More on What it Takes to Become Successful

Posted By: Randy GageApril 17, 2009

In yesterday’s post we discussed that pesky “become” part of the manifestation process.  It’s the most important element of creating a life of health, happiness, and abundance.

If you want to get things, it’s best to think about the kind of person that usually has them.

Rich people have become people who are good trustees of wealth.  Healthy people have become the kind of people who exercise and eat well.  Successful people are those who understand the need for offering value to others.

Why not take some time today and think about what you would like to get – and then what type of person you have to become to make that happen?

  1. Great point 🙂 I think I have a space to fill up at my manifestation map. I will do it now.

    Thank you for reminding me.

  2. You verbalized this maybe 2 years ago at an event I attended. I internalized this image of what I needed to become in order to reach toward success. I see the image of where I want to reach as where I am now. This is not an hallucination or that I am not, yet I see how people respond to me. I am projecting - emoting for the outside to respond and act upon. I have a list of acheivements that I have personally reached, financially, spiritually, etc. - that I acknowledge has grown from this concept of what I have to become in order to be successful. I accept it and that gives me great personal satisfaction. Real and profound. Randy your words are so valuable and so very worthy of repeating again and again.

    Thank you.

  3. Great food for thought for the weekend.

oh, how the challenges become just the simple stuff!!

    Thanks Randy!

And btw - Thanks for such an incredible time at your mega-mlm event and working with us through your cold! Your endless and selfless recommendations have been truly taken to heart. The event was definitely worth every penny!!!

PS -- I keep thinking of your rendition of explaining how Perry Chapin's music affects you! Priceless!!! You all HAD to be there for that!

  4. Ok, I'm working on updating my Manifestation Map right now!
By the way, is there anything else I should be thinking about when trying to represent a type a person I want to be on my MMaP?

    Thanks,

    Lucinda

  5. I am relatively new to your site and do not get the opportunity to tune in to all the information. I find your beliefs to parallel many of my own yet I wonder if I can realistically follow some of the infomation. I have been thrust into creating a new life map for myself and 2 sons by life's events and am confused by how my map should read. I was a stay at home mom for 8 years and am now a single working mom who is trying to enter the work world for the first time in a long while. My map seems to be full of unwanted detours and I really need to get it straightened out! Any ideas?

  6. Interesting. If you see what you want, you have to know what to become in order to have it. For example, the Olympic athlete, they visualize it, they eat and drink the dream of it, they put in the sweat-equity by training 8 to 10 hours a day, they make personal sacrifices, and finally they become ... the American hero they always knew they could be. And isn't it true too, you can see the pride and what it took for them to get there on their faces as they put that gold medal around their neck.
    Great inspiration!

  7. Hi Renee,

Your comment touched me.I don't think anyone can have a 'finished' life map. We are human and organic, constantly learning and changing.
My own map has been full of detours but I now see each detour even when sometimes painful, benefited me in some way.
Like you I have also started on a new career path, unlike anything I have ever done. It is turning out wonderful because it has led me to people like Randy who have helped me grow.
Just be patient with yourself. Love yourself (and others). Forgive yourself (and others). Smile and laugh alot.
    It helps!!

  8. Amazing thoughts.. I had read ur prosperity mind, accept abundance, 37 secrets and 7 spiritual laws for a long tym. It changed me a lot. I wish i could be rich in right way..not like what any movie programs for us. tnx
