Leadership with Integrity

Posted By: Randy GageNovember 17, 2009

Nothing drives me nuts more than speakers, consultants and trainers promoting things they have no experience in.  And maybe nowhere is this more prevalent than books on leadership.  There must be 50 a year cranked out, and a lot of them by people that have never led anything other than the line to the buffet.

But it’s always exciting to see a new book on leadership with great content, written by someone that gets it and has really done it.  That’s the good news today.

There is a new book by Randy Pennington titled, “On My Honor, I Will: The Journey to Integrity-Driven Leadership.”  Randy is one of my running buddies from the National Speakers Association (NSA), so I’ve had the opportunity to really know what he is about.  And that is leadership.

Like most associations, NSA has lots of politics and turf battles.  And Randy has always risen above all that and led by example.  He’s been a real beacon of true leadership, by leading the foundation and other efforts.  He’s got great biz credentials and knows how to lead.  It’s such a cliché to say someone walks their talk, but that’s what Randy is about.

So I was very excited to learn of his new book.  I got to read a galley copy and it’s very good. It shows you how to influence others through a leadership style that models integrity and honor.   Get the book now and Randy is offering a gift to say thank you for helping him spread the word.

Go to http://www.onmyhonorbook.net and click on the button that says “Gift With Purchase.”

After you place your order with Amazon, return to the Gift With Purchase page and enter your order number in the space provided.  You will receive an email from Randy Pennington with the link to download your gifts.

Then after you get the book, please check back and let me know what you think.

  1. Thanks Randy, I am always looking for great leadership books. I love to read and learn different ideas from great leaders.

  2. Thanks Randy. I received your book and I am starting to piece together all the different pieces to make the puzzle.
I will get this book too.

  3. I found it kind of interesting that the number of comments on this post was far lower than most any other posts. We need more great books on leadership that talk about integrity, values driven leadership and the like. Thanks for pointing out a winner.
