Jesus Is Coming - And He Looks Pissed

Posted By: Randy GageDecember 25, 2010

To celebrate my Christmas morning, I rode my bike along the chain of islands on the Venetian Causeway.  I stopped afterward at the park, and just laid on the ground, sucking a blade of grass, taking in the earth energy.  It felt like I was communing with God.  Which of course, I was.

It got me thinking about the real spirit of the holiday.  The fundamentalists will say that Jesus is the reason for the season, but not sure I’m really buying that.

There are a lot of posts on Twitter today from people of all faiths wishing a Merry Christmas to their Christian friends.  I wish more Christians adopted that kind of acceptance.

Not sure if Pat Robertson has a Twitter account, but if he did, I could imagine this tweet from him:  Merry Christmas 2 all my Christian friends.  And the rest of U are going 2 rot and burn in Hell with gnashing of teeth!

Reminds me of a conversation I have last week with my friend Theo Androus. He’s writing a new book with a working title, Christ, In Search of a Christian.  We were discussing all the exclusion, hate, and intolerance passing as Christianity today.  Unfortunately this is prevalent in most faiths.

The fundamentalists have hijacked the message…

This attitude of ‘we have the only way and everyone else is going to get left behind,’ is certainly not the real message of Jesus.  Nor is it the real message of Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, Zoroastrianism, Shinto, Confucianism, Taoism, or other major religions.

Organized religion is filled with doctrines and dogma, and the fundamentalists seem to get sidetracked with all that.  But the essence of religion – spirituality – is actually quite simple and basic.

Confucius taught that enlightenment came from perfecting five virtues.  He expressed them in one: Reciprocity.  Buddha taught enlightenment came from eight virtues.  And he reduced these down to one:  Compassion.

Tao, or the path, teaches that people are good by nature, and that one should be kind to others simply because. Zoroastrians dedicate their lives to a three-fold path represented by their motto: "Good thoughts, good words, good deeds."

The Jews also believe in the inherent goodness of the world and its inhabitants.  They see everyone as creations of God who do not require a savior to save them from original sin.  True followers of Shinto desire peace and believe all human life and nature is sacred.  The five pillars of Islam would bring anyone closer to peace.  Hindus seek salvation in selfless acts and thoughts

And contrary to what some of the TV evangelists would have you believe, Jesus reduced everything to the principle of love.  I have to believe if he came back today, he would be shocked, saddened and angry at what is being said and done in his name.

Let’s forget about the dogma, doctrines, and differences, and celebrate the similarities.  Reciprocity, compassion, good, peace, love.  Those are the real season for the season!

  1. I heard someone say once, when I was a little girl, that when all the "Christians" get to heaven they are going to be really shocked to see who all made it. Since then I have come to understand that it is not about your denomination or even your religion, but it's about what is in your heart. So very many have lost sight of that and think God is all about religion. But Jesus said true religion is taking care of the widows and orphans. So I have to wonder... how many of us are taking care of the less fortunate and showing our true religion.

  2. Randy, are you familiar with Emmanuel Swedenborg? He teaches that all churches(that is all religions worldwide, not just Christians) are a combination of God and man. God provides the truth, man provides the falsity. He teaches that it does NOT matter what religion you believe. It matters if you try to do good and learn about God.

  3. Right on my friend!

I spent years pushing against organized religion of the Christian variety for the very reason you state here. As a 13 YO kid when I was set to join my Methodist Church - I asked my preacher how anyone could say a Buddhist holy man sitting on a mountain praising God could go to hell because he wasn't Christian. I almost got booted out of the church for that one before I ever joined. As a result - I began to push against the religion because of what I perceived as the egotistical rules hat were certainly not from my God.

Through the years I've mellowed on that front. I've come to believe that so many of the Christian rules were created by man - to control those around him (or her). When I study the Bible, compare its deep lessons to Taoism or Buddhism or the many other religions I've studied - I find the same lessons. Only the interpretation is different.

For years I pushed against the word God - because of my associating God with Christianity. I believed in the universe, Source, Spirit - but God was a judgmental guy sitting with the Christians.

Today thats all changed. In recent months I've had the magical fortune wto reconnect with my God - the true God - not the one man has invented.

My God is a loving spirit who views all of us as perfect and beloved, not as flawed and lacking. My God empowers all of us with the creative power to manifest the life of our dreams because that's what we are meant to do in this lifetime - to become the best version of ourselves - with God's blessing and support.

I'm blessed to have found my God again. My life is changing because of my return to my true God's power. Today I am embraced in the wings of angels and the love of Spirit/Source/Universe and God....as I walk forward in faith for 2011.

Blessing randy - as always, you're right between the eyes when we so need it!

xoxo and best wishes for a fabulous holiday season!

    1. Wow, Rebel, I LOVE your take on this.

From a staunch cultural background, and a religion full of 'traditions' rather than a spiritual connection to God, it has been a difficult journey for me. Like you, I have felt a connection to the God of which YOU speak. Seems as if we are 'soul' sisters on the same journey and it's no accident we found Randy on our path. 😉

    2. Whilst I empathise with you all, it is very important that we understand the true nature of God and not all religions teach the same thing or agree on this, this is the "fundamental" point. Are you sure you are not making God in your own image? If we all really care about this truth of a loving, compassionate, merciful God is it not up to us to join, engage and debate with those who see otherwise to understand why they think as they do? God, by the way does point out that there are consequences to our actions - he is a God of Juustice also and has set up "cause and effect" to ensure justice.

    3. Reb~
Yes, Yes so true. I also had an amazing connection w/ God that changed my life. God loves us - period. He loves us like we are His only child. He wants us to be happy, healthy, prosperous, all of our dreams to come true, just as we want this for our own children. And He wants us to know that we are more than capable and worthy of having all of that and more! He is ready and waiting for us to take leaps of faith so that He can show us how much we are loved by supporting us and catching us as we leap. I love to connect w/ people who've had the same experience. It's such an amazing healing love - everyone on this planet deserves to FEEL that LOVE.

Just a note though - I belong to a church that's a part of a major religion. And yes I don't believe w/ everything that's taught, but I have a feeling that would happen in any faith I'd choose. I choose to focus on the good, and realize these are people that are doing extraordinary things in our community to support those in need - which brings God joy.

Sending love and light to ALL.
      Linda

  4. THE REAL REASSON FOR THIS CELEBRATION IS NOT PEACE,LOVE,ETC...THE REAL REASSON IS "YOU", "ME" AND EACH INDIVIDUAL PERSON. JESUS WAS BORN BECAUSE OF US...CELEBRATE THAT WITH LOVE,WITH PEACE,ETC... FELIZ NAVIDAD,AMIGOS!!

