New Beginnings

Posted By: Randy GageJune 27, 2009

Life never stops giving us a chance for new beginnings.  Some of these we like and look forward to.  Like a new job, a new bike, or a new house.  And some of these we don’t want to see.  Like when we lose someone we love.

But as the cliché goes, “It’s all good.”

Every change that happens offers us new opportunities.  And if you focus on the potential instead of lamenting the past, there will be many wonderful new beginnings in your life.  Celebrate these and you’ll attract much good to you.

  1. Wow RG, you hit the nail on the head! Without one "amazing new beginning" I would have never gotten to know such amazing man! That would be YOU! Although some of my new beginnings were not what I wanted, like the loss of my mother and daughter, it is awesome to look back and see how God has used these situations to Bless my life in so many ways. I love New Beginnings! I have found, that they are exactly what you make them:)

  2. New Beginnings...
I feel that is the perfect description to where I find myself right now. I've had a wake up call, or let's call it what it really is...maturing. I've realized that nothing else really matters...it's just the menusha of the matrix trying to steal our dreams and if we buy that stuff well then we're stuck. I learned, no that's not the right word...I accepted the fact that it's my responsibility and it's my world it is and can be exactly what I see it as.

If I see it as full of problems, failures or dissappointments, then that's exactly what my world will be. However, if I see it as my world, I own it, I make the rules then it is always filled with the abundance because I wouldn't set the rules to be anything but in my favor.

The world isn't fair. Stuff happens that we may not like, but it's the moment that was special about it that is still the blessing even with all the pain. I now take responsibility. I now take charge. I now start that journey because there is no free lunch. Of whom much is given much will be expected. I'm up for the challenge of my new beginning. I pray each of you enjoys and accept yours.

  3. I think every thing that happens for us, is a new opportunity. it depends on our thought. if we look pessimistically, it would be bad, but if we look optimistically, it would be good and it will be a good opportunity for us. every thing happens on the power of God. but in those case that we cannot do anything to change it like losing family members is an event that happens on the power of God and I am sure that our God loves his creatures and every events is useful for us, but we should be smart and use these opportunities as well as possible.
    thanks Randy
    God bless you.

  4. RG-
You're right, life is simply a series of endings & beginnings and it's all about what I bring to the table with regard to my attitude. It's my level of attachment to the situation that determines my accpetance or reluctance of the particular beginning.

  5. HI Mehdi Jahanshahi,

it sounds good to hear Iranian comment in Randy site!

  6. When I face a situation or person that causes me to feel stress at any level, I say out loud and affirm "Only Good Comes To Me Now". This comes from Catherine Ponder (Dynamic Laws of Prosperity). Let me tell you when you retrain yourself to focus on possibilities instead of uncertainity, the world opens up at your feet. 🙂

  7. Thanks again for the timely reminder.
You are so right that we need to focus on where we go from here instead of I can't accomplish anything because of all the crap in my past.

We lost a true icon this week with the passing of Michael Jackson.
He proved that we can accomplish anything despite hardships of our past. It has been alleged for years by him and his siblings that they were brutally abused by their father.
This of course left it's scars on Michael, this being seen by his little boy idealism with no concept of the jaded cynicism the rest of the world seems to posses.
Through his music he wanted to change the world. In a small way he did. He inspired countless people to pursue their dreams no matter what.
Randy, you have a share in that. Despite the hardships you faced early on, you surmounted them and overcame obstacles to become the success you are today.

That is what I strive for.
Thanks for your insights and thank you Michael for all that you gave the world.

  8. Randy,

I see you have touched a soft spot in many people. What an awesome thing you have here.

At one point in my life change would stress me out MAJORLY. It is a joke now that changing my clothes caused me stress. It was not until I was 30+ that I learned to embrace change and seek the silver lining in each and every situation. God places nothing before us without a purpose.

I have taken these lessons written a book and have build a self-development business (Reclaim Personal Development Inc) so that other women can learn to reframe the adversity in their lives and move forward as empowered focused women.

New beginnings are available at all milestones in life. Thanks for keeping the word out there.
