Debt and Prosperity

Posted By: Randy GageMarch 1, 2010

On Thursday’s post we talked about rewarding yourself with the good stuff.  And I promised to visit the issue of people that actually have the opposite problem.  They buy lots of extravagances and fine things, and don’t have the money to do this.

This is not prosperity, it is lack.  Because you cannot borrow your way to prosperity.  Debt is a prison and completely anti-prosperity.  So please don’t take last week’s series as a call to go buy things on credit.  It was a call to expand your prosperity consciousness, so you can expand your earning potential.

Remember all things that are true prosperity such as money, love, hugs, etc – are infinite.  So you can manifest more at any time.

So how do we manifest more money or other forms of abundance in our lives?

Through the power of ideas.  Which is where we will pick up tomorrow.

  1. Randy, you need to be teaching the UK Government a thing or two...
Your comment regarding "..you cannot borrow your way to prosperity.." is exactly what the most uselss of politicians are currently trying to do. Worst of all they are trying to sell us this poison pill as not only a great solution but the only way out of the crisis which they have managed. (note - they didn't create the crisis, as we all have part ownership of that)

Please get into the UK and start to give the politicians a good kick!

  2. I've been working for more than a year with the book Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and putting into practice the exercises there. And starting from a few days ago to apply that knowledge.

In particular, with regard to what today's post, at the time I was a person who spent too much in debt and giving me luxuries without having achieved first revenues.

For debt management and money have helped me a lot about books by Robert Kiyosaki. Especially I've learned to do with the management of debt and postponing the reward.

In other aspects of my life, prosperity has increased when I realized that the concept was not only economic prosperity, but familiar, spiritual, social, mental and physical.

But, one of the most important things i had learned, was that to serve many people as a i can, will produce more prosperity in several spaces of my life.

A special greeting from Cali, Colombia,

  3. Yes Randy, unfortunately I have lived the "fake-it till you make-it" lifestyle early in my life as I worked in mlm companies and tried to impress people that they should join me. Two words: DON'T WORK.
Thankfully now I am building successful companies first and then letting people see why they should advertise or do business with the companies. From here on out, I want to "walk-the-walk before I talk-the-talk." Great Blog Randy, keep up the great work.

  4. Randy, Ive been in 4 mlm's and my list is history. I'm in another mlm now but all hope seems to be gone because my list is history. Any ideas? I knew if anybody could help me...its you

  5. Thanks for the clarification that living beyond one's means is to be avoided! For a true sense of security (and accomplishment), get yourself out from under the debt wagon. Sense of security=PROSPERITY!

  6. Well now you've hit upon my favorite topic and accompanying book, "The Science of Getting Rich".. And I quote, "There is a formless substance which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates and fills the inter spaces of the Universe. A thought held in this substance will produce the image of the thought. A person can think thoughts and by impressing them upon formless substance can create the things he thinks about... The key is holding the thought, the Truth, in spite of all appearances.."

When Wattels refers to the key here, he's stating that the Truth is that the Universe is infinite in its riches. The piece I left out was that each day we must take effective action while holding a clear image of our vision knowing it's coming. Thought without action does not produce riches.

So yes, IDEAS that are crystal clear with action behind them bring us what we truly vision.

  7. "So how do we manifest more money or other forms of abundance in our lives?" <<<<<<<<<<< this is the question right? i got lost for a moment....

    reminding myself, "brevity." lol

take a deep breath and follow along as we take a journey... (not a good way to start off brief huh?)

the quickest, fastest and easiest way that i have found is to

    1. first an foremost BELIEVE i deserve it.

    2. get a clear picture of what it is... when the picture or idea is not clear the goal does not appear.

    3. in my mind, (imagination) i get inside it, experience it, like star trek holodeck experience it on all levels. (NOT "FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT") just like Tesla testing his inventions in his sleep, this is creation on a cellular and bio mechanical level.

for example, think about the last time you had a special initimate encounter. you remember the touch, the scent, the sound of their voice, when you close your eyes you can almost relive the feelings, emotions and the whole event. When you are eyes are open your whole body and mind long for that experience again. That is the level of experience i am talking about here.

    4. program my mind and body to respond as if this goal has been apart of my life for the last five years, and only now do i need to replace it, get it back to my life.

    5. let it go, dont think about it again, trust the universe and my unconscious mind to bring it to me, or me to it. at this point my conscious mind will just get in the way. best way i have found to get my conscious mind off the subject is extreme sports, ie. rock climbing, (rock gym) or parachuting, or mountain biking, or anything that need 110% of my concentration or i could be met with certain pain. hehehe... this extreme thing is my preference... not necessary though, there are better safer ways, but for me its the quickest. over the years i have learned to just turn off the thought or idea, and let it come back, there are some negative draw back to this technique.... lol... for instance i already FORGOT i reminded myself to be brief!!! damn it... lol

    6. follow the promptings of the universe, and keep an open mind to the possibilities. this is where most people fail, this is what i call the "failure zone" or the "1 yard line." dont ya just hate it when your fav football team just completed a stellar run down field, 4 first downs, and dominated the field, only to get to the 1 f**king yard line and can't complete a touch down? gggrrrrr

i hate it more when people, hard working, dedicated, focused, driven, deserving people with real life on the line make a stellar run down filed and get stopped at the 1 yard line, they are within reach of their goals, dreams and desires, and don't even know it.