  5. PBS had a great show on Buddha this week.. check it out at http://www.pbs.org and it's on youtube as well, it's a great story... every bit as interesting and spiritual as Jesus... one thing I got out of it was turn greed into generosity, anger into compassion, ignorance into wisdom....

  6. Religion is for people who believe in hell. Spirituality is for people who've been there.

Many problems in the world have been caused by religion but spirituality is what makes the world a better place.

    Merry Christmas everyone!

    1. Eloquently and well-stated, Mike! I'm with you 100% on that one. I am a Christian ("recovering Catholic") but I loathe organized religion because, as you state, it has been the cause of so much hatred and destruction. Compassion, acceptance, non-judgment are the tenets I try to live by. So many of my "Christian" friends who belong to organized religion attack mock, and belittle anyone who has a belief system, value system, or lifestyle different from theirs. That kind of omnipotent attitude among many followers of organized religion makes me sad.

  7. What a spot-on post Randy and an excellent remark by Rebel. I have questioned my Catholic faith for a few years now but never that a higher being existed.

It is about compassion, love, paying-it-forward and being "one with the universe"!

Merry Christmas Day one and all!

  8. We should also recall that the established church (Pharisees) were always trying to catch Jesus out by their dogma.
Am not against "organised" religion per se but Christ's message was one of love and tolerance to ALL people.
I had a friend who said to me "All wars are caused by religion" - my answer was "How many wars have been prevented by religion?" Also it's PEOPLE who cause wars! Some of the fundamentalists use "religion" as their excuse for fighting.
Thanks Randy and a very Happy Christmas to you!

    Robert

  9. Hey Randy,
I think "Merry Christmas", when spoken to someone, to me just means, have a good and special day, and take time out to reflect and be with those you love you and who love you. What other day in the year is allotted for that in North America? Thanksgiving maybe, but we say "have a good Thanksgiving" and no one bats an eyelash, even though it's the beginning of the whole holiday season-- and the same above sentiment is what is meant, but it's historical and not religious.

I know you're not into religion. I'm not really either.
I was raised in a Catholic church until I was 13...then I moved and since I've been in all kinds of churches, and synagogues searching for reasons as to why we can't all get along. The principals of all the religions are okay, but the followers are where I come into difficulty, and I don't think you can just nail the Christians to the cross just cuz it's Christmas.

I have a Muslim in my family. I have a devotee of Krishna in my family. I have a close friend that is an Orthodox Jew. They all have weird rules that I think impinge on my spirit and my person. The Muslim would have me walk behind my husband. The devotee of Krishna will not take my hand or eat in a restaurant with me (she will only eat food that is prepared by her own hand or at the ashram), and the Jew told me once that my company wouldn't succeed because of the name. She said it would fail because people were speaking evil. Then she went on to say that she wouldn't come to my 5th anniversary event because I was going to have a Tarot card reader there. In her defense though...We debated it, and I told her that her intolerance was against her religion and she did come to my event for about 15 minutes. The point is, I accept them for who they are, and do not place weird rules on them because I adhere myself to no religion, but I find them very unwilling to accept who I am most of the time. This is not just Christians.

Christmas came around long before I could do anything about how the traditions came to pass. I do appreciate the day of Christmas however--no matter what it's origination. In a modern world I get to do nothing with my husband who is ALWAYS working (he's a lot like you). We get to spend time together, and maybe get in a hike with the dog. We get to eat and appreciate each other-- I hear how much I'm loved a lot during the day because of a gift I gave or because I made something special to eat. I hear, "I love you honey" because made a comfortable space to read and hang out. I feel that love all year (now he's great at expressing love all year too, but on Christmas it's like glue).
Let the Christians say I'll burn in hell. Let the Jew tell me that Tarot cards are evil and my Krishna tell me there is no Christmas out of sheer denial. There are fundamentalists in every group, but I will not let them take away what Christmas means to me.

I don't know if you would agree that this is on point with your blog. In fact your blog to me sounded more like Democrats and Republicans, but that's a topic for a different day.
I wish you a Merry Christmas Randy. I hope you get to spend it with those you love, and who love you.
I'm sending you love and appreciate how you make us all stop and think...or write.
    xo

  10. RG,
When Jesus comes back let's not forget he is a Jew. He probably has a few cousins in Boca who are lawyers. They will send these "Christians" a cease and desist letter. Christ's message was divine love, not hate and exclusion..

The evangelicals have also hijacked the Republican Party.
    Merry Christmas, Randy,
    Jim

    1. Hey Jim- One of my favorite jokes...
What is the first thing Jesus will do when he returns?....
      Go find a Synagogue.
What will surprise him the most?
The fact that he isn't Jewish any more! 😉

A great book from a Jewish/Kabbalistic perspective you may enjoy is called :
God is a Verb by Rabbi David Cooper.
Many of you may enjoy his perspective of "experiencing" God.

      Peace.
      Jeanne

  11. Great teaching on a fine Christmas day! Walk in love is the best thing we can do. Merry Christmas. Love your blog postings.

  12. Amen to that!! My son made a comment to me the other day that really struck me and is a similar theme to your post here. He says he finds "organized religion" to be repressive in a lot of ways. I think he may be onto to something as well.

  13. Thanks Randy. Humans look for the answer to ultimate question. Where do we come from why are we here and where are we going? Religion and later Philosophy/Science developed to give us dogma & morals. The Jewish, Christian and Moslem religion started with El who evolved into Elowin and later Yahweh. Yahweh was married to Ashara and they where accompanied by other Gods. Around 500BC Buddha and Confucius arrived and Yahweh evolved into a singular entity and later many splinter religions. Randy I see signs of another transformational time, with large numbers evolving away from dogma and toward the Reciprocity, compassion, peace and love you speak of.

  14. I can certainly identify with your post today. As a child I was taken to church on Sunday. We drove to a corner between the Methodist and Baptist church. Mom went to the Methodist church and Dad drug me with him to the Baptist church. Each church said that if you didn't believe their way you were doomed to an everlasting hell. As a kid, I was totally confused and anytime I wanted an explanation of why they couldn't both agree on something like this and BOTH wind up in a better place for the hereafter... I was just told to shut up!

When I grew up and joined the Navy I had the opportunity to go to non-denominational services and off and on I've checked out several "faiths" only to find that same deep underlying belief that says it's their way or else!

To this day, I simply can't put God in a box and put a name on it. I prefer to see him everywhere and as much as possible, reflect the love and caring that I believe God wants us to share with our fellow man.

