if they looked hard enough, they'd find a dog religion or other dog organisation to belong to that confirmed the belief for them, otherwise they'd have to change it?

  18. Made me think. I understand the struggle Gays face (establishing identity, usually in the early teens) from talks with Gay friends, but I had never considered what it must be like to have been born Intersex (had to follow you link to figure out what that was) and how difficult that must be when growing up and establishing a sexual identity. Again, good job cause it made me think.

  19. Outwitting the Devil is a book by Napoleon Hill that was withheld from publication for 70 years. Hill demonstrates how organized religion and other influences fuel fear. Fear results in a negative hypnotic rhythm that holds us back. One result of opinions based on teaching in churches and schools is fear. True prosperity and fear do not mix.

  21. pandkenterprises Well I thank you for your service in the police force.  I think you mistook my statement for condoning the behavior of some of the priests and other individuals within the church.  There is definitely nothing morally right about the abuses and cover-ups and so forth.  I consider myself grateful and fortunate in that sense as well, because I have been emotionally open with and had great friendships with a number of priests over the years, and they have always had only positive intents of giving useful advice and direction.  Never have I experienced, or could I possibly imagine, the trauma that some young children (and adults) have gone through.  And I hope that they are able to emotionally recover from those events and reach a level of consciousness where they're able to forgive those who have hurt them.  Even still, we need to be honest about the fact that these types of abuses are not exclusive to the Catholic church.  It's a problem in various environments around the world.  So yes, it will always be easy to target the church as a spectacle for rape and abuse, but it's not just a church problem - it's a world problem.  And that's exactly what Randy's work is all about: expanding the consciousness of ALL people.

  22. Wow... Now that's a book worth writing. "Faith, Hope, Love". and the greatest of these if LOVE.

  23. Hard to argue with this:
"You cannot experience prosperity yourself if you are actively trying to deny it to others."
Then of course, with absolutes there seems to often be exceptions. When Communism ruled over Czechoslovakia, President Reagan actively tried to deny prosperity to those who were forcing communism onto people who would rather have been free. Hard to argue with President Reagan.
"If we want to live in a world of prosperity we must all stand up for the human rights and dignity of all people." The question becomes, does that include the people who are oppressing other people?

  24. artjonak Art, regarding your above very-thoughtful and intelligent question:
"If we want to live in a world of prosperity we must all stand up for the human rights and dignity of all people."
"The question becomes, does that include the people who are oppressing other people?"
    ----------

Art, in terms of the political aspect you mention in your question above, one's "rights" never includes infringing upon the rights of someone else. The two main elements of a "right" is that (1) it exists simultaneously among all all people (in other words, it is something everyone possess via "natural law" - in the case of the U.S. it would be the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness) and, (2) it does not confer any obligation on another, except that of non-interference. In your above question, the people who are "oppressing other people" have relinquished their rights because they are denying them to others. Of course, going into another country to defend peoples' rights is an entirely different issue, beyond the scope of this conversation.

  25. Randy thanks for the awesome insight... I believe in & celebrate all of humanity's differences & my true inner heart is humanitarian, but call it the selfishness of most people makes being kind very, very difficult. Your point about denying others their human rights blocks prosperity of the one doing the denying also gives me a lot to think about and help me with my day to day dealings with people.

  26. Here's the reality, Randy. Marriage between a man and woman is ordained of God. Justify all you want, but God is real, he lives, and loves you, but His laws are non-negotiable, and cannot be changed, manipulated or discredited. The light of Christ shines within us all and lets us know the difference between right and wrong. No amount of philosophical ranting can change that. If you ever want to talk in person I'd be happy to sit down with you and talk about it. Please don't push Him out of your life. He wants you to know that He is there for you. And he's not a fictional magic man in the sky. He is our Father, He created the heavens and the earth. He is the Almighty God and he can live in your life if you just let him. You are entitled to personal revelation, if you but seek with pure intent. Please, ask Him, on your knees in fervent prayer, if He is there, and you will feel His presence. I promise you that. I'm not perfect, not even close, but I know this to be true.

  27. Allow me to expand on a few issues...

    1) Any belief – religion, government, political or otherwise – that advocates interfering, agressing, oppressing, ridiculing and/or killing someone because of their difference doesn’t serve the world and no person who understands the principles of prosperity would support such a belief.

