Lust, Fantasy & Sexual Thoughts

Posted By: Randy GageOctober 26, 2009

The last few posts we’ve been looking at the cause and effect of your thoughts.  Which leads us to a very fascinating question:  Where do sexual thoughts lead us?

The human animal is one of the most sexually charged beings on earth.  A big reason for that is our ability for conscious thought.  Which we like to think we alone possess among the creatures on earth.  And who knows, that may even be true.

In any event, that conscious thought gives us the ability to fantasize, imagine and conjecture.  (If I can use conjecture as a verb.)  And those possibilities can be quite tantalizing, and dramatically increase our sexual energy.  Which is one of the most powerful forces at your disposal.

So what do we do with this force?  Can it be controlled?  Is that repression?  And if so, what does repression lead to?  Are sexual thoughts healthy, or against our highest good?  Please give all of this some thought and check in below.  Then I’ll give you my beliefs on all this in the next post.

  1. -RG,

    What's on your brain today?

"Can it be controlled?" Yes, those thoughts can be controlled. We do it all the time if we didn't nothing would get done.

"Is that repression?" No, it's control. We can control a conversation or a thought or we can repress it.

The difference between the two as I see it is control is healthy and repression is an unhealthy way to deal with "life".

  2. I can only speak for myself, but I believe sexual thought are not only helpful, but provide a great energy that we can channel. Since I'm single, I may have too many of these thoughts, though I feel it's unhealthy not to have them.

I use this energy for many purposes be they work, pleasure or otherwise. I also find I'm more inclined to be friends or intimate with those who have a healthy sexual mind, too. As the saying goes, "Great minds think alike!"..

    My two cents.

    Thanks RG

  3. My guess is you'll have guys posting on this talking about their "sexual thoughts" as they have how many in a day??? That's a lot of energy to channel!

The majority of woman with family, kids, job etc. are in survival mode in the "doing" of life and don't have these sexual thoughts...such a disconnect that exists! We find it amazing to think guys must manage those thoughts all day long! Yet, the beauty of it is the ENERGY!

When managing woman and men in business makes one think about the differences in thought processes!

  4. We can use this force i believe to anchor in our mind the objects of our other desires or dreams or plans like money, success, health in addition to sexual satisfaction while doing the act of it. I have been doing it quite a while, I like it. I just did last night, hehe...

It is pure pleasure or ecstasy that give life to our thoughts...I love this discovery...thanks you bro Randy!!!

  5. You know,
It's too bad women don't give in to this more. We women tend to be so involved with family work, etc. that we allow all of that to take over our minds and ourselves. I think along with meditation, women should allow a good sexual fantasy or two to enter our minds at least, at the very least once a day. It can do a person good then to take that energy and channel it, even if it means channeling it to get the laundry done! L.O.L. Once you get on a regular schedule of it then you can start channeling that energy to do some real good like finally pursuing some long put aside dreams.

Let's go for it ladies! Let's show the guys how it's done!!

    Woo hoo,
Fantasizing my way to realizing my dreams,

  6. What can we do with this force? Well, we can obviously expend it through amazing sexual experiences but then as your next questions asks, it can also be chanelled into non-sexual activities, which requires a lot of self-control and maturity. I would have to say that sexually charged people have a very attractive energy, even in a professional setting. I wouldn't call that repression, although I know that some people do repress this desire. A friend of mine is an ex-Jehovah's Witness, and he was telling me when he left that religion that certain sexual acts are forbidden. I always figured that if I liked something and my partner liked something, it really didn't matter what anyone else thought. Letting someone else's thinking, or religion in this case, get in the way of your sexuality is, in my opinion, repressive and I think that that would lead to huge frustration and dissatisfaction in life.

  7. The ladies are sounding very nun like here! Is it an American thing? Us Europeans are highly sexed and fantasizing daily. Or... it could just be our way of living with the rain... or perhaps I'm showing my age. Women over 30 seem to be less sexually repressed as far as I can make out.

Think and Grow Rich is the book to read about channelling sexual energy right Randy? Also there is that thing of holding it back like Athletes or something so it is channelled and not destructive.

  8. Thoghts are energy and sexual thoghts are powerfull energy.
We can channel it to positive or negative, in both cases it's powerfull energy with powerfull results.

From my perspective positive sexual thoght or fantasy is about the passion to give for someone we love.

  9. In Buddhism there is the idea of | Right Sexual Conduct |
If one wants to be happy he needs to find balance with self discipline.
Also to notice where is it coming from? If it comes from boredom (habit) then it contributes to habitual behavior, being controlled by lust, thus leading to suffering ~ But when comes out of love or good will, with respect, in a balanced way thus turns away from suffering, leads to happiness.

  10. Randy (no pun intended!!!),

I just got reminded of that guy Napoleon Hill who wrote about the transmutation of sexual desire to achieve your goals. Attitude is chosen and yeah I think thoughts can be controlled. I just came across a guy who is writing a blog about losing everything in life and he has set himself a goal to be a multi-millionaire by 2011 http://millionaires-journey.blogspot.com/ his attitude is inspiring and a real example of choosing your thoughts. The reason I mentioned this guy is because he had mentioned how you inspired him a few years ago! Keep up the awesome work Randy!