Best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Profitable New Year,

    David

  15. Well Said Randy. Like rebel I questioned the church at very young age and was pretty much asked t find something else to do on a sunday. That was fine as it made me look at other religions and teachings and have come to deeply understand how destructive and controlling organised religion is.
Funny thing happened, when I got married the first time round my bride to be wanted to get married in the very church I was raised around. I had no problem with that and we attended meetings with the minister (not the same old "Fire & Brimstone" minister of earlier years.
He and I debated God, religion, my views and understanding of god. He said that normally he would not marry someone in the church if they weren't of the christian faith but would make an exception in my case as he wished that the people he saw every sunday filling the pews had the same understanding and relationship with God as I had developed.
As you have mentioned, there have been many teachers of Gods Message from all corners of the world. They have a common thread in their teachings, Love and respect for your fellow beings.
So simple yet man manages to screw it up so effectively.

Peace, love and happiness to all.

  16. Great post! I have been a christian for many years, but away from the church, I now know that God is all about relationship. I really don't think he would be overly impressed with most churches today. If I tell people they are going to hell, than I am playing GOD to other people. Nobody has given me any right to tell anyone where they are going. I can only share my own experience, strength, and hope with others. Life is a journey and in my opinion religion can push you further from god. May be why Jesus spoke out so much against the religious leaders of his day.

  17. Yes, I do think Jesus would be pissed if he saw how contorted his message has been become. Seriously dangerous cases of broken telephone and egos gone wild. I think Christ's message was simple really. Love.

and, Love is everywhere - no matter what religion.

"When the planes hit the Twin Towers as far as I know, none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge, they were all messages of Love." This brief scene says so much and always moves my heart.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03CTpRexb2o

To me, this is the core. When our lives are in peril, dangling precariously on a thin thread, what comes up? The faces/hearts of those we Love.

Happy Holidays and Love out to all! <3

  18. An omnipresent God cannot be put into a box but the words of Jesus can not be misinterpreted either:
"I am the way, the truth and the life; no man comes to the Father, but by me." Is that dogmatic or pragmatic?
I agree that organized religion has been a bane to mankind but Christ's message was simple- love your neighbor as yourself- no matter who your neighbor might happen to be.
As for Christmas, we'd of never had it without Easter. Something to think about.

    1. John,

I was trying to find the right words to say, but that could not have been stated better. Jesus makes it very simple!

    2. But did Jesus actually say these words? And what do they mean, if he did? The book of John is the least historically accurate of the gospels, all of which have been rewritten and editted over time, hence the "version" you read. And I interpret these words of Jesus as meaning "by my example, my consciousness."

  19. Hey Randy! Great post! After reading (and agreeing with) it, I began to muse....

The last major shakeup in Western religion occurred about 500 years ago, largely as a consequence of Gutenberg's development of the movable-type printing press. This remarkable machine enabled Bibles to be printed more easily and more cheaply, and so "the truth" gradually began to get into the hands of the common man without requiring a priestly middleman to interpret it. The Catholic Church lost control over "the truth", with the eventual result of the rise of Protestantism.

This is obviously a generalization of a complex process, but I was wondering if we're seeing the same phenomenon occur today with the Internet. As it did 500 years ago, "the truth" (such as your post and the numerous comments agreeing with you) is bypassing the traditional religious channels, and normal people are finally able to talk to each other, easily and cheaply, in ways that weren't possible until just recently.

If this is indeed the beginning of another major spiritual revolution, then today's hate-mongers disguised as religious leaders are actually just soon-to-be-extinct dinosaurs... and that's great news for all the rest of us!

As I say, just musing. Wishing everyone the merriest of Christmases, and a New Year filled with an abundance of love!
    jim

      1. We must be careful with generalizations. Humans have killed more humans in the name of "no religion" than all religious war combined through our history.
We only have to look at Germany in 1929,Russia,Vietnam and China to see the complete annihilation of millions of people in the name of no god.

  20. it's amazing how many people that consider themselves followers of Jesus have never cracked open the bible.

When people follow people who are off track it's amazing how bad it gets. It's like inbreeding.

Oh yeah there's going to be a whole lot of people surprised when their eternity begins.

I remember conversing with a friend of mine who'd been in the Catholic church most of his life & at 23 had never read the bible on his own outside of a mass.

I grew up in a pretty radical church that wouldn't allow women to cut their hair or wear pants all because of a couple of verses that were taken completely out of context. It took me backing up in the scriptures & reading the whole line of thought to realize how far off the misinterpretation was.

    Merry Christmas.

    1. Context when interpreting the Scriptures is always important. If you don't consider the "text" of the message, you end up with a "con" - and many people are fooled and follow an erroneous belief.

  21. It was about 2 years ago that I really had a hard time with caling myself a "Christian". It was the year when Walmart stopped putting the Merry Christmas signs up and Christians were up in arms about "the right" to say Merry Christmas. It was also the year that I really started to notice how the Christmas holiday gets rammed down everyone's throat- Christian or not. How many years have Jews had to endure listening to Christmas music when it was a holiday for them as well?

I got pissed! And over the last fewyears, it's become a running joke of mine that it's easy to spot a Christian at this time of year because they are the one's ready to cut you off on the highway, give you the finger if you take "their" parking space but still wear a button that says "It's OK to say Merry Christmas to me!". They love to recite that it's better to give than to receive. So I tell them that's great because I am open to receiving!

I found an interesting book that talks about the history of Christmas from a Pagan viewpoint. The tree is actually a Pagan thing- celebrating the Winter solistice and nature. Christianity had to create a holiday similiar to what then Pagans were used to so they could be recruited with ease. Pagans celebrated "The Sun" and "The Mother (earth) so Christians also had a "Son" (Jesus) and a "mother" (Mary).

But I agree Randy that the majority of "good Christians" are missing the reason for the season, which is unconditional love for those around you as God (or whatever you want to call it) has for you. There is one thing on my list, however, and that's a bumbersticker that says "Born Right The First Time".

Peace, Love & Chocolate to All!

  22. Like minds attract each other. That's why every comment (including mine) are in agreement with your assessment, Randy.

I'm sure the Hell-and-Brim-fire crowd are congregating in another circle scheming to sabotage the next Republican Party convention, infiltrate the the Tea Party, and chastise the American people as well.

They - the "Are you with us or against us folks?" - are a sincerely insincere, rigimortized herd of fanatics, in a serious way. Their way is to hijack the messenger and his message and replace him with televangelists and Tinseltown talking-point clowns who sound angry with earthly issues of their own. They often give me the desire to start a campaign to legalize crucifixions.

Just yesterday I was reading about the origin of Xmas. People make Christ's birth into a shopping holiday which causes far too many of the No-Haves to fret and forsake their woes. While the well-adjusted and well-heeled celebrate their bounty in comfort and satisfaction after a shopping frenzy and feast preparation.

In my mind, the Kodak moment is an empty gesture until all who want to join the feast EVERYDAY are welcome and the daily gifts are just a sense of appreciating our chance to live and be of service without attachments.

    1. I agree with you there - and take heart in the fact that there are so many like minded folk out there as these responses show...