    2) The government shouldn't be involved in marriage, nor necessarily any other religion.  🙂

  28. Randy, that was a passionate discourse! Thanks for your thoughts on the subject. I have to confess I haven't had much exposure to transgender and intersex people via education or from meeting people who are open about it. I have Googled both of these recently because they came up somewhere and I was curious to know more about them. I didn't realise that someone could be intersex and not know it. The stats are fascinating too. Reading your post I immediately thought of a guy that falls into this category. I'm told that he's a cross dresser and is a real pro at doing make-up. The girls must think it's a bonus because he does great fantasy make-up for them.
I think that gay and lesbian is no big deal these days for most young people, at least the ones that aren't involved in a church. I spend a bit of time at a dance studio and there's an above average concentration of gay men involved in dancesport. Either that, or they're just more open about it. It was my first regular contact with openly gay men, and like anything new, it was a bit weird at first, but after a while of seeing guys hold hands or people cracking gay sex jokes and the like, it was no big deal. The more we accept gays and lesbians, the easier it will be for them to be open and the easier it will be for more people to feel comfortable and accept them - a virtuous circle.

My family background is interesting. I remember spending time with my late grandmother who told me how, back in the day when blacks were considered inferior members of the human race, she made a point of going and sitting in the spare seat next to a black person on the train when everyone else had been avoiding it. Clearly she had a very accepting nature. She had a son, my father, who happened to develop an extreme disliking for gays. It's the typical response - it's not natural, AIDS is nature's way of exterminating them, yadda, yadda. It's a bit strange really, considering the upbringing. One day when the time is right and the conversation comes up, I wouldn't mind dropping my observations on how discrimination changes from one generation to another, but it still seems to linger. Gays, blacks, Jews - we could go back a long way through history and find many more examples.
From my point of view, I'm open to people being and doing anything, as long as it doesn't infringe upon my right to be and do what I want. There are so many different ways of experiencing the world and it's really none of my business to dictate how others should lead their lives.

  29. Many people are intoleranted, disliking
    for gays. They aren't open-minded.
    A lot of people
    can't accept a different person
and excommunicate him from their societyEven the law in the bible is to expel the gays andlesbians girls , to ban them out .these day,
there are some countries like Egypt, that is prohibited At
according to the local law, to be a gay, and the penalty on
    it is Imprisonment.
My attitude to this subject is to live and let others to live in their way
    of life.

  30. If we are all God's children, what makes Jesus so special?  Just wondering, just wondering…

  31. Maree No marriages between brothers and sisters?  How are we in Montana supposed to procreate?  Of course, that would probably eliminate all of the inbred, redneck assholes that drive around in monster trucks harassing people, but still…

I would beg to differ with you regarding your statement, "Religious organisations for moral reasons hid the realities of many children's birth".  You need to watch the movie 'Philomena'.  I believe you meant to say, "for monetary and sin punishment reasons".

  32. artjonak President Reagan also cut funding for AIDS research because he and his cabinet believed AIDS was a deserving wrath bestowed upon homosexuals for their decadent lifestyle. Hard to argue with President Reagan.

So now the question becomes, did he oppress others by not allowing medical research that would have hastened a solution to a way to stave off the detrimental effects of AIDS?

  33. Casey - Thank you,
for being a true Christian and not cherry picking from the Bible the things you
want to do (as 99.9% of the other Christians do), and for following the Bible
literally.  Since "His laws are non-negotiable, and cannot be
changed, manipulated or discredited", I want to be a “real” Christian,
and so I would like you to explain the following to me since I am one of those very
rare morons who uses reason and logic to direct my life and not superstition and
    fear:

