Creating Prosperity

Posted By: Randy GageOctober 7, 2009

In Monday’s post I told you I wouldn’t obsess about studying some market or economic factor that could affect my prosperity.  Here is why:

Because I believe my prosperity is assured, regardless of what happens in the economy or any outside factors.  Depression or recession, economic downturn or bubble, once you have created a prosperity consciousness, you will always prosper.  The government, currency fluctuations, stock market ups and downs, or other economic factors have nothing to do with your prosperity.  Once you have created the right mindset, you prosper from all situations.

When the real estate market is down, you are buying properties.  When a currency bottoms up, you pick it up.  When stocks are a bargain, you invest.  I could go on, but you get the picture.

So it could be very possible that you would invest in oil entities, as suggested.   But never do this kind of thing out of fear.   The best strategy is to have enough information, act with reason, and operate from prosperity consciousness.

  1. Randy,
Again another thought inspiring post. What makes us "prosperity-conscious?" I think that's a fundamental question. But also one other needs to be answered as well. How do you define prosperity for you? Personally, I don't think having a bunch of money stashed away is prosperity but having enough food to feed my family and share with neighbors and friends is. Having a fancy car, while fun, doesn't help me out much when the grandma across the street feels lonely and alone. So for me, prosperity is defined by the quality of my relationships, not my bank account. Im blessed to live in a house that is fully paid for, I live close enough to my job that I can walk if need be, I can fish and hunt to my hearts content and I have the most wonderful people loving and caring about me. What more could a girl ask for?

  2. I couldn't agree more with you Randy!

Once you develop a presperous mindset, you see opportunities everywhere, every time, on every marketplace. Warren Buffet always buys low and sells high... I still don't understand why people don't get this!

When Nutella is at 50% off at the grocery...you buy the darn thing! And you don't just buy 1!!! You buy 2,3,4...10 pots! 🙂

Anyway, a prosperity mindset will always make you see stuff from an angle of "opportunity" instead of a "problem".

And the best part is that once you think prosperous, it's impossible to go back to a lack mentality... prosperity just tastes too good man! Like Nutella...

Keep up the good work Randy and continue "spreading" prosperity all over the World!

  3. Just be aware that saying things such as, "I don’t think having a bunch of money stashed away is prosperity" and "Having a fancy car, while fun, doesn’t help me out much" can repel prosperity. However your point about the broader aspects of prosperity is true. Just know that money and material comforts are part of the equation as well. Thanks for checking in.

  4. Nutella is a fantastic Hazel Nut - Chocolate spread that is a well kept European secret. Now available at selected retailers in your area.............. http://www.nutellausa.com/

It is applied to good quality bread or crepes as a fantastic fix for your chocolate habit!

    Hope that this helps....

  5. WHAT IS NUTELLA???

Randy, Randy, Randy- how can you travel the world and not know what Nutella is?

    http://www.nutellausa.com/

It's MUCH bigger in Europe than here, and I'm confident you're gonna like it quite a bit.

If I can't get Laura in the mood, I just spread some of this on myself, and Voila- satisfaction for both of us!

  6. I think what stops a lot of us (or maybe just me) is that in those lean time, the fear of loss can stop me from thinking straight.
I know that the entire universe is created from abundance, and there really is no such thing as lack, and yet the "illusion" sure seems real when I can't afford whatever it is that I want at the moment.

"Sure, buy stocks when they're low- of course, but... but... but... what if they go even LOWER!!"

  7. Ingenuity is buying 10 pots...keeping 2 for yourself (and you wife if your Bones) and selling the other 8 on Ebay for more then you paid, but less then someone else would get in their local store.
    Win win all around.

  8. Well said, Randy. I choose to not watch the news because of the continuous doom and gloom. With my husband getting laid off earlier this year, people probably look at our circumstances and try to figure out why we are so happy. I'll tell you why. Because opportunities keep coming our way. We're expecting them and they come, and we take action when they do.

Thanks for sharing your words of wisdom.

  9. Dear Randy,

I am so new in network marketing, but after watching your video and listen your motivational audio, I became Energetic and start to take different action.

However,I am wondering, how you managed to transformed your life from a dishwasher to multi millionaire? What drive you to do that?

And when you really broke? How you managed to rebound..

    HOW YOU DO THAT??

    Best Regards,

  10. Randy, this post reminded me of a quote I heard once about Howard Hughes, who (I'm paraphrasing here) apparently told some industrial bigwig that he never concerned himself with markets and commodities and such. The only thing he worried about was making sure he made more money that year than he did the year before.
And while he was somewhat of a nut, on this point Hughes was right on the money!
Thanks for all you do to lead the way.
    Bliss and blessings,
    Jacqui

  11. Guys and girls, this is a comment from Nutella Nation: - Germany! Every household in this place has one jug of Nutella standíng around, I promise. The stuff is delicious. I once devoured two 500ml jars with a spoon in front of the TV watching Luke Skywalker swipe Darth Vaders troops back in 1993. I don't do that often, very seldom actually. And it was a lesson. If you have an allergy to hazelnuts as I do (I found that out afterwards) and have creamed in a dosis like that, you will be spending the rest of the week in a mental daze ... so Randy, girls and guys - have fun but beware .. !

  12. Hey Randy,
We live in a world of abundance.
Prosperity is available with the proper environment
and mental attitude. Timing and positioning is important.
Give more and you will receive more.

  13. 🙂

I think what you say is what many people - including me - have had challenges with money...

Who am I to deserve success/fancy car/luscious holiday - when an old lady is sad and lonely...

Does it mean I have to spend my life limiting my joy/pleasure/riches to sit with the old lady everyday and bring her joy? Or is it also up to her to create joy and make the most of her life?

What about if I could take a glorious holiday, drive my fancy car... and then return with a sweet gift, or send a postcard that would uplift her... Then BOTH of us are happy, rather than me being slef sacrificing and not living to my fullest...

Love to you... and fun - cos you deserve to be happy and are worthy of the best 🙂

  14. I wish I'd been reading your blog when I was a kid Randy! Although you were too busy tuning into the local radio station and didn't yet know about your future calling as a prosperity blogger!

I love the fact that we can have it ALL. The little things and the big things. The more I study this stuff the more I can spot how people cut themselves off from prosperity with their choice of limiting words. It's because they fear failing isn't it so they don't dare to aim too high...

I say let's go for it and have as much as we possibly can to enjoy and to share.

Thanks for the wonderful inspiration and even though I know it already it is still so comforting to be reminded regularly of what is possible.