Every one will choose there own reality and rather than focus on the negative, as you say the "hijackers" and giving them my power, I choose to seek out blogs like this, the company of like minded people, focus on the great things in my life and keep raising my vibration...bring on 2011!

  23. Randy,

You always throw something into the punchbowl - sometimes pleasing, sometimes less so - and it's interesting reading.

By the way, you heard Pat Robertson thinks locking up people for simple pot possession is nuts? That must be causing a few ripples on the Right!

Q: Does a nut calling something nuts constitute a double negative?

    Happy holidays.

    Gregg

  24. Randy, the fundamentalists can't really hijack Jesus or his message. There will always be those who truly understand the message and those who don't. It is all a spiritual and moral journey to find ones faith. Fundamentalist are stuck in the wrong spot, but it is where they are.

Jesus isn't pissed. I think you are pissed, with them. We have to have compassion though, even for the fundamentalists (and ourselves).

And we have to know we are good no matter what others may think or judge us to be. Heaven, Hell, Purgatory whatever place we live in, it is here on earth and we choose it.

The ending of your message is really a sweet thought for Christmas day.

  25. As always, I appreciate your knowledge on network marketing; however, as a born again Christian, each post offends me. You know, you sure do spend a lot of time talking about Jesus to have the opinions of Him you do? In spite of everything you say and feel, Jesus still came to this earth, died on an old rugged cross for your sins, and loves you unconditionally. Be blessed.

    1. It is your choice to be offended - offence is rarely given and mostly taken - and your response is a little judgemental and self righteous perhaps? I don't think Randy's comments suggest that Jesus didn't live amongst us - on the contrary...you believe we are sinners, I disagree however the end result is that Jesus's gospel and teachings were about Loving one another unconditionally...and most importantly Loving ourselves and being confident in finding the answers we seek from within...Peace and Love to You and Yours!

  26. The only purpose of religion is to keep you from having a personal relationship with God. Religion stands between God and man holding one hostage from the other. "Do things my way" they say, "and we'll see that you get to God!" Tolstoy said that there is only one way to fight evil - that is by becoming evil! The rule is thou shalt not kill and we inforce it by killing - going to war in the name of peace! When will we become the peace we want to see! Jesus isn't pissed - though he may be sadened. His respone was always, "Forgive them, they know not what they do." As so should we. Great message Randy! Thanks for sanity.

    1. Well Said Dean - agree totally - I have always thought that when Jesus expressed that sentiment he was referring to the whole of mankind, who just weren't ready to get the message - that we are God and all connected as Spiritual beings having a human experience...

      1. Another well said from me - I have been having this struggle with my parents and sisters for years now. I was raised a Methodist, and then we got into the Charismatic movement. I graduated from Oral Roberts University and saw first hand and learned first hand the "fleecing" of America.

I have learned so much more about spirituality since leaving college and now know a true and close personal relationship with my God. I do not go to church and really resent the way Christians continue to judge other people's "walk with the Lord" as they say. Who are they to judge.

Anyway I have a 4 year old son and he is learing to look everywhere for signs of God and he knows he can go directly to the Source for his needs and comfort.

        Thanks
Randy for your post and Poppy for your comment

  27. Great topic, Randy, for Christmas. Gets us all thinking about how we live our lives, how we treat others, and looking inside ourselves to answer questions like, "What does it mean to be spiritual, loving, and caring?"

  28. Hi Randy...

I am a Christian and I appreciate your perspective. However, you are making the same mistake of those you are judging. Not all Christians behave the way you describe them. I know many Christians who do, sadly. However, I also know more, many more, who are compassionate, loving and non-judgmental. I know men, women and teens who give of themselves to stop prostitution, poverty and the sex traffic of children. I also know many non-christians who worship only money and power. Please don't generalize. People are people. There are good and bad regardless of religious belief. I find it odd that you found it necessary to single Christians out.

    1. I wasn't generalizing or suggesting that all Christians are this way. I was talking more about Christians today because it's Christmas and the messages I was noticing on Twitter.

      -RG

      1. I'm a Christian too and I agree that saying that Christians are this way compared to all other religions is like saying all network marketers are money driven, selfish and take advantage of others.

I compare network marketing a lot to the church actually. There are typically more bad apples than good ones but when you experience being with other believers, sharing the same faith, message and the goal of Jesus, it's the greatest feeling in the world.

Religion, spirituality, peace, whatever you want to call it, in my opinion is there to ponder who God is. We never arrive but if we are humble enough to know that we don't know all the answers but question instead, just sounds a lot better.

Jesus wasn't the one pissed according to the bible. God was pissed. I agree. And it will most likely take a lifetime to understand it but most importantly figure out how to find eternal life.

I've studied world religions through college and my question is, what other religion promises salvation? We can all find ways to find peace here on earth but true religion is like living like an alien here on earth for only one purpose.

When it comes to spiritual stuff, I'd rather take advice from the guy who raised people from the dead, walked on water, rose from the dead and who was born from a woman who didn't even have sex yet... no THAT is spiritual...

        1. the guy who raised people from the dead, walked on water, rose from the dead and who was born from a woman who didn’t even have sex yet…
ah that would be Horus cica 1200BC , other have similar stories.

      2. You wrote about christians fundamentalists.
The ones who believe that every word in the Bible is the only truth:
"An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth." the ones following the Old Testament.

  29. Well said Randy, and all other respondents. It's simple really; the challenge I guess is to be the change we want to see - I've stopped using energy trying to communiate these sentiments to my fundamentalist family and just live my truth as best I can...funnily they have stopped preaching to me!

  30. Randy you can love somebody without sharing the same spiritual beliefs. Just because someone believes that Jesus or Mohammad or whatever is the only way to God that doesn't mean they don't love you if you don't believe that (although many people do act like that and I agree with you totally that such behavior is wrong.) I have plenty of people that I love who I share different spiritual beliefs just like I have plenty of people I love that I share different political beliefs. People just need to learn how to agree to disagree.

  31. Randy, while I respect your opinion, are you really sure you have the answer? It appears you are lumping Jesus, Christianity and TV Evangelists all together and then blending that with all other popular religious philosophies. One thing Jesus did was to hang with common folk, speak to them in simple terms. One thing he said was "No one comes to the Father, but by me." Simple language that cannot be taken out of content here. Jesus drew a line in the sand. He created the exclusivity long before the Fundamentalists arrived. He basically saw the trends in his time, and told the truth. Now, many people do not like what he said, yet he said it, not me. There is a simple line in the sand, Jesus said it, he defined the entry into his kingdom and many people have tried to redefine that because it really is inclusive.

    1. That is what the men who wrote the Bible said he said. I'm certainly not lumping Jesus, Christianity and televangelists all together. the whole point of this post was the chasm of differences between the principles Jesus lived by and the ones practiced by some that profess to follow him.