    1.“Anyone who
desecrates it must die; anyone who works on that day will be cut off from the
community.  Work six days only, but the seventh day must be a day of total
rest.  I repeat: Because the LORD considers it a holy day, anyone who works
on the Sabbath must be put to death.”(Exodus 31:12-15)
My neighbor is constantly mowing his
lawn on Sunday (not only is it a sin, but much worse than that, I can’t sleep
in after spending all night at the nude bar with my male, Christian friends - don’t
worry, they ask God for forgiveness when they go to church on Sunday so they
are absolved of all their lap dance sins, at least until next Saturday night).Should I shoot him with my .30-06 rifle or my
shotgun? In other words, how did you
kill your neighbors when you saw them working on Sunday?
2.“And the pig, because it parts the hoof but does not chew the cud, is
unclean for you. Their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses you shall
    not touch.” (Deuteronomy 14:8)
This one is really perplexing because I
don’t know of a Christian who is the just doesn’t love their bacon and eggs.
    3.“You should not let
    a sorceress live.”  (Exodus 22:17)
My neighbor is a Wiccan.Am I still allowed to burn her at the stake or should I just set her
    house on fire?
4.“You shall not revile God, nor
curse a ruler of your people.” (Exodus 22:28)
Do you want to tell Texans to quit their incessant bitching
    about Obama or should I?
5."If a man lies with a male as with a
women, both of them shall be put to death for their abominable deed; they have
    forfeited their lives."  (Leviticus 20:13)
Lookout, Elton John, (and possibly Randy) I’m coming for you!
    6.“Whoever lies with an animal
    shall be put to death”.
    (Exodus 22:19)
Being that I was in law enforcement in Montana, I have
arrested a few men for bestiality (but, of course).I always had them put through the judicial
system.Should I have just pulled out my
gun, place it to the back of their head, and pulled the trigger?Wouldn’t that have been more Christian-like?
7.“Let your women keep silence in the churches:
for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under
obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn anything, let them ask
their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.” (1 Cor. 14:34)
    Now, this is a
biblical verse all men would agree with.A
woman’s place is barefoot, pregnant, and in the kitchen (and no back-talk or I
will not spare the rod - can I beat her to death or does she have to live at
least one day as my slaves do?).Now, if
we could only find a verse that would make it a sin for African-Americans to
talk during movies (hey, I’m a dreamer; what can I say).
8.“When a man sells his daughter as a slave,
she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are.  If she does
not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again.
But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke
the contract with her.  And if the slave girl's owner arranges for her to
marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave girl, but he must treat
her as his daughter.  If he himself marries her and then takes another
wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her as his
wife.  If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free
woman without making any payment.”  (Exodus 21:7-11)
So I can buy as many sex slaves as I want as long as I feed
them, clothes them, and have sex them?Holy shit, and to think I was
having a hard time before this trying to keep from maxing out my credit cards.(Any men out there got a daughter with which
they want to make some extra money?Since God says it’s okay and I have an American Express platinum card, I
    will take all comers).
9.“When a man strikes his slave,
male or female, with a rod and the slave dies under his hand, he shall be avenged.
But if the slave survives a day or two, he is not to be
avenged, for the slave is his money.”(Exodus 21:20-21)
Since God has established that I can own
slaves, I want to make sure that they survive at least a day or 2 after I beat
them. How long do you beat your slaves
with a rod before you stop so they can survive at least one day (and would they
be covered under my insurance or Obama Care)?
Casey, here’s another thing I just don’t understand. So many Christians try to rationalize this
but it is clear that a “true follower” of Jesus can neither divorce someone nor
marry someone who is divorced. There is an exception to the rule,
however.  If spouse commits adultery, divorce is permissible.  On the
same token, the Bible also says that anyone who obtains a divorce and marries
another is in adulterer (and adulterers should be put to death - Leviticus 20:10).
But Christians have a 50% divorce rate.  The majority of divorces
are a result of irreconcilable differences, not adultery, which implies that
Christians are again practicing selective morality and are adulterers.  I
know several Christians who are working on a second, third, or fourth marriage. My question to you is that since close to
half of the US population are adulterers, when can I expect you to come and
help me execute this overwhelming number of pseudo-Christians?
There are hundreds of other verses that have me
confused, but I will stop with these ones.Whenever I ask a “real” Christian about biblical versus that I feel are
heinous, comical, or just plain stupid, the majority of them either get very
angry (without giving me a logical response) or they give the biggest bullshit cop-out
there is and state, “God works in mysterious ways”.Please answer the above posthaste.I have been eyeing the daughter of my
neighbor, I have a very healthy libido, and my credit card is burning a hole in
    my pocket.

  34. Maybe you can explain the questions I posed to Casey (above).

Also, worship and obey?  That doesn't seem to leave a lot of room for free-will, does it?  Sounds like something the brain-washed followers in North Korea do to their leader.

