Freedom through Self-Discipline

By Randy Gage in Success, Prosperity.

Most people think they hate discipline.  And some truly do.  But those people are the ones living a life of mediocrity.  Because successful high achievers and those who jump out of bed each morning excited to begin their day, savor discipline.

Most importantly, they savor – and work to develop – self-discipline.  We spoke about the purpose of self-discipline some in the last post.  It’s your willpower to practice the daily habits that brings you closer to what you desire.   And the battle can be tough today…

There are millions of marketers plying you with offers to buy new furniture with no payments for the next three years, trying to sell you hacks and shortcuts, and magic diets promising you can dream away the pounds.  But for the stuff that really matters, there are no hacks or shortcuts.  So remember this…

The pain of discipline is always less than the anguish of regret.