      -RG

    2. Curt ... I was raised a Christian and have been continually reminded about that 'line in the sand'. The question in my mind always has been the same as Rebel Brown's (in an earlier post) ... "how anyone could say a Buddhist holy man sitting on a mountain praising God could go to hell because he wasn’t Christian."
We are spiritual beings having a human experience and in the words of Abraham (NOT the one in the bible), "You are not here to try to get the world to be just as you want it to be. You are here to create the world around you that you choose while you allow the world as others choose it to be to exist also."
It's really very simple and we all seem to make too much of it 🙂

  32. Hi Randy Gage,
Born in the middle east and raised as catholic, I was taught that the catholic are the exclusive agent to god and every body else is going to hell. Then my high school was american evangelical school that daily proved to us that they are the exclusive agent to god and everybody else is going to hell.In my Art academy university was in Hard line Greek Orthodox community that believed that they are the only exclusive agent to god and everybody else is going to hell. Next to my country, the jews truely believe that they are the chosen people and everybody is going to hell, I worked with some Shiite citizens who believed that they are the last exclusive agents to god and every body is going to Hell. Finally, I went and worked in the Arabian Gulf states, I met many Sunni people who believed that they are truely exclusive agent to god and everybody else is going to hell. And, I read Ayn Rand and she truly believes an establishment based on sacrifice and basic sin dogma is the hell itself.

    1. If people actually did some critical thinking on the percentage of likelihood that their one way to salvation beliefs were determined by what state they were born in, they would cringe.

      -RG

      1. The only salvation we need is salvation from our insane thoughts. Most people tip-toe through life hoping they will make it safely to death. There is no need to fear hell, we're already living it. Critical thinking is the issue. I think it was you who once said that most people go through life without ever having an original thought! And, beliefs are like clothes, when they get worn out and don't fit it's time to get some new ones.

  33. Word.

I've been thinking about Reciprocity, and to me it seems like it's not quite there. Reciprocity kinda waits for someone to do something FIRST and you reciprocate.

    What about being first?

"Half the world is waiting for the other half to say hello"

      1. Anyways the whole bible was written years after events occurred.
The English bible has been translated from Greek,Hebrew but Jesus spoke in Arameic.
Jesus did not write the New Testament. It is all hearsay!

  34. I have written a lot of verse in my life. I am a a Reiki Master and after one of my Training Sessions this poem appeared in my mind and I just wrote it down:

    Peace
The ‘One with All’ that enters in my mind
Engenders thoughts of peace for all mankind.

When we can see that we are all the same
It stills the need to play the killing game.

The rose does not attack the maple tree
But lives beside, in peace and harmony.

Since time began we learn to hate
Those others who exist beyond our gate.

When all can grasp we live on common ground
The answers to our strife may well be found.

I lost faith in Christianity when I suddenly realised that the New Testamanent was designed by the Roman Emperor Constatine in the 4th Century AD when He decided to convert to Christianity and ditch all the Roman Gods who had served them for centuries. He it was who decided which four of the many gospels which were available at the time should be included in the New Testament.

Interestingly Mohammed wrote the Quran shortly afterwards! A Power struggle maybe??

Interestingly the Christain fundamentalists in the middle ages were just as vicious as the Muslim fundamentalists of today. The Spanish Inquistion torturing and buring at the stake any who questioned any aspect of the Roman Catholic Faith.

I came to my senses when the Reiki Master who taught me and who has several Spirit Guides said to me.

'You know Richard, all man made religions cease at the grave side. Whe we pass over into the Spirit world there is no religion and we are all the same'

I find that immensely comforting. I KNOW I have been on this earth before in previous lives and I'm sure I shall l come again. Incidentally re-incarnation was once part of the Christian Faith until someone decided to 'ban it'

Hope I haven't rattled too many cages but rather given food for thought.

  35. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind & soul. And love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus is God period. He is the way the truth and the light. Anyone who says otherwise I love & pray they look into the life of Jesus, not His followers. He was the original, anytime you try to duplicate or make a copy of something it's less than perfect. So if you are looking at His followers as the standard you will be disappointed most of thetime. Look to the source, He's a person & a lot bigger than you can imagine. Even though He came as a humble & small package as the babe in a manger. Merry Christmas everyone!

  36. I BELIEVE ALL MORTALS NEED TO BE BORN AGAIN
JESUS SAID TO NICODEMUS ALONG TIME AGO AS
RECORDED IN THE SCRIPTURES "YOU MUST BE BORN
AGAIN" WE ARE LOST AND EVENTUALLY END UP IN
HELL IF WE ARE NOT SAVED
NARROW IS THE WAY THAT LEADETH TO HEAVEN
AND FEW THERE BE THAT FIND IT
ALWAYS READ THE BIBLE AND DONT LISTEN TO WHAT OTHER PEOPLE SAY

  37. Randy?!?!?!

"Let’s forget about the dogma, doctrines, and differences, and celebrate the similarities. Reciprocity, compassion, good, peace, love. "

Now go back and write that one. Not the nonsense you did. Who cares about all that stuff if what you ended it with is true.... or are you stuck or fixated on something in your past? If so it’s time to ‘get off it’ and be compassion, goodness, peace and love… I know you know how.

  38. I agree Randy. I think part of the problem with religion, beliefs, etc.. is that no one seems to practice what they preach. I am a cristian and I believe in Jesus as all of our savior. I also read and study the bible. Everything that is now occuring relative to religious beliefs and behavioral changes is all documented in the bible. It is a road map if you are willing to take the time to understand the true meaning. I think, like so many things in life, people take a superficial look and make conclusions that are not accurate due to their lack of true understanding. Even with that said, it doesn't take any of us off the hook for our own attitudes and behaviors that we choose to act out. I truly believe that most people are good, they just spend way too little time on fully educating themselves on things before they express their opinions. Words spoken are taken way too lightly in this world we live in. If people would choose their words more carefully and become aware and sensitive to their own behaviors, the world would be a much better place. We were given 2 ears and one mouth for a reason. We could all use a lot of self improvement on this.

  39. Randy, there are a lot of things I disagree with you (and your followers on), and I often let you know it. This is not one of them; I actually couldn't agree more with you. So, in fairness, I should let you know that, too. A lot of fundamentalists won't like this, but in my opinion, Jesus' greatest message to us was not "I came to die for your sins," but "I came to teach you how to love."

    1. Jesus came to fullfill the law and die for the sins of all, AND to teach us how to love through his perfect sinless life, through examples. We are inperfect and that is to be understood by the relationships he formed. By his example, he taught us how to love, withholding none for anyone, no matter what they did or who they were. As so many of us have said, love is all about forgiveness since none of us are with out blemish.

