Expanding Your Prosperity Consciousness

Posted By: Randy GageMay 1, 2009

We’ve talked a lot lately about expanding consciousness.  And a great deal about prosperity.  So let’s put the two together and explore expanding your prosperity consciousness.

If you want the perfect birthday present, maybe you should buy it for yourself.  What’s the most amount of money you would spend on yourself for something you “want,” but don’t “need”?

How much money would you spend for a piece of art for your home?  How much cash do you usually carry around in your wallet, pocket, or purse?  How would you feel if you tripled or quadrupled it?

How much success would you need before you would go into any endeavor expecting to succeed?

How many homes do you think you should have?  Cars?  Vacations a year?

Give all this some thought and please check in below and share.

  1. If I tripled or quadrupled the cash in my pocket, I would spend it.. now wouldn't that be great! And then the fear sets in and the old "what did you do THAT for!" happens.

I'm right in the middle of getting into an edeavor so this is timely. And what's great is that I'm going into it EXPECTING to succeed and at the same time, doing my best to battle the limiting beliefs that hold me back.. Ain't this fun!

    Thanks Randy

  2. The most amount of money I'd spend on myself for something I want but don't need would only be limited by the amount of money I had or could generate to attain it. If there were no limit to the amount of money I had, there would be no limit to the amount I'd spend. Same goes for a piece of art.

How much do I usually carry? About $5 (for now). Quadruple? How about x 100 for $500. That's not bad, I'd feel good to have that in my pocket. That and an American Express black card 😉

How much success would I need before I’d go into any endeavor expecting success? Enough to raise my self esteem (self worth + efficacy) to it’s tipping point where I’d know it. (A work in progress.)

How many homes, cars, vacations a year should I have? As many as I can enjoy and rightfully pay for.

Thank R for all your thoughts and insights – always enjoyable.

  3. What’s the most amount of money you would spend on yourself for something you “want,” but don’t “need”?

I would buy a pair of shoes for 500 euros

How much money would you spend for a piece of art for your home?
    I would spend 10000 euros

How much cash do you usually carry around in your wallet, pocket, or purse? How would you feel if you tripled or quadrupled it?
I usually don't carry more than 20 euros and i would love to carry 100

How much success would you need before you would go into any endeavor expecting to succeed?

I would like to work the right amount to be happy and succeed

How many homes do you think you should have? Cars? Vacations a year?

I want to have 5 homes in different places in the world, one beautiful car and as many vacations as i have right now.

  4. All I would need in the way of success to believe I will truly succeed would be the very first dollar - I mean from a new venture.

  5. I think it is a gradual proccess of expanding your consciousness. But it has to be always bigger than what you have now.

BTW Randy, what do yo think about binaural Beats for Brain in creating success subconscious mindset. Things like Hemi-sync...
If you don't know about it just look up in the internet.

  6. How much would I spend on a piece of art I love? Well, as much as it costs. How much cash do I carry around with me? I've had the same $100 bill in my wallet for a number of years now, so always at least that much. Since I separated my finances from my ex last year, I've also delighted in carrying another $100 or so in my wallet on top of that. It was amazing how good that made me feel - to open my wallet and actually have something there and not have to use my plastic to pay for two grocery items!! Quadrupling it would feel amazing, but I'd like to carry more than that again. I like the thought of carrying about $2,000 at any given time.

How much success would I need before I could expect it? I honestly don't know. I'm a little frustrated in that department. I have spent about 8 years putting a lot of effort into MLM following the system, (my upline says I'm doing everything), and it has only been burning a hole in my pocket. I've taken a break from it because I wasn't feeling good about what I was doing. So I guess you could say that I don't quite feel like I have the Midas Touch yet.

As for how many cars, houses and vacations I should have, that would be as many as I want. If I like a car and want to buy it, I'd like to think that I could buy it immediately or quickly generate the cash needed to buy it in a short period of time.

I also recognise that the stuff going on in my head has to change for me to be able to live life like that.

  7. Loved the question: "How much success would you need before you would go into any endeavor expecting to succeed?" - Very thought provoking.

Does success depend on prior success? Or -
Does success depend upon learning from prior failures? Or -
Does lack of success predict a future lack of success? Or -
Should one attempt something new (no track record)?

My take - Whenever I start something, I ALWAYS expect to succeed. Of course I often fail, but it is what I make of both my failures AND my successes that count.

    Thanks for the question!
    John

  8. Money is an illusion and limitless (energy). It's just the way things have been structured around on this planet for various reasons.

I know not everyone would agree with Alex Collier perhaps, but: "Why do you have to pay to live on a planet you were born on?"

Actually, the next painting I'm doing myself! And more people should!

And for "success", just do what you have to do because you know it's right!

People could get together more in business ventures for example, even for buying apartments etc. around the world!

  9. I would new two cars. One sports to take times in the summer
for fun. I want two houses. My home and a summer home in Washington State overlooking the ocean. Money in my pocket? I spend less money if I pay cash. So I tend to hold on to money and use credit to buy. It does make me feel better to have cash
when I'm out, especially on vacation.

  10. A lot of interesting questions where to begin ...
-- my birthday is coming up, I would feel comfortable buying something I want (versus need) and spend mmmm $200.
-- I normally don't carry much cash on me, I prefer a debit card in case my wallet is snatched or I lose is, so probably only $30. I wouldn't want to double/triple/quadruple it.
-- How much success do I need before entering an endeavor expecting to succeed? Hard to qualify/quantify what success is, so unsure about that one.
-- Homes - 1 nice one, Cars - 3, Vacations per year (hmmm, my weakness) probably 6.

  12. hmm 🙂 1 Home and several vacation apartments in Israel and in the world.

1 Elegant car for Business, 1 Party car, 1 field car and a jet!
and that segway thing - it rocks.
