Financial Independence. the idea of it scares the heck out of me. It's such a great thing to become!
There are lots of quotes, quips, tropes, and motivational posters about facing down your fears. But there’s a reason for that. Because almost every great breakthrough, is on the other side of your fear.
Of course fear can be scary, that’s why it’s labeled fear. But every time you face a fear, you actually develop strength, multiply your courage, and increase your confidence. As Eleanor Roosevelt said, “You must do the thing you think you cannot do."
So what is that thing for you?

The thing I’m afraid I cannot do is have consistence in saying no to those people, activities and things that aren’t a high priority.
Run my first ever 5k!!!
I do agree that people internalize fear as a label, as Randy commented above. We put all kinds of labels on ourselves. Maybe we just need to lose the label part. Fear can only exist in the absence of love, so why not look at the things we fear from a totally different perspective. If I had to answer Randy's question,
"So what is that thing for you"? I would have to say, I fear not fearing. It's a transformation and a revelation that leaves a void that awaits being filled.
fear is important because keep us save from things we are afraid of, but once we decide to defeat our fears, courage is our best tool...without fears, courage has no sense