  40. Wow HOT topic !! I was raised Episcopalian, went to my friends Churches ie Catholic, Baptist, Calvary Chapel, found SRF and ended up teaching children yoga.
I believe as children of God we should be able to attend any service and find
God there. I used to have a sign on my door that
    said Happy Birthday Jesus.
    I agree with you RG
"Let’s forget about the dogma, doctrines, and differences, and celebrate the similarities. Reciprocity, compassion, good, peace, love. Those are the real season for the season!"

About as real as it gets. Merry Christmas everyone.

  41. Randy,

First - thanks for inspiring me to learn copywriting!

Second - Great post. My positive opinions are stated by earlier posters.

Third - I hope you'll think carefully before putting any more grass blades from the park in your mouth - ok?

    Take care,

    Joffrey

  42. So Randy, I was just thinking. You seem so mad all the time at the fundamentalists, and well I don't blame you. They have a message that is cruel and brings hate into the world and not love. So, I understand your anger. Why do you keep staying so angry?

I feel bad it's Christmas and it seems like you had to spend time defending yourself and your beliefs. For someone like you who wants abundance and joy everday, it seems kinda of a yucky thing to have to do. I mean you put Jesus and pissed together on Christmas day (maybe you enjoyed the debate, I hope).

You know you kinda have something in common with those fundamentalists. You are a wealth fundamentalist. You have a fundamental belief that the only way to truly have a wealthy mindset is to be a Libertarian. This is what you told your readers. You also call being poor a sin. These are fundamental beliefs. They are black and white beliefs just like those Fundamentalist Christians hold. Wether you mean to or not you inspire hate with your fundamentalism as well. That really is what I have been trying to tell you. You lead your readers to believe if people are poor they are sinning against themselves, and you know maybe in some cases this is just not so. Libertarianism may also not be the only path to true wealth. Just some thoughts.

I know this post isn't about politics or Libertarianism. But, it's all connected my friend. Our religious beliefs, our values, they make up who we are.

We are only here to love. That is my honest belief. I'm not saying I've mastered it yet, just that I believe this.

True prosperity, not necessarily the material kind, is in my perspective infinite. I don't think material wealth or prosperity is infinite. Material resources are limited. The earths resources are limited. We humans are limited. Love is unlimited and infinite.

People in the projects are sometimes happy, and people in mansions. People in the projects are sometimes unhappy and people in mansions. Place and things truly do not matter as much as how you live. Living in the light and living in the darkness have nothing to do with anything material.

Sorry I've teased you in a merciless fashion and messed up some of your blogs. Really I just enjoy being silly sometimes. I hope you had a nice day. It sounds like it started out pretty good.

  43. I AM CONSTANTLY AMAZED AT HOW PEOPLE WHO GO TO CHURCH, MASS, ETC ON A REGULAR OR DAILY BASIS AND PURPORT TO BE GOOD CHRISTIANS TREAT AND JUDGE OTHERS. THEY SHOW NO COMPASSION OR UNDERSTANDING TOWARD WHAT THE OTHER PERSON MAY BE GOING THROUGH AND TREAT THEM HORRIBLY. IF THEY WERE REALLY LISTENING IN CHURCH OR WHATEVER THEIR RELIGIOUS BUILDING IS CALLED THEY WOULD THINK TWICE AND BE MORE UNDERSTANDING.

    1. It is us, who need to be more understanding. It is by our example that they will see their own faults. These people need to see our transformation which is why it is so crutial, not to judge, but to forgive. We have all done things we wish we had not so how can we point a finger at anyone. Did you ever respond kindly to someone who has hurt you? It is amazing to watch their reaction. This is the way others can learn from our right actions. Little acts of kindness and forgiveness in our every day encounters is one of the greatest actions we can take to change the world one person, one act, at a time.

  44. Thank You Randy! This is one of the most important messages that needs to be thought of. Religion should only be used as a guide to a better life - most of us have forgotten this simple point - We are more concerned about the exterior of our religions and have failed to recognize the inherent essence - Spirituality & humanity! Sadly our respective religions have been hijacked by highly fundamentalist individuals! We don't need these self styled religious Robin-hoods! Each of us, in our own small way will have to contribute & spread this message. Thanks once again!

  45. Organized religion is infested with politics and even all great teachers would be totally pissed at what their teachings has become. How their teachings were misrepresented to gain political power and influence. I totally agree with that. Guess the great souls wont be interested in a blame game at all. They're already busy setting everything in place.

  46. "I rode my bike along the chain of islands on the Venetian Causeway. I stopped afterward at the park, and just laid on the ground, sucking a blade of grass, taking in the earth energy. It felt like I was communing with God. Which of course, I was."

Of course, you were ... what sheer bliss you must have experienced on this blessed morning :-). The priest who delivered my father's eulogy said, "A man in tune with nature is a man in tune with God."

I am new to your blog and have just spent the last couple of 'insomnia' hours reading each and every post. I find the 'contrast' of this human life adventure absolutely delicious.

I posted this earlier in a reply to a comment, and feel it even more as I have finished reading all the comments.

In the words of Abraham (and NOT the one from the bible), "You are not here to try to get the world to be just as you want it to be. You are here to create the world around you that you choose while you allow the world as others choose it to be to exists also."

    L(¨`·.·´¨) Light ♥
    O`·.¸(¨`·.·´)Joy & ♥
    V¨`·.·´¨).¸.·´ Blessings ♥
    E`·.¸.·´...

    1. One more thing ... I do believe that if Jesus WERE to come today, he WOULD be pissed 😉 After all, as Patrick pointed out to us, "Jesus’ greatest message to us was not 'I came to die for your sins,' but 'I came to teach you how to love'.”

      1. Hi Matt ... Yes it IS Abraham-Hicks and, like you, I LOVE their work. You might say 'Abraham' saved my life or should I say 'spirit' 😉

  47. Doesn`t the bible state that, Jesus will bring the sword and not peace. I think he is referring to idealogical and fundamentalist constructs and is not advocating physical or mental violence.

I also think that the quote below is referring to the gradual dissolution of our egoic consciousness.

The "full" quote, according to the New American Standard Bible (NASB) translation of the Bible, reads (Jesus speaking):

"Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I came to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a man’s enemies will be the members of his household. He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it." (Matthew 10:34-39 NASB

    1. I know some people go crazy when I say this, but it needs to be said again: The Bible is not the word of God. It is the word of men giving their interpretation of the word of God.

And I have learned that if you pull out paragraphs and pieces of it, you can use them to justify just about anything, up to and including murder.

Read in its entirety -- and in context -- the Bible is a wonderful prosperity textbook. In my faith (which is a Christian one I should note), we don't take everything literally. The lessons there are metaphysical, taught with parables.

Now that doesn't mean everyone reading this blog has to agree with me. I'm not here to convert anyone. I wanted to raise the issues of being congruent to your beliefs, and if those beliefs really serve you.