  12. But is transmutation of sexual desire really physically healthy in anatomy terms? I read it might increase the chances of prostate cancer? Anyone know about this? Obviously overdoing the other stuff is not healthy either!!!

  13. The body is run by 3 drives:survival, social and sexual. There are Nine different fixations (genetic dispostitions) and each fixation tilts to one main drive.
The Nine fixations are group into 3 main groups:Anger points,Mental Points, and Emotional Points.
Sexual subtypes are very easy to spot because they have more plumemage. If you are interested in finding more about the drives, there is a great book:The Ennegram:From Fixation to Liberation by Eli Jaxon-Bear.
    Randy is a sexual subtype!!!

  14. The sexual energy is a powerfull basic instinct - I guess - so it is not easy to transform-transmutate-channel - what ever- to any other form of energy ? - so how do we succeed in that ?

  15. I saw some comments above referecing Think and Grow Rich and the chapter on sex transmutation. It's an energy just like everything else in the universe. It all depends on how it's harnessed, that is, how strong your willpower is.

Channel it and you have magnetism and drive. Let it run wild and you become like an animal.

There's real creativity in sexual energy if properly directed.

  16. Ok, ok- I don't buy the whole "Transmutation" of your energy thing, because it assumes that the exual desire and sexual energy is a BAD thing to begin with. I don't think it is.

Moreover, I was kinda serious about it when I said it was the only reason I got up this morning. I mean, most men will admit that the only reason they do things is to impress some girl. As the song says:
"You can bet he's always doin' it for some gal..."

I'd rather we didn't have all of the sexual taboos and that we didn't look down on sex like we do; I think we'd have a much healthier world, and our energy wouldn't be repressed as it is- instead we could explore our feelings more honestly, and enjoy each other much more.

  17. Rachel, brava! The first reaction I observe when thinking about sexual thoughts and energy is a great big smile.

I'm not so sure that sexual energy needs to be transmuted. It's pure energy. I don't have to deny my sexual energy and thoughts in order to use that energy to my advantage in other parts of my life or focus.

I don't know about others, but I know my sexual thoughts are quite healthy and I do use it in other instances aside from sex itself.

I become more courageous, fear dissipates, and I am able to direct that energy into laserbeam accuracy on whatever it is I'm working on.

  18. Randy,

I believe that sexual thoughts are derived within all of us naturally. Whether these thoughts come about by something visual, or a passing memory of our last good lay 😉 brought about by either a simple daily conversation, a commercial, a motorcycle passing by, flipping through pictures, or a mention of a particular persons name.

These thoughts could lead us to many things. Like, looking up someone for a reconnection, frustration, tension, perhaps even anger or depression, most of all masturbation (thats right, I'll say it! Masturbation is natural and healthy... and hey it feels good too). This would depend on each persons situation though. Are you single or do you have a partner?

Can this be controlled? No. If you choose to try to control these thoughts or feelings within you it will only cause a disrupt in your life. Sexual thoughts are a powerful force not to be reckoned with. Repressing the urge for sex is unhealthy. Here try this... the next time someone tells a joke and you feel the urge to laugh, don't. If a mosquito bites you and it itches, don't scratch it. If you feel hungry, don't eat. How would that be healthy for you? Would it feel natural? Or would you tend to feel somewhat out of control?

Sexual thoughts are of the most healty and natural of all thoughts, next to the thought of needing to eat. All other thoughts that dilute our minds are of only the world around us. The thought of... I need to wash my car, pay a bill, go to work, put gas in the car... etc...

Give into your animal instincts, it is nature, it is natural. Enjoy your sexual thoughts, share them with your partner, or use them for fantasizing.

Make the world a happier place and don't repress!

    Jamie 😉

  19. I think, sexual thoughts are great, when it pure and the human didn't step over the border. Because, I saw a lot of times people, who use their sexual potential in a bad way, when it leads to lust, thoughtlessness and degradation. When sexual partner replace another one through the couple days, when relations means just a sex and nothing more, when sexual crimes are happen, etc.

But, there is another side, good and beautiful. It's healthy, love-meant, power-giving and energy-purifying sexual relations. It happens when a beautiful guy and a beautiful girl sincerely love each other. When they always looking for a harmony in their relations, and when they are supplement each other.

So, what about sexual thoughts of guy or girl who haven't a pair. Of course they may have some thoughts of this type about someone. But only then, if this thoughts would be for the best for this person, it will works goodly. How it can be predicted? With deep analysing of your thoughts - when it leads to some repression, it bad. When it leads to thoughtlessness, it also bad. But when it allow you to feel better in high conscious level - it good.

The main thing, which allow you to understand, in which way some thoughts or actions connected with a sex could be led, can be determined in a such way - ask yourself if all of this thing, all of this sexual thoughts means prosperity for you.

I join the question, Randy, are you single or do you have a partner?

