Do Me a Favor?

Posted By: Randy GageJuly 17, 2018

Hey would you do me a favor?

I never got the chance to meet my dad or play catch with him.  So if you still have yours, would you let him know how important he is to you?

None of my grandparents are still alive and I miss them terribly.  So if you have some left, would you let them know you love them?

I’ve had four spinal surgeries, so sometimes it hurts just to walk.  So if you have the chance to dance, would you do one for me?

Of course I don’t mean to troll you or milk sympathy for myself.  What I’m really asking is that you live your day today with gratitude, recognize all the blessings you do have, and celebrate them in the moment.

Will you do that for me please?

  1. This is really touching. You are absolutely true, Randy. Embrace every moment with your loved ones while they are still around. Everyday is a blessing. Thank God and share love to others. All the best! Christine

  2. Thanks Randy, each day IS a gift and I am so grateful to be alive, well, and living in sunny Florida! Keep reminding us! One day at a time.

  3. I think we all miss people In our lives. Sometimes it's when we hear a song, or smell a scent, or sometimes it's that we have a good in our lives that we are needing to fill. Life is full of loss but it's our perception of what loss really is that determines the outcome. I do believe that living life in the moment is paramount to our experiences and their outcomes. Life is a journey and from the bottom of my heart know without doubt that it can not be fulfilling without God. The universe knows what it's doing. We only need to believe it. Hope transforms us. We just have to be hoping for the eternal things. Not the temporal. God transforms us as we receive and believe. All the voids go away when you get this and life starts to unfold in ways we could have never imagined.

  4. I lost my mum & dad at a time when I was diagnosed with breast cancer....I’m still here & I am grateful for every day I have I’m grateful for having had parents who loved & encouraged me to follow my dreams