  35. Randy, you deserve a longer rebuttal to your less than
    courageous rant.
It would take real courage to state; To discriminate,
persecute or deny basic human rights to anyone on the basis of [ANYTHING] is a
crime or SHOULD BE.  Why pick only one basis? Since you chose only three
rights, the three mentioned in the Declaration of Independence, have those
basic human rights increased or decreased in the last 50 to 100 years? If you can be deprived of any right for any
reason is it really a right?
Are there more people killed, murdered, eliminated on this
planet for any reason, from legal convenience to so called justified grounds
now or a 100 years ago? What is the likelihood
the number will decrease from your outrage or is increase in loss of human life
regardless the only logical answer? In typical fashion, you recommend a movie and
earn a commission. Of course, you are justified in doing so. Human life is in
such contempt that many of your followers here see fit to bully and denigrate
people they do not know or appear to differ from in some mundane way. Their beliefs justify their behavior.I assert there is NO VALID REASON to take
another’s life or deprive them of its use.Yes, there are plenty of legal ones. Legal does not make it right. It is also legal and often acclaimed as a
sacred duty to discriminate, persecute and deny people the full use of their
    life. [Sharia] Some people believe
people are their bodies. That justifies and allows people to discriminate
against anyone who lost a limb or any portion of control of their body. The
examples of people spending years in prison for something they did not do are
    legion.Daily the news shares police
using deadly force to deal with innocent people. The news lets you know it can happen to you.It is nearly impossible to discover what
happens when they make a ‘legal’ mistake. Are those in power held to a higher standard
or given more latitude and ‘rights’ to deny anyone else of theirs? The current pretend president of the USA has a
“Bully” pulpit to expound from and read his teleprompter and he does. The horde of adoring fans takes the cue and
    they are justified …
    Liberty? Really?Because
we were born somewhere, a government owns each of us and everything we produce is
theirs while we get to keep the portion they choose. Who sold us into this
indentured slavery and why? Jump out of this nonsense and you are a traitor or
worse. At any time for any reason, someone can decide you made a mistake or
change the rules retroactively and take what is now required. You promote an industry that requires people
to give up even more of their rights to participate. One must agree that at any time in the future
the company can change the rules, take your income or whatever else they decide
is in their best interest and you expect people to agree. All are justified bullying in my book and the
worst ones smile nicely as they turn the key.
I should write a book… If you were interested in making a
difference come up with a plan that would take the current industry, you offer
with such hope and joy, from a 1-5% success rate to at least 50%.Your training school won’t even begin to
break from the current designed guaranteed failure rate of 95-99%. A 98%+ success is possible once you shred the
current mindset, quit blaming the victims, eliminate and completely redesign
the DSA/DRA and build real opportunity with full partnership and an intention
100% succeed. Other industries are doing it; a few have already accomplished
it; why not network marketing/mlm? You
won’t however and you are justified in not risking your well earned life.
You cannot experience prosperity yourself if you are
actively trying to deny it to others.
    So, I suspect you
have not experienced real prosperity yet. Whether by intention or accident the
vast majority of people you teach and preach to have no chance at success or experiencing
prosperity.Very few humans have access to
the ability of free will but are mere robots. Current neuroscience says so. The
current methods, those you offer and promote only sift, sort and help select
those who may. The rest are entertained,
blamed for their errors, imprisoned or killed. You could say that is their
    right.
    What would a world
where no one is left out or left behind, a world that works for EVERYONE look
like?It is where everyone enjoys full
participation without discrimination or persecution [bullying, teasing, denigrating,
justification, etc]. The current design supports 99.99% paying the remainder.
1% get to appear to control the dance. The time this changes happens either on
purpose or otherwise. Whether four years or four centuries from now what myths
people believe today will be as laughable as you laugh at flat planet types now
while you declare the sun rises in the east and sets in the west.

  36. Clarity is the greatest asset, I've heard a trusted mentor quote on social media. Intuitively, that resonates with me on many levels.
as a "seeker of truth", experiencing a speech clarity issue, has been both frustrating and beneficial. Re; self image, realizing (experiencing) truth & mindset.
There's much intolerance AND much virtuosity in conversation, attitude & behavior..
Here's my point: I feel most "at home" and happy in my own skin as an individual, when I'm in conversation with people that are CONSCIOUSLY attracting prosperity consciousness..
It's a brilliant and courageous discussion. It elevates us all.
I believe you Sir Randy, when you say five billion people may have erroneous beliefs about sexuality..
..and the impact of those erroneous beliefs on the collective consciousness of people around the globe..
When the school curriculum is based on kids learning the fundamental principle of prosperity, as a foundation for commonality,. there'll be more prosperity across the globe than not and more enthusiastic celebrating/ honoring of human rights..
I anticipate this shift in the foundation of the school curriculum soon. This thought movement has great momentum; it's an idea who's time has come.
This discussion clarified truth for me in a monumental way.
Emotion weren't meant to "rule" the intellect. Rational, critical discussion is the way.

