Creating Your Life by Thought

Posted By: Randy GageJune 20, 2011

Most people have life happen to them.  Enlightened people create their lives.  And of course they do it by the power of thought.

You may think your circumstances are separate from yourself, but they are directly related to the world of your thoughts.  As you think, you travel.

When you become the thinker of the thought you become the architect of your life.  Stop believing in fate and start believing that everything can be formed.  If you want to change your life, change your thoughts.

Do you really get the grandeur, vastness, and power of this opportunity? I mean really?

  1. Not only do people have life happen to them, but they do it unconsciously.

The more I criticize some of my thoughts the less I blame others for my circumstances.

Just catching those types of thoughts, blaming others, have greatly increased my opportunities.

So yes I do see the vastness of this.

  2. I do indeed get it, and whatever I can do to pass it on to the next person, I will, just as you have made it your mission to teach there are many of us right along with you.

Thank You for the work you do, you make a difference.

  3. I think life is already predestined. It says that in the Bible. We have been given, free will, or choice, but to say that we have control over the outcome? Absolutely not. We are blessed by our blessings and we are measured my the size of our hearts. Who we are, what we say, what we do, are all measured by God. I have said it before and I will say it again. You can't fool God. The size of your heart determines what comes out of our mouth's and our actions determine our core objectives untimately. I am sorry to say that I am seeing a pattern of uncertainty with this blog. I guess that life is a progression as well as a mirror.

    1. Interesting comment Mary-Ellen. I suppose one's belief depends on what your perspective is on pre-destiny and what that means to you. I believe that what God has pre-destined for us is that we will have His abundance in all things. He has said that as he provides for even the smallest bird, how much more will He provide for those made in His own image. The limiting factor is not what God will provde for us, but what we BELIEVE He will provide. His love and generosity is without limit. Have faith the size of the msutard seed and know that all things are possible. :0)

      1. I love your comment Dee. What we believe... I think is where the creation begins. I agree, we are destined to be great. It's, US, that get in the way of it by making wrong choices and allowing, the devil,or our negative thoughts, to grow into doubt, fear, lack, anger. Life is constantly testing us to see how much our hearts have grown and the rewards of making the right choices are so amazing. They are where the lasting joy are found and from this place of peace and joy is where all the infinite gifts reside and can be found.

        1. It was getting rid of the belief in a god that really freed my mind. I stopped worrying about what god wanted, whether the devil was implanting thoughts in my head and just started to deal with the crap in my head. Realising that it was within my power to direct my thoughts was one of the most liberating experiences in my life. I've lost the shackles of religion, and with it the fear and the doubt that plagued me. I still get negative thoughts but now it's up to me whether I believe them or not. The idea of a god screwed with my head for such a long time but now I'm living into my dreams and able to celebrate all that life has to offer.

          1. I will pray for you. It's obvious the devil is working his manipulation skills on you. God is not capable of anything but love. It's not him in your head, it's the Devil. Don't let him win Kari. He's a master deceiver.

    2. We do have control over the outcome. Absolutely. Our lives are surely not predestined. We create them based on our thoughts. Our universe is created from thought or small sub atomic particles that are so small they come into existence when we think about something. When we stop thinking about them, they disappear out of existence and impossible to manifest. Hence the creation of thoughts to reality. Substitute good, positive, constructive thoughts over bad, and we control the outcome!

You shouldn't fool God, for God is the life principle within you.

    3. You are one of the very, very lost human. Your view about God is being shared by 95% of the global population. And it's one of the fundamental reason why most people are Dump, Unhealthy and Broke. Listen to this, and listen FAST. God does not deem you lucky or unlucky, your mindset does. In short, your mindset is directly propotional to the comment you have made. No wonder you are still Dump, unhealthy and Broke.

  4. If life was predestined for all of us, what would be the point of having the WILL to choose between right or wrong???

But, let's sat for argument sake life is predestined...

    1. Babies die at birth. If that really was predestined then what was the point in creating a human being.

    2. A person murders another and God knew it was going to happen beforehand? Someone is raped and God knew already and allowed one if his children to suffer? Someone commits suicide and that's the way it was suppose to happen?

No! God gave us the ability to THINK, to have the will to do great and know what's right and wrong.

Why do you think the 10 Commandments were created IF life was already predestined? That sounds a bit contradicting. Do we (who believe) in God think he would contradict himself??

We as intelligent human beings need to realize and understand the most important asset we all have inside of each of us:

Our thoughts. We think ourselves to be who we end up to be.

