Nothing is Real Except the Eternal

Posted By: Randy GageJune 2, 2011

When you have a nightmare, it seems so real to you.  Even after you wake up, it takes a moment for your heartbeat and breathing to settle down.  It was a delusion of your senses that seemed quite real.  Anything that we would call evil is really the same…

Because evil isn’t an entity, but simply the absence of good.  Just as darkness cannot appear when there is light, evil cannot take hold when you are in love and light.  Darkness is not a thing.  It is simply the absence of the real thing, which is light.

The things you find undesirable pass away if you refuse to recognize them as reality by thought, word, or deed.   Nothing is real except the eternal; that is the way of your creator.

We talk about people being born with a “gift” as though this is something passed along from his or her parents, or the results of a certain environment.   But we all have a gift and it comes from the true power in the universe: Infinite Intelligence.

And this Infinite Intelligence does not favor one over the other…

It doesn’t say, “Mary is good, she gets a Ferrari, Bobby has been bad, he’ll have to settle for the Toyota.”  Infinite Intelligence does not withhold from you, any more than it would give someone a disease and someone else vibrant health.

When you really understand the power of this gift, nothing in the man-made world can stand against its power.  You are small or great according to the measure you receive it consciously.  The power you receive is in direct relation to your faithfulness in recognizing the source and affirming its manifestation.

You up for that?  If so, here’s your affirmation for today:

Infinite Intelligence is active in me now, manifested and made visible, in my body and all my affairs.

  1. I just thought of something reading this today!

"Everything is as real as I perceive it to be."

Maybe it is a quote from somewhere else but it just came to me now.

    Thanks Randy!!

  2. Wow, so true. We enter into many different trances, that's why everything has an "En-Trance" Your home, work, stores, etc. Nothing is real, except the eternal

  3. Randy, I am not sure if I totally understand this one. I think you are saying that we make our own reality by how much we allow our infinite spark to glow? If we manifest good positive things it is because we believe in God and good and live accordingly?

I think I agree with that. What we think and how we think and believe shape who we are. If we believe love is the way to be in the world then we will at least mostly be that personified.

However, about infinite intelligence not favoring one over the other. I whole heartedly agree. But, the reality is that some people are born with diseases and some are not. Some are born without certain limbs, or some are born developmentally disabled. Does this mean God loves them less? No. But, I think it certainly behooves all of us to remember that some have more obstacles to overcome in life than others or perhaps we do.

I am afraid if we go around believing everyone has the same and can have the same, that we are in danger of losing our compassion. Compassion for those who are different, or are not as equally abled.

We are all connected in our humanity. We are all pieces of God, or infinite intelligence, in that way we are equal. However, there is realistically inequalities in our abilities. That does not have to limit us, but it does make a difference.

      1. Yes, it is nicer to say different features; I like that.

Here is a hypothetical question. Do you think a person with an IQ of say 75 has the same probability as you to earn Millions? I am not saying I know the answer. I am just wondering what you think.

Let's say a brain injured person. What are their odds? The same as everyone elses or different?

My next question. So much so that prosperity is living in peace and love and joy. Does making lots of money matter for true prosperity. And like all things, couldn't it be relative. Some people may feel quite prosperous with much less, than what someone else might deem prosperous.

I don't know. I am glad you wrote this though, it is very interesting to think about.

        1. I think someone with a learning disability wouldn't have the same chance to earn millions, but could manifest prosperity in many other areas well, that I could not. Certainly prosperity is part of abundance, but there are many other facets of it.

  4. I am reading, over again, a book that compliments this blog subject. "Cracking the Millionaire Code", your key to enlightened wealth by Mark Victor Hansen and co author Robert Allen. I do believe this book reveals the new paradigm of enlightened wealth. Hope you take the time to read and apply it. I believe there is a direct correlation between the amount of abundance, in this application, money, and the size of your heart. You can't fool God and it does not take much research to realize that, to name just a few, Bill Gates, Oprah, Paul Newmann, were and are, incredible philanthropists. Begs the question, do you think God knew what these human hearts would do with the money? Wealth stays where true giving is present.

    1. I think you really mean well writing this post. It seems absolutely ignorant to me. To think that God gives money only to big hearted people? I mean is that what you are saying?

Do you really think all wealthy people are philanthropists? Do you really think God controls who has money and who doesn't?

I would say most people would say the opposite to wealth stays where true giving is present. It is an interesting way of looking at it.

      1. I do believe wealth is given eternally through creative idea's. There are all kinds of ways to make money that are not given eternally. I have seen more than not, when greed is the motivating factor, wealth can be given, but most always taken away along with the destruction of the person that created it with greed intention. And then there are the tither's that ask why they don't receive the blessings. They answer the question with their own. If it is not given from the heart, then it is not a blessing, it is an anticipation of reward, which is not a gift. Eternal wealth is created, in my strong opinion, by God and then and only then is it given by measurement of the heart. Measurement of the heart's intention, also equates to the increase of the manifesting. This wealth is eternal and goes forward through the person it is gifted to , to others. I know there are a million variables that can be debated about this. I can only speak from my own observation and experience, and that is that I am totally convinced that everything eternal is manifested by God, for God, good or bad, with the barometer being the size of the heart, and for his plan, which is beyond human understanding.

          1. I feel compelled to write one more thing. Not everyone receives their rewards here on earth. No doubt God has an incredible plan for those with the biggest hearts of all.

  5. Randy,
It's great to hear this reminder again. Getting caught up in daily life makes us forget that we are all connected to a higher source and all of us are able to create abundance in our lives.

  6. Thanks Randy, you remind me of how important it is to live in the now and surround yourself with positive emotions, this helps us to tap into infinite intelligence. Our sixth sense can be strengthened like a muscle and it is the gateway to infinite intelligence. When we slow down the chatter in our minds we open up the gateway to infinite intelligence.

  7. Hi Randy,

I like the questions in the comments.

Each person has God in them, or else they wouldn't be here. So people who *appear* to be stricken with some disease, or condition, are simply God in disguise, and the disguise may be more misleading in these folks than others. That being said....would you bet against God?

Since we can't possibly be in their mind we could never know what they are capable of. We only know they are God in disguise. So I wouldn't bet against them achieving anything anybody else could.

    Thanks for sharing!

  8. Randy, This is a great post.

I really resonated with the comment you made about evil being the absence of good and the darkness being absence of light. It's all contrast.

It is an interesting paradigm shift. Instead of going to war instantly, what if we focused that energy on expanding the good, light and love in the world. What could the impact be?

  9. Infinite Intelligence is the best gift we could receive. I wish everybody had at least an idea of how valuable and magnificent it is.

P.S.Randy, when are you going to sell some books in Spanish?? It would be great 🙂

      1. I live in Chile, and with my level of English I can understand the 80% without dictionary, so my reading would be much more fluid if the book were in Spanish.