Thanks for bringing up this topic RG, as a prosperity student it's quite intriguing!
    Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou!

  37. I am a church going gal, but let's get real here people... I do not pick and choose scriptures from the bible to live by...I choose to live in the example of Christ. ...Love.
I am always amazed by my fellow Christians that want to pass judgement on others especially when the scariest scripture in the bible to me is:  Matthew 7: 1-2 Judge not, that ye be not judged.  For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
The way that we judge people is the way that we will be judged (according to the bible) ... so in judgement... we are condemning ourselves.
There are so many scriptures that do not apply to our human evolution at this time, for instance...
"I permit no woman to teach or have authority over men; she is to keep silent." Timothy 2:11 - This means that  thousands of female pastors/ministers preaching "the word,' must be put to death because they were supposed to learn the word in silence and not share it with anybody.  hmmmmmm.
"Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery." (Luke 16:18) - Considering 50% of Christians divorce...this means that Christians cannot remarry after divorcing and are now adulterous sisnners...hmmmmmm.

"But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart." (Matthew 5:28) - Well, this just wiped out the entire hetro-male population...can you say puberty? Nobody would have gotten past this scripture at puberty, let alone adulthood.... hmmmmm.

"But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head..." 1 Corinthians 11:5 - Ok, so we just wiped out the entire Christian female population...... hmmmmm.

"Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke [reason with] thy neighbor, and not suffer sin upon him. Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself: I am the Lord." (Leviticus 19: 17-18) - Ok, I don't know anybody Christian or otherwise that hasn't harbored some level of hatred, anger or disdain at some level for their neighbor/fellowman, and what if you are a sado-masochist... should I then treat my neighbor in like fashion and if I am not into the whole "50 shades of Grey" thing and my neighbor is treating me as they like to be treated then I am also committing a sin if I stop them from flogging me with their leather tethers because Christ clearly stated..."But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also." (Matthew 5:39) hmmmmmmm.

So, I will end my biblical diatribe with a quote, not from Christ, but from The Youngbloods... Come on people, smile on your brother, everybody get together, try to love one another right now.....(This is just my bleach-impaired 2 cents)
Bravo Randy! I love your brilliance and your bravery!

  38. Amen to that Mr. Randy! I would only add that ignorance of any kind can lead to the denial of human rights, and a lack of prosperity. Hopefully, we can argue someday again about what constitutes basic human rights. 😉

  39. @Bob Burg artjonak It's a great question, and a rock solid answer. We've seen a lot of ideological arguments (mostly, but not all, relating to religions and interpretation of religious writings) but none of them justify excluding any humans from what we deem to be human rights. If I, as a human, expect to have those rights then I must (one of the few absolutes I will allow myself) extend in word, deed, and belief, those rights to all humans.

  40. ArtJonak Randy_Gage I do agree!!! It's like being constantly in control and limiting a force that expresses itself in so many ways!

  41. ArtJonak Randy_Gage You cannot limit prosperity to your own needs and it's not only about money prosperity is wealth money beauty and more

  42. pandkenterprises I'm not a bible scholar.  But I know right from wrong.  I try to live my life in a way that I think would please my Father in Heaven.  I don't judge, but I do have an obligation as a disciple of Christ to call people to repentance and invite them to have their own personal relationship with Him.  If you have questions about the validity of any scripture, the existence of God or whether you should go to strip clubs, or lust after neighborhood girls, I would encourage you to ask Him yourself through prayer.  If your intent is pure, He will answer you.

  43. DixieDynamite artjonak Dixie, right on! In a sense, it all comes down to respecting the right of every individual to live their lives however they see fit in pursuit of their own happiness, providing they don't infringe upon the rights of anyone else to do the same. Seems to me that is the best and most effective way to create overall happiness, peace and prosperity.

  44. Randy, good for you! This is a really important discourse to have right now. This country (America) is on the precipice of a paradigm shift regarding homosexuality and sexual variations. It is happening rapidly, thanks to a lot of factors, but particularly the younger generation of Americans are well just more tolerant. I think soon, hopefully sooner rather than later, discrimination against sexual variations is coming to an end. At, least I think it will be illegal to discriminate against a person based on their sexuality. And, the only way to make attitudes change, especially in the middle age to older generations, is to speak out and have discourse as your blog has provided. To make a long story short, I think you are helping to change the world into a more tolerant and happy place, so thank you Randy.