As I said in my book, many organized religions are run as cosmic frequent flyer programs, where people are led to believe they can collect points here to cash in for the free trip to salvation afterward. They see God as a cosmic Santa Clause, who is making a list and checking twice, to find out who's been naughty or nice. As a result, some of these people jump on my blogs and make their comments to show Santa they're being good. They are not really responding to me, they're just trying to ensure they've got enough miles in their account for the free trip to heaven. I get that, and if that makes them happy, good for them.

The whole point of my post was to get people to do some critical thinking about what the real message of the season should be.

      -RG

      1. The bible is the word of God. I was amazed to hear you say this. Everything in the bible is God's word. It was spoken THROUGH the prophets. It was not their take on the experience.

        1. Mary Ellen the bible didn't fall from the sky with the words of christ written in red ink. It was written by men, yes mostly men, which is also why it is a bit sexist in my opinion. I mean come on if we believe the origin story, women are responsible for bringing sin to earth.

We can all be prophets of God. God speaks through all of us from time to time. Much of the bible was written with brilliant messages by brilliant and wise people, but they had no more access to God than we do. The bible is a wonderful teaching tool and many of the stories are metaphors.

The Bible contradicts itself in many places. It's been translated and written by several different people.

          1. That's an interesting opinion, mine is different. The bible was written through spirit to the people chosen. It wasn't recallections of experience. It was brought through the holy spirit given them.

        2. There are women in jail who claim 'god' spoke to them and told them to kill their children. Perhaps they should write a bible too?

    2. Sword is a message....its not a physical thing....its "sharper than two edged sword" like its doing today on this post...cutting..piercing...

  48. Dear Randy!
I do believe in God, and have all my life. As a child I heard about hell and burning for ever if you sinned and if you were rich and a lot of other negative stuf. I never bought the hellpart or the burningpart, I thought that "my God is not like that", I just knew that. Obviously I bought the "being rich" part, but I am working myself out of that now, with your help, because you made me aware of it. For me before, being spiritual, wich is a very strong side in me, was the opposite of being rich. I want to thank you for that! My situation have started to change! I have so much faith that 2011 is going to be a fantastic year in all areas of my life.
Love to you Randy and everyone here.

  49. Christianity misunderstood....

The root issue here is that man did not create God, God created man. God has spoken to us in many ways in the past, but now he only speaks to us through Jesus Christ(paraphrase Hebrews 1).
In the bible there is in fact only one way to heaven where God, the God of the Israelites and therefor all Christians lives. Additionally, there is a hell.
Many people dismiss the idea of hell because they don't think it is fair. This simply don't understand that God is perfect and Holy and man is not. Man deserves punishment for sins. This started from the first man and all the way to you who is reading this today. There was only one man without sin and that was the Godman Jesus the Messiah. He was the sacrifice that fulfilled the Jewish Law and put into place the new covenant between God and man. Even though all will be punished for thier sin it is in His blood that your sin will not be seen by God the Father.
Of course many dismiss this teaching of the bible by saying that the bible was written by man and passed down. However, this excuse can be used to dismiss anything you don't like. When you get rid of the infallibility of the scriptures then everything becomes open to interpretation. At this point truth goes out the window because you have now begun multiple truths. The modern mentality that everyone is entitled to thier own god is the problem. When everyone is allowed to make up thier own truth, this actually leads to more judgement of one another then before. Therefor defeating the entire purpose you granted everyone the ability to form god to what they want him to be.
God forms us. Man can not make or change God.

Side note: Randy, I adore you and study your work daily. Your MLM rockstar and Duplication Nation have changed my business dramatically. God has given you amazing talents. Please be careful on stating facts about God while simultaneously allowing multiple truths. This is contradictory. Additionally, you have a massive following of devoted Christian believers who believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven. This is not our belief, it was his... He is God and he said it often, he accepted worship. This is why they to killed him even though he had never done anything but good.
Jesus is either God, or a lunatic, there is no room for anything in between.

  50. "Love one another as I have loved you." ~ JC

JC meant everybody. He didn't mean that you had to like one another - as we know he had some issues with the Pharisees and Sadducees - but he did mean that you should love all. Because, we are all. The illusion of separateness causes us to forget that we are brothers and sisters with one Source being our origin.

Love. For everyone. No matter is they agree, disagree, attack, hate or verbally assail you. Doesn't matter. Love 'em.

Thanks for sharing the always fun debate Randy. Much Love to you for the New Year and more importantly, the Now.

    RB

  51. The Roman Pagan holiday of Saturnalia, otherwise known as Christmas, is an ancient time of orgies, banquets and all types of sacrifices.

It is to honor Satan and please him so he will not hurt his followers.

    Ring a bell?

Sounds like God in the bible, and yes, on the 32nd degree of freemasonry, they tell you Satan is God.

Now, remember, the bible of today is very far from the original content.

Santa is an anagram of Satan.

Now you know what you're participating in, unless you choose to make it something else.

Try make it Appreciation Week for example, and skip the Satan stuff, green (satanic) Christmas tree etc.

    Do not participate!

Yes, the rulers of this planet practice a mix of Satanism and Kabbalah. It's their religion. It's their choice.

Is it also your choice by deception?

    1. Yes, Santa has always been a scary thing. Wonder why many children cry when they are forced to sit on his knee? I found out the TRUTH at a young age and felt so betrayed. Being LIED to affected me deeply. I do not have children, however, if I did they would have known the truth from the beginning, I would not have told them stories of things or beings that didn't exist.

  52. Anyways,Jesus was not a millionarie. You have hijack his teaching in a positive way. You are still stuck in the mind. I guess is better to live with a positive story instead of a negative story(still a story). It is better to do good than bad but still in the duality of life.
It is better to be spiritual-a union with the universe or a expression of the universe but still stuck in the idealized version of the ego.
"I am more than you are because... (add whatever you believe).
    God is another concept!

  53. I have worked with Muslims, Buddhists, Jews, Christians, and no matter what religion they have, the most important is the human character.but
everyone has the opportunity to work on yourself, but not everyone has the opportunity to meet Randy .

    God bless you

    and thanks Wencel

  54. love It! spot on man, spot on.

It's so interesting to me to talk with someone who is convinced their "right" and if you don't believe like they believe then you're certain to be damned to hell, period.

It just seems so arrogant to believe that you've gathered enough information and there is no chance of your being wrong on this that what you believe is the way 100% with no question and if you don't subscribe to the God I subscribe to then you're damned... whatever.

Love the post Randy. Love the fact that you're not afraid to share your thoughts (on anything).

Keep doing what you do big guy.

  55. Yes, Jesus IS coming ... and for some, he is already here - as evidenced by these posts. 🙂

    Thank God.

And not a minute too soon.

    Let it spread!

    Amen.

