Linking Thought and Purpose

Posted By: Randy GageAugust 21, 2011

There may be no stronger creative force in the world than thought allied with purpose.

Once you really know this, you are ready to unleash the awesome power of your potential.  Once you really do this, you become your potential.

  1. I love how you publicize wonderful guidance in just a sentence or two. You are a great teacher and example Randy. Thank you.

Definite Major Purpose is the theme of Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. I highly recommend studying and restudying that book and Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude by Napolean Hill and W.Clement Stone.

  2. Outstanding! You have the gift of speaking and writing. Am delighted and grateful our paths crossed remote controled wise. Thanks vm

  3. Love it - Victor Hugo shared such an idea -

"No army can withstand the strength of an idea whose time has come."

  4. Short, sweet and packed full of wisdom. Thanks RG!
"Until thought is lined with purpose, there is no intelligent accomplishment" ~James Allen
I begin all my teaching calls by reading that quote and then asking everyone to take a minute and write down what their purpose is for being on the call. Makes such a difference when we declare our purpose for whatever it is we're doing.
PS. I agree with Michele 🙂

  5. Short - sharp - and right onto its point!
This is a typical and also sophisticated "less is more" statement.
I am sure your readers want more of that -
    enjoy the day.

  6. The mission, Mr. Phelps, should you decide to take it is to: (fill in the blank). This message will self destruct in 15 seconds.. 15, 14, 13...

OK, well humor is part of my purpose as is empowering people through entertainment and creative thinking. It's also the mission of my company whose slogan is "Entertainment with Purpose". I thought you might resonate with this since in some ways, you Inform with Purpose, Randy. Anyway thanks for posting. As always your reminders are inspirational.

  7. I think purpose is what most people missing in life.
Many wanna become an online marketer to make money but they don't really give a rat's ass about the people they are trying to serve.
    They are after the $.
Find your purpose means find something that makes your heart sing. It's your passion. Something that you would do even if you had all the money you want.