works damn near 100% of the time...

i'd tell you how exactly to program your mind for the 5 year cycle... (not NLP) but then i'd have to disavow all knowledge of this conversation. LOL....

love ya... great post.... sorry i rambled... lol

  8. i'm back... brevity is out the window at this point.... lol....

it has been brought to my attention that it would seem that i am countering wattles, and hill and others about crystal clear vision backed by action equals goal fulfillment.

that assumption would be correct and not entirely incorrect at the same time.

to quote Sean from the TV series Psych, "i've heard it both ways." hehehe

i''ve seen driven motivated and focused people working hard on their goals, striving, pushing the envelope every day and still 10, 15 even 20 years later miss the boat. i have even seen good hard working men and women die before even one of their goals were met.

while i have seen others, who couldn't care less about anyone else, achieve their goals in a blink of an eye by comparison never working or thinking a single moment about or towards the attainment of their goals.

i think Hill had it correct and wattles of course as well... when they focus on the power of thought, then hill said to go and buy at least one good suit and shoes and go to where the people you wish to meet are. that is close... but not necessary. but i think for the times it was accurate, getting people to take action and NOT become lazy was his focus in writing that.

i have seen with astonishing repetition the attainment of goals WITHOUT working towards their attainment, and on the other hand so many people working towards their goals and not achieve. all other things being equal. the one and single deciding factor in my studies has been the single minded belief they deserve the thing they desire, coupled with fully expecting to achieve it.

i am NOT saying you should just sit around and attempt to manifest your ideal life. you will not become an internet millionaire sitting on your butt playing video games. or a world class race car driver sitting in a boat on a lake fishing all day, or a network marketing super star living in a cave in the middle of nowhere.

but i have seen stranger things happen...

    peace out....

  9. "So how do we manifest more money or other forms of abundance in our lives? Through the power of ideas. "

...and getting out of our comfort zone.

  10. follow randy's training... he is chalk-a-block full of ideas about this.....

there are others as well... wont mention here though...

also follow specifically my steps above it works... been doing it for many years....

here's a few examples.... (not horn tooting... just examples from my own life)

recently.... like yesterday i saw online and social net thing (not sure what it is really havent checked it out yet...) called drupal (Drupal is a free software package that allows an individual or a community of users to easily publish, manage and organize a wide variety of content on a website.)

i thought to myself when i first saw it listed as a social media site... "oh no not another one." i sat for the briefest of moments and allowed my mind to focus on bringing some more info to me... did not want to even put forth the efforts to search for it online. (i am so lazy huh?)

today at the mall (1.5 hours ago) a woman walking in front of me dropped a book from her bags. the book, about drupal and how to use and maximize it; it actually landed right on my foot.

standing in the smallest bookstore looking at the books on computers and social net and web design a
fighting back the urge to reach for the latest dream weaver monster of a book, as the sales clerk, attempts to put a new book from the shipping box on the shelf she slips off her stool into my arms, and the book in her hand is the same book about drupal i saw earlier.

another case: a basic american footbal.... (story cut for brevity)

another case. i was looking for another car, low profile an luxurious the car, color, price 300 yards from my house in 2 hours from thought to arrival (story cut for brevity)

another case in point. vacation a little R&R with 9 times the amount deposited in my bank within 72 hours of the idea
    (story cut for brevity)

from people i would like to meet, to silver ware, homes to cars, suits to shoes, and every thing in between. (story cut for brevity)

randy teaches these principles in his programs as well... look in his store you'll see.

its real, it not fake not b.s...

i was not a believer till one day about 15 years ago i was doing a coaching with a MLM top gun. and every morning he would sit and meditate for recruits as well as other things, it was almost as if he was psychic. at that time his life seemed like a living daily miracle to me, i could not believe my eyes. he's not a psychic, he just learned how to master this ability and uses it daily in his life.

believe me... if i can do it, ... you can do it... even my 19 year old son, who barely knows or understand these concepts, just blindly follows my advice, gets scholarships to colleges, had the chance to play varsity volleyball for a major university in his area he hadnt played volleyball since his debut game in Jr High, he stars in music videos, has his own band, too many things to list here, and he doesn't live with me.

its not impossible, you're already do it now, you just might be doing it in the opposite direction you want to go.....

i bet if you search online a certain someone has a free ebook explaining exactly how to do this in every area of your life. i won't plug anyone elses programs other than randy's but you could follow my steps above in an earlier comment and find a wealth of knowledge in a short period of time... but first, go to randy's store and get his program, believe me its worth every penny! and as randy likes to say, he needs the money... lol....

    peace out

  11. I believe that borrowing your way (through debt) to create a false sense of prosperity (through the things you have) will not lead to "true" prosperity, joy, and abundance in our lives. We were created for prosperity in all that we do. It's God's plan for us. We need to believe this first and then we can take the necessary steps with Him through us to make it happen.
    Thanks Randy.
    Make it a great day!
    God Bless,
    -ed
