Peace.  Calm.  Harmony.

Posted By: Randy GageJuly 22, 2019

As far as I can tell from Facebook and Twitter, it seems we are ten minutes away from the complete destruction of earth and the end of humanity.  In this time of political divisiveness, war, natural disasters, and disharmony in the world, remember that peace is always possible.  One of my favorite meditations is reciting “the peace song.”  Which leads with the words, “Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me.”

That looming deadline is not really that ominous.  The world will not end if your inbox is full.  And most of the stuff we think is earth-shattering – is actually pretty trivial in the big scheme of things.

When we center ourselves in peace, we radiate peace to those around us.  When we center in peace, we reach that inner harmony that makes life so wonderful and worth living.  And we inspire those around us to reach for peace as well.

Please envision peace for the outer world.  And envision our numbers growing.  This blog reaches people in 80 or 90 different countries.  When we all envision peace today, we create a collective consciousness that ripples all over the globe.

You in?

  1. Thank you. Yes... social media is mostly toxic, and I'm using it less and less -- mostly for business pages I follow. I'm definitely in.

  2. Been away from tech for a couple of days, hence catching up with the important stuff... Definitely in.

Juanita's comment about "toxic" is interesting. Perhaps it's the groups that I belong to in Facebook and LinkedIn, allied to the lack of looking at the "news feed" - which is rarely news - or the LinkedIn Home page, which used to be about uninteresting posts or sponsored sales posts, but I love social media for the many uplifting messages I see on there.

We could always use it wider to spread the mantra. In fact, I think I'll start that now - and see how many people think I'm weird, which is a reward of sorts...

Not the least of which comes from your good self of course...