Murders, rapes, suicides and more happen because there are people who THINK AND FEEL they are in control of doing what's wrong, and bad out of selfishness, abuse of superiority and because they have the WILL to do so- not because they were already predestined to.

Be man or woman enough and accept the life you have now because of the WILL you have to make the life decisions you've made, and will continue to make based on your OWN thoughts... not someone else NO MATTER WHAT!

    Scott Lucas

    1. I completely agree with your analysis Scott. We are given cards, and the way we play them is our own choice. I believe it is far too easy to say that God or any supra power is deciding everything for us, so this way we are not responsible of what happens in our life. But we are. We all have the ability to think and to make choice, and to create a better life with the cards in our hands.

    2. Scott,
You make some very stong points. My belief is that we are given free will because if we did not have a choice, then God would not have the gift of our love. He could have easily said, everyone will love me, no matter what. It says in the bible that Gods thoughts are higher than our thoughts. He makes it clear that we have not been made capable of the higher understanding of cause and affect. We will not know or understand the precise plan that God is working until we are with him.

  5. If you really (really) feel God in your heart, you would feel that you are the same power -unlimited with no measures. No destiny, everything is possible. If we understand God like separate, out of us, we still doesn't let him come. I think destiny is process how strong we are programmed with mind viruses and how we can clear out our hearts of them.

  6. Raymond June 21,2011 at 10:36 am

We are what our thoughts are.So it is very important that one's thoughts be molded in ways that are more beneficial.

    It is crucial.

    Thanks.

  7. Trying all the time with ups and downs. Thanks for your posts, they always freshes me up and reminds that I am the only person responsible for the life I have and I am ABLE to create it in the desired way.

  8. What a great article - Love it - and getting there to be the architect. Actually that proces never stops, but practicing, you get better and better at it 🙂

  9. Randy, I really can see the immensity of this fact, it make me fell excited, is a huge opportunity to build a wonderful life, and I am doing it because I know the mission and birthright of everyone is to be happy.

    Thank you for reminding :):)

  10. Day after day, moment after moment, thought after thought...

    Redirect. Redirect. Redirect.

That is the game until a new way of thinking becomes second-nature - and it will... So, the trick is not to fall into doubt before the results are plainly evident. Hold fast - don't waiver!

    Believe!

    K 😉

  11. Yes oh Sage, Guru and all around amazing guy! I am in COMPLETE agreement that it's our thoughts that manifest everything and everyone in our Lives!

And as Wattles says in SOGR, "There is a thinking substance of which all things are made that permeates, penetrates and fills the inter-spaces of the Universe. A thought held in this substance causes the thing you think about to be created"

And what we also know via Quantum Physics is that thought is energy and it can be guided by thought.

So as you always tell us, be the Master of your Thoughts and be reminded that "What you think about, you bring about"..

  12. Mary Ellen

There is no need to pray for me. My mind is quite healthy now thank you, for the reasons given above. The devil is a fiction. And as for Yahweh he's a psychopathic sky fairy invented in the minds of men that didn't know any better. These days we have reason, science and critical thinking to help us make our way in the world. There is no need to call upon the supernatural to fill in the gaps in our knowledge.

  13. Change the way you think about things. It's the same as changing your thoughts, but it kind of sounds easier, and in a way it is.

It means taking the thoughts you already have, perhaps mostly negative, and think about them in a different way.

You start with what you have and go from there, changing one step at a time.

Turn a perceived negative into a positive, once every day.

Look at things from different angles.

Look at things in different ways.

    Change the perspective.

    Change your attitude.

  14. The key, I believe, is in 'thy will be done'. And the good book tells us very plainly what His will for us is... 🙂

Sooo...if we fail to have the faith in his will for our good health, abundance, etc. that's our own failure...not his lack of wanting those things for us.

If our thoughts and words are not matching his will for us..well, only we can change that!

Love your thought and action provoking posts Randy...keep shinin'...

  15. "If you want to change your life, change your thoughts." Now that makes sense to me. My inner voice asks the questions but it is my thoughts that provide the ammunition.

  16. I understand that changing my beliefs changes my world. I also am learning that changing my actions reinforces my beliefs. The devil is just error thinking to me.

I think God knows my life, but I don't so it is ok for me to choose what I want and I know GOd is alot happier to give it to me than I am to accept it.

  17. Hey Randy,
Absolutely true! But you have to admit that is work that has to be done.Especially when you're full of negative patterns. The greatest satisfaction is to notice how your thoughts take form and manifest in this physical world.

    Thanks for sharing,
    Radu

  18. That is precisely correct. God is not responsible when by conscious design or default we don' excercise the amzing gifts he has given us.