    K

  56. God, Brahma, etc.

I'm OK with believing there is something out there. Spirtuality is great! Thanks Randy!

It's God's followers (and anyone who blindly believes in anyone or anything without question) that I am afraid of.

  57. Randy...do you really think that when Jesus comes back to take us out of this rotten mess that he will be pissed at us?I am always worried about this..I try to not be an angry person selfish person...but if you cut me off I will give you the finger even if I am on my way to church...and that parking space was mine really it was...dam rite it is!...so you see what chence do I have of not gettin the big whammy?...J

  58. Randy,
I am so delighted to read this. Finally, a Christian said this.

While at Liverpool Uni I was surrounded by Evangelist Christian friends. Despite the fact that I had complete knowledge of why they were my friends I got along well with them. I liked the understanding they gave me about Christianity. Mind you, I am a Hindu. Always been.
ONLY thing that put me off Christianity is their utter hatred and intolerance of other religions and ideology. THe fact that Jesus is the ONLY true god kinda hit me.
Being a Hindu I was NEVER taught to hate or distrust other religions.

So I am so glad to know that true Christianity is not what they told me.

    Hersh

    1. Not only that...there are too many indifference even in the christian religion in terms of denomination and true way of worshiping God.

  59. Randy, I think you're great ... except when it comes to pontificating on religion.

I'm an amateur on these things but it seems like this is object lesson in why someone who's an expert in one subject (e.g., network marketing) should not pontificate, publicly, on subjects in which he's not (e.g., the Bible, Christianity, world religions in general, etc.).

Maybe we could consider the charitableness, at Christmastime, of such absolute statements as "the Bible is not the word of God" and "it is the word of men giving their interpretation of the word of God." May I suggest that some of the comments about Pat Robertson and millions of "fundamentalists" do not convey the spirit of peace, love, and goodwill?

Certainly, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But no one is entitled to the wrong "facts." It reminds of the man who, when asked what he knew about networking marketing, replied, "They're all illegal pyramid schemes!" I wonder what he might say about the Bible and Christianity.

    1. If you're looking for network marketing training, you can find it at NetworkMarketingTimes.com and NetworkingTimes.com.

This blog is about success and prosperity and your beliefs about organized religion play a huge part in that.

      -RG

      1. Oh Randy, I think he might be on to something about the spirit of being charitable to the fundamentalists. Although, I'm sure you meant well, it is something to contemplate. I also like the color red-orange. By the way, I was having a nice Christmas myself until I lost the poetry contest, and our poodle ate my sons' new moon dough(really disgusting).

      2. Randy, I'm sorry if my reply was inappropriate.

By the way, your teaching products on network marketing (available at NetworkMarketingTimes.com) are the best! I appreciate your sincerity, candor, and genuineness.

        Happy New Year!

  60. Jesus (Jmmanuel) might actually be coming, and if so, it will be a cloned and highly programmed person from Mars.

It would be the staged second coming of Christ.

    The show must go on.

Many planets in our neighborhood are populated, not least Mars, but also the "Moon", which by the way is artificial.

"The Truman Show" is for real, just like many other movies. There is a reason they are made for the public. They try to tell you what is really going on.

Jesus (Jmmanuel) was actually sent to Kashmir, India, after taken down from the cross by his alien genetic creators.

Some say he even met with Buddha.

He didn't marry again, but one of his sons was with him there. He had grandchildren that went around Asia and taught a new belief system. There are records of this from Japan.

He had conscious access to Universal Law and knew how to use it.

Mary Magdalene went hiding out in caves in France.

You can see the skull of Mary Magdalene and the bones of her daughter, Sarah, called the Black Virgin.

In France and even in Spain, the reality of Mary Magdalene and her children with Jesus (Jmmanuel) is accepted as a fact.

The Rennes-Le-Chateau Church is based on androgynous reptilian energies. Ritual sacrifice and sexual practices were common.

  61. I don't believe in organized religion but I do believe in the One True God who came down as a man (Jesus) to teach love and kindness, then taking on all our sin so we can live eternally. My church doesn't preach rules and regulations, but the teachings of the Bible and to have a relationship with Jesus. Once you begin getting closer to Jesus and read His Word, you will be able to show the love and compassion this world so desperately needs. I'm not perfect; I yell at people on the road, I get mad, I swear, and I have immoral thoughts, like everyone else but I know God will forgive me. So forgive yourself like Randy says! God will too if you ask!

  62. Hi Randy, sorry I am late on this... But its very thought provoking...Religion is a very hot topic anyday anytime. Spiritual development and physical development are similar. First rule based then responsibility based then transcends to other areas... Those who attack religious dogmas are also guilty of the same offense. exclusion and dogmas are age old human behaviors..thats why America is America with territorial integrity and China is China... Whether we like it or not..Christmas is a Christian Celebration...with Christian origin...you may wish to interpret it this way or the other at ones own convenience, but its a Catholic creation and lets leave it at that. I am tired also of following dogmas and doctrines but I know "they teach as doctrines the commands of men" See, Isaiah prophesied about the birth of Jesus years before He was born. I am sure even at that time some people didnt take it seriously...so I am not surprised if some people don't take it seriously now. LOVE, COMPASSION are good things, but remember, the best of human efforts like "filthy rag" before God. so no matter the extent of love and compassion we talk(seldom show) we need Jesus Christ to be one with God. Jesus said he is the way, other said there are other ways...dodgy I guess...I choose to follow the one who came decided... Christmas Is A Christian Holiday! Biblical or not is another cup of tea

  63. Shit Happens, in various World Religions:

Taoism: Shit happens, go with the flow.
Hare Krishna: Shit happens Rama Rama Ding Ding.
Hinduism: This shit has happened before.
Islam: Shit happening is the will of Allah.
Zen: What is the sound of shit happening?
Existentialism: Shit doesn't happen; shit is.
Buddhism: When shit happens, is it really shit?
    Confucianism: Confucius says, "Shit happens".
7th day Adventist: Shit happens on Saturdays.
Protestantism: Shit won't happen if you work harder.
Catholicism: If shit happens, you deserved it.
Jehovah's Witnesses: No shit happens until Armaggedon, and it won't happen to us.
    Unitarian: What is this shit?
Mormon: Shit happens again & again & again.
Judaism: Why does this shit always happen to us?
    Pentacostalism: Praise the shit!
    Atheism: There is no shit!
New Age: Shit happens and it happens to smell good if you open your heart to it.
    Rastafarianism: Let's smoke this shit.

  64. Hey Randy, you really got a good following on this one man. I just want to know one thing? Who can save themself? I've tried and failed, I lived, I've died, and now I live again. I have seen the risen christ dressed in light, man that really freaked me out too. I've seen angels on a few occasions and I try to commune with God on a daily basis.

    Without a savior we're screwed.

    Happy Holidays,

    -John : )