  45. It's rather timely that I read your postcard, Randy, just hours after my next door neighbor told me that she is attending a niece's weeding this weekend. The ride's parents are refusing to attend because the couple does not practice their religion. How utterly tragic!

  46. Randy, important to talk about this topic, thank you.  Humanity is a tapestry of fabrics that sometimes doesn't match to our likings. However, we can learn to accept the different shades because we too are a mismatch to others.  It starts with each one being open to acceptance regardless of the fabric of our human costume/makeup. Indoctrination has created a society of hurt, hate and even wars.
View if you can: "Little by little, day by day, the more we talk about it, the less chance future kids will think to take their own lives."~http://www.upworthy.com/her-11th-birthday-was-the-first-time-she-said-she-didnt-want-to-live-she-left-on-his-21st?c=upw1

  47. @Bob Burg artjonak Totally in alignment Here is something I posted this past week. http://stevereports.com/2014/05/here-is-what-i-stand-for-and-what-about-you/

  48. Great points, Randy. I appreciate the fact that you brought up and stressed the science of it. This is the way we live life best --- rational thinking and employing tools like science. When we jump over the fence into religion, there is only personal perception and what we think is true based on feeling, emotion and other delusional areas.
Accepting others and giving them their right to live life as they want without harming others gives all of us the right to live as we want. If we deny life and liberty to one, we're denying it to others. At one time in history religious people believed that slavery was fine and they cited biblical references to support that position. Today we know that one person owning another is outrageous and will not tolerate it. In the same pattern of thinking, we see others who refuse to accept the sexuality of someone who doesn't follow what they perceive as "God's law." Perhaps one day humanity will embrace a more accepting, tolerant point of view here as well.
Thank you, Randy, for sharing this. Very important.

  49. As Napoleon Hill discusses, it's like attaching 2 batteries, in most powerful combination of Spiritual, mental and emotional for the most extreme abundance and power.
Thanks Randy, for your amazing discourse on this touchy topic!
    Terrific comments everyone!

  50. A lot of people think of revolution as a violent attack on certain pre-existing establishments. I imagine it more as a profound collective shift in the way we see, feel and act - in relation to ourselves and each other.
Randy, you are undoubtedly one of the human revolutions thought leaders. You offer up information and perspective which allows people an opportunity to assess themselves on the deepest of levels, and then - armed with better quality information and perspective, change the way they see themselves and others if they so choose.

  51. Great post, Randy! I really enjoyed it reading very very much 🙂 There are a lot of valuable and interesting information that really expanded my knowledge. The only problem with most people I believe is that they believe everything as you said: "has always been the socially accepted norm", not even start thinking and checking the facts!

  52. The fact that as a life coach you've taken time to educate people about sexuality and the diversity within it and for me as a gay blogger to write about the gay rights, marriage equality and freedom to marry speaks volumes of the fact that we've been conditioned by heteronormative society. How can society evolve if we fail to question about thousands of year old ancient customs and texts that represent nothing but fossilized orthodoxy?
It's amazing to witness that technology has evolved, yet majority of us fail to recognize that human rights, concept of culture, religion and other archaic institutions need to be reformed and should evolve with our thought process. While its great to hold on to certain traditions that don't judge or persecute others for being different, it's time for a CHANGE. I appreciate the fact that you've written about non-heterosexual relationships and that it's okay if you're not heterosexual. I still believe that minds of billions of people on this planet is mired with misconceptions and misinformation. With due respect to all faiths and religions, unfortunately, all RELIGION  has done for us in terms of mindset is to judge others harshly and accept the ones who adhere to the "cookie cutter" norm.
I find that despite living in America, the land of free, it's sad that LGBT is still struggling for their rights- basic human rights- to be respected as humans and not discriminated at workplace or society in general for who they sleep with.
I sincerely hope that your article reaches those people and act as a catalyst for modifying , if not transmuting their thought process.
Non-acceptance by society and family has had terrible repercussions on the lives of young LGBT members- Depression, drug dependency, low self esteem and suicidal tendencies etc. Ostracising and condemning someone for not being like others ("NORMAL") is the worst thing anyone can do.
On a personal note, I've been fortunate that my family, my parents accepted me when I came out at 15. They loved me and never made me believe that I was "FREAK" or that I should seek some "CONVERSION THERAPY", its sad when I hear about things that parents and family do to their LGBT kids. Also, I am  a staunch supporter of EQUALITY- Men women, Gay , straight, white, non white. We're all equal. Lets learn to accept, love and make this world a better place. #Peace #LOVE