    Thanks, Krono, Ukraine.

  20. I am a female and I can actually orgasm from a thought or fantasy and by God it sends electric shocks through me and my knees weak!

Yes I tend to agree that most women do have 'responsibility' on their mind but there are a few of us out there that I assure you, have very high and healthy sex drives.

Yes I use the thoughts of fantasy to supercharge my energy. I have found that sex energy has been such an important part of my life that I am now teaching about it.

Sex energy enabled me to empower and supercharge my life in many ways. My physical energy increased, I used this to enhance my fittness. My creativity soured and I have just published my first book.

Success and sex energy is directly linked and of course the ability to use the power of the mind to focus that energy into productivity and not pornography.

    Cheers!

  21. Krono, if you are refering to the question I asked. Are you single or do you have a partner? I was just asking this in general, to everyone. Because these thoughts are acted upon very differently when there is a partner involved as opposed to not having one. The overall feeling of need or craving for sex becomes a different ball game.

    No pressure Randy =)

    Jamie

  22. My creator, God, created sex. I trust his judgement, his principles, his commandments & his values in this subject. Song of Solomon is a very sensual book of the Bible. There is another book, Come Away With Me My Beloved, written by Christian counselors that every married couple should read yearly.

Since I have been divorced / single for 15yrs, I choose to practice abstinence until marriage. This is my choice as a mom, a friend, a mentor, & a leader of other christian singles. I have chosen not use, "channel" or "trans mutate" my sexual energy to manipulate the opposite sex. I can't place myself in that temptation. Maybe I need to re-read, Think & Grow Rich!

I do not live in the sweet bye & bye, but in the nasty now & now. I know others have their own opinions on this subject. All I know is why I believe what I do & can't judge anyone else. I will only answer to God, not anyone else!

Call me prude, old fashioned, narrow minded, whatever.....it is a discipline & conviction I hold dear. Who knows???? Maybe someday my husband will honor my choice!

  23. eat - sleep - sex : all things every species must do to survive. (okay maybe not sharks, some of them do not sleep, but they do rest) but I hope you get my point. These things are only natural. To think of eating, sleeping, and having sex are only mandatory for survival. (But hey, we can sure as hell enjoy it, mandatory or not ... heheheh =)~ Everything else in life is not mandatory, but in our society now, away from the caveman days other things have become mandatory... okay sorry I am totally going off point now.... =)

  24. Napoleon Hill seemed to describe sex as if its a bad thing, meant to be repressed. I don't think it should be. Just controlled and used in its right context. The "Channeling" of this urge isn't to manipulate the opposite sex. Its basically using that drive to do other things, which isn't such a bad thing, depending on how you look at it.
Just my 2 cents! We can each interpret the Bible in our own way.

  25. I'm joined the question you asked, because I wanted to ask this question earlier 🙂

I have a partner, and I agree with you about different acting of thoughts in this cases. But I'm also included in my post the part of experience, which I had when I was single.

  26. I see, Randy don't want to answer this question, so I can't insist, and will lead this question alone. I agree with Jamie - no pressure, and I didn't want it.

  27. What a fascinating topic. 😉 I love sexual energy, there really is nothing quite as delicious a feeling. How it's manifested is definitely managed though but I don't find any difficulty channelling it to get non-sexual results. And because it's such a life-giving energy - the experience of using sexual energy daily for achieving goals is a joyful & fun one for me. I don't do repression very well so my personal mantra has always been simply "honor thy feelings." feel, acknowledge, and then decide how to act on them. it's been good...xoxo

  28. I believe that many of us have seriously confused our natural sexual state.

Our conscious minds have interrupted out natural sexual drives & patterns - as they are bombarded by marketing messages, social values and religious ideas that all try to tell us what is 'sexy' (or why sexy is bad).

I tend to think sexual thoughts more when I am bored - or not actively engaged in something productive. It seems to be a replacement for stilling my mind - and to that degree I sometimes feel like I shortchange myself.

What if we were to take Napoleon Hills advice and, instead of becoming slave to every sexual thought or desire, take that energy and fold in inwards...and find that higher state. I certainly have felt more powerful in the past when my many thoughts, whims and actions have had discipline applied to them.

I think the key is to enjoy feeling sexy without having to 'do' something about it - or admire someone sexuality, without having to feel like we have to conquer them (that one's mainly for us guys..). To some degree - the more one is present to our natural state, the more sexy we become. Coincidence? Me thinks not 😛

  29. Hello Randy
    This Energy is powerful.
There are times throughout the month that increases and decreases. The moon regulates the energy flow.
Start at the New Moon phase and the energy slowly increases
until you reach the full moon. Your mind and body can not receive any more additional energy so it slowly declines back to the New moon phase. There are 2 weeks of building energy and 2 weeks of releasing energy.
The energy before the full moon is very important to control if you do not have a partner to release the build up of energy.
You must do things that are physical to release energy.
    Thanks
    DG

  30. I'm a woman, married with a business and two active children. I think about sex all the time.

Seriously, if you're too busy to think about sex, you're probably too busy.
