Living in Accord with Universal Law

Posted By: Randy GageJuly 13, 2011

Every thought you have, statement you make, or act you perform will bring about a result in exact accordance with its nature.  It works that way all the time, with no exceptions.  Because this is universal law.

Loving thoughts produce harmonious conditions.  Spiteful thoughts create discord and negative energy.  We reap what we sow.  Yet how often do you see someone trying to outsmart the universe?

Think of the fundamentalists who express disdain, or even hate and violence to those not of their faith.  Then they pray for peace, prosperity, and redemption.   But the only way to receive peace, prosperity and redemption – is to disseminate peace, prosperity and redemption.

Call it Infinite Intelligence, universal law, or divine order.  But know that whatever label you choose, it does not change for man, for that would mean the perfect would have to become imperfect.  Man must change for universal law, because then the imperfect becomes perfect.

And that is the perfect demonstration of living in accord with universal law!

P. S.  I’m loving my new place here in Sydney.  Got my balcony furniture and WiFi hooked up, so I can work looking out over Hype Park, with the Opera house and harbor in the distance.  But it’s winter down under and it’s been very chilly and gray.  So I’m looking forward to going to Kuala Lumpur later today.  I’ll check in from there.

  1. Hey Randy!

Love the fact you're here in Sydney :o)

Love your blog, love the fact that I've listened to you for years and now am tickled you're in the same city I live in!

Maybe shortly I'll meet you in person ;o)

  2. Great post Randy!
I think this perfectly relates to your last post. You have to accept things the way they are otherwise you only spread your negativity. And that will sooner or later fall back to you.

  3. We do reap what we sow and unfortunately we also reap what we don't sow. If I throw weeds in my neighbor's garden or if I drive drunk and hurt someone the other reaps the result of my actions and, I would argue, they sowed nothing.

Some argue that no matter what happens to you, you brought it on yourself. I can't quite go there. A freak storm destroying your house or an infant born with alcohol fetal syndrome are not the results of you or the baby 'sowing' something. Someone or something else did the sowing.

This is where any thinking that you can create your own idyllic world in isolation really falls apart. We're in this together for good or ill, like it or not. We are constantly sowing positives and negatives in each other's gardens. Humans (and the US government in particular) have never quite learned that. That's why the admonition to love others as you love yourselves is so critical. Now if we could only love ourselves more...

    1. Just one point, a baby born with fetal alcohol poisoning would have to get that from a mother who drank too much--the mother would have done the sowing in that instance....I know of no other way to get that.....

    2. Yes, there is the collective consciousness that we all have to protect ourselves against, especially in this day and age.
Regarding the baby with alcohol fetal syndrome, maybe, just maybe, the infant chose that path prior to incarnating into this lifetime for its own journey or as a role in another's journey. And some times a freak storm is just a freak storm. Shit happens. Our greatest and ultimate freedom is that we get to choose how to respond. No one can take that from us.

  4. Hi Randy,

a lot of food for thought in this post, as short as it is.

Thoughts are things - this is one of the basic teachings in "Think and grow rich", is it not ?

And most people are not even aware of it and get angry regarding their results, producing new negative thoughts and negative results by it.

    Thanks for sharing your insights.

    Take care

    Oliver

  5. Great post today Randy - good points and more and more i'm learning and seeing just how love is the fuel that feeds everything in my life...for without love there is nothing - thank you for your wise words... (((o)))

  6. some thoughts we may not be aware of... but looking at our lives we may become aware of...

I'm taking a course about miracles... what did you learn about God and miracles between 5-7 years old? when is it ok to ask for a miracle? Was your God angry? did you need to hide? Are you always in survival mode? fight or flight?

affirm: I am safe. I am secure.

    1. Do we argue with God/Universal laws without realizing it?

not forgiving... because we are right... no matter what God says...
judging instead of loving and believing we are right... and supporting others who do the same?

drama... wasting emotions/wasting time (just heard this one on a time/life management call)

  7. Randy didn't just make this stuff up!!! These teachings were taught by many of the greatest minds there have been!! We are fortunate to have the real deal (Randy) to teach us and help us to learn to USE our minds! Thank You Randy ... No BS here!!!

  8. Nothing new in all what you say Randy, but there is a bit of truth when you say that "then the imperfect becomes perfect."
The real problem though is that Man is a perfectly created IMPERFECTION!

  9. Hi Randy,

First things first: enjoy your new place! Sounds beautiful. As for the weather, it's a little bit o' contrast 😉 Steamy and balmy here in Phnom Penh, which beats the blizzards we had in the Northeast U.S. this past winder.

Universal order is perfect. We play by the rules of the Universe. Try to disobey the rules, you get burnt. Try to work out of harmony with the rules, you suffer.

You can't outsmart God. You can't outsmart Perfection. One of the chief delusions of an egotistical, deep thinker, is this: they know that they know, instead of knowing that they don't know.

When you're willing to model your every act so it originates from a high energy place, you are just beginning to live in harmony with Universal. Heck, you won't know the first thing about why certain things happen, but you'll know Who's in charge, and how to work with the General Manager of the Universe.

The fighters continue to create new battles for themselves. The lovers, get love. Live in harmony with the Law as much as possible, let go the moments you fight Law, and life becomes simple, easy.

It does, because the Universe does all the heavy lifting for you. You were for, instead of against, and you obeyed a basic law which so many resist, because their big ole' ego, says so.

I'm only realizing now how deluded I was, and how much my delusions arise now, when I attempt to live according to Universal law, moment after moment. It's fun, uplifting and a continual learning experience, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Because it's perfect, and I'm just learning to see the perfection through my cloudy human judgment.

Thanks for sharing your deep insight Randy.

    Ryan
