How You Got Toxic and Dysfunctional Beliefs

Posted By: Randy GageDecember 17, 2019

Put yourself in this picture:  You’re staring down an army tank division advancing on you.  There are almost 200 tanks, light tanks, and armored cars.  The accompanying soldiers also carry rifles, service revolvers, and bayonets, as well as some bazookas and other anti-tank weapons.  You’re standing in front of them poised for battle, alone, holding a steak knife.

Believe it or not, that is an accurate analogy for the forces you have faced – and almost defeated – up to this point in your life.  (And the reason you are almost certainly subconsciously doing behavior that is self-sabotaging your happiness and success.)

In the last post I shocked many of you by demonstrating that you have allowed your subconscious mind to develop some very negative, dysfunctional, and crazy beliefs in the most important areas of your life.  And I showed how they developed before you even reached the age of ten.  You may think it’s farfetched to think that those beliefs you developed in childhood are dramatically impacting your relationships, prosperity and happiness decades later, but that reality is pretty much a given.  You could be sabotaging your marriage, getting passed up for a promotion, or have $60,000 worth of credit card debt right now – because of programming you received at six, seven or eight years old.  Really.

The suffocating and overpowering forces used against you weren’t employed on a public battlefield, but in the unseen reaches of your subconscious mind.  You have been brainwashed without your knowledge.  Since your formative years you’ve been exposed to dysfunctional, limiting, and even dangerous world premises in the form of mind viruses.

Just as your hard drive can get infected with a virus from an email, your subconscious mind can be infected with mind virus from the environment around you.  That’s what caused you to develop such harmful beliefs.  And the most likely result of those beliefs is self-sabotage.  You want something in your conscious mind, but you have a core belief in your subconscious mind that is sabotaging it.  Millions perhaps billions, of people are more afraid of success than they are of failure.  They’re self-sabotaging themselves and have no idea they are doing it.

Why?

Because they don’t realize they are programmed with these mind viruses. They blame their less-than-desirable results on the government, their cheap boss, the economy, their spouse, or their ex. They’re convinced the cause is some outside circumstance, but don’t realize that the call is coming from inside the house.  And here is what may be the key to your breakthrough in all of this…

When your conscious and subconscious mind have a conflict – the subconscious mind always wins.

Always.  The only way you will end self-sabotage and improve your results is to identify the core, foundational beliefs which are negative, toxic, and dysfunctional.  Then you must eviscerate those beliefs, and replace them with beliefs that are positive, healthy and empowering.  To accomplish this process requires two steps:  First, identifying the source of the mind viruses.  And that’s where we’ll pick up on the next post.  Thoughts?

Peace,

- RG

then not going to bed on time so I can get my regiment in, and things that lead to said better conditions.

    it changes now.

starting to notice some new undertone perceptions when dealing in the collective.