  53. Those who condemn another’s sexual orientation
merely reveal the absence of depth in their own sexual
lives. Because when you have had the highest form
of sexual experience- one that is soul-sourced and
soul-driven- you immediately recognize that gender is
entirely irrelevant. The soul doesn’t care about body
parts. It simply loves what it loves. (~an excerpt from
    'An Uncommon Bond')

  54. If you want to know what is right and what is wrong, think about how you would feel a few seconds before your time on earth has ended - now there is perspective. Before that everything is an opinion based on whatever a particular person feels.

  55. The big question here is, is there such a thing as "sin"? If there is, then we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God and it's exactly why we all need salvation through Jesus.
If there is no such thing as "sin" then we can do whatever we want with no spiritual worries at all. Murder anyone, screw anyone or anything, and anything else horrible you can think up. Why would you have regard for anything at all except what you want?

No, there has to be boundaries of some type. Just where do we draw the line and by what standards?

Here's a bigger question: Who do you say Jesus is? Let's really examine who he is. A man only? Then what happened to his body after being placed in the grave and what about the eye witness accounts of seeing him after he was crucified? Examine closely the evidence given, and I believe you'll discover that Jesus is the Messiah and everything that Jesus and followers of Christ live for and die for are true. But don't take my word for it, examine for yourself.

    .

  56. Hmm.. Just A new title for an old article. Any reason for pushing that again ? I understand the point and i don't agree with it. (At least with some of the points.) Everyone experience on this planet is different and some things may be seen very different from Florida than Asia or Europe..

  57. After examining for myself, I've realized that your logic around the concept of sin presents two false alternatives: if sin exists, we are all sinners, and if it does not exist, we are all murderers. You also make the assumption that one cannot pursue their own interests and be moral at the same time.
I think you should also read the ancient Egyptian story of Osiris and realize they came up with a resurrection story, creation story, etc., long before Christianity. So how do we know which is true and which is false? What "evidence" do we hold as accurate? There are hieroglyphic inscriptions on scrolls and pyramids all over Egypt...yet most people hold polytheism as a totally ridiculous idea. But somehow the idea of a single god is held by millions of people. What's the difference?

  58. DexterBlack Hi Dexter,

I think you're missing the point and obscuring it with the need you feel to defend your savior.  The basic premise you're making here has nothing to do with the point of the post, which is that the human race has naturally evolved with people who are born with varying degrees of gender and this is a natural state of evolution (whether you believe it started with the big bang or a supernatural creator is irrelevant).

AS far as your argument that without "sin" or the Bible, people have no moral compass, that doesn't pass the logic test.  There are plenty of atheists who have no desire to kill people, even though they don;t have a holy book instructing them not to.  -RG

  59. Actually with all the news about Bruce/Caitlen Jenner, I thought it would help people to understand some of the science behind it. -RG

  60. DexterBlack So the only thing that's keeping you from murdering and raping people is you don't want to sin and offend a supernatural being?  You may want to get some psychological help.

  61. James_Carian There is no difference.  It is a delusional concept that there is a supernatural, male being watching our every move and is ready to punish us should we step out of line in the slightest (sounds a bit like Hitler or Stalin, doesn't it).  But humans are very delusional creatures, and they find solace believing in supernatural bullshit.  The problem is they never keep their crazy bullshit ideas to themselves.  They always want to force it on others by way of legislation or violent acts.  It is been that way since the beginning of human existence and will continue until humans wipe themselves off the face the Earth.

  62. I believe
    that most people have moral
    compass,
and conscience .The human being usually
    has the
ability to differentiate between good or evil.
The human being isn't evil from the time of his born,
    even when he is atheist

  63. Thank you Randy for your honest and informative post! I was raised to EMBRACE all human beings including all the differences that we have. That has served me well over the years. I have always thought that if we could teach people to substitute the word EMBRACE for tolerate, the world would be a kinder place!  Your work expands the consciousness of the people on the planet and for that I am grateful!

But more than anything his humour.  Few make me laugh like Randy Gage.
