Hey Randy
You are "ON PURPOSE" as usual. When I am in need of comfort, I find that helping others helps me. When you hurt, help, thereby helping yourself.
You know one of the most comforting things you can do for yourself, is to comfort others. When you do this, you tap into the infinite Power within you, and nurture your nature.
So be grateful for and seek out opportunities to offer hope, restore faith and show love to others today...
It may be calling someone you know is having a hard time, sending a note to someone, or providing temporary relief to someone in physical pain with an embrace. It may be holding someone in your prayers for highest good.
Or maybe, it’s all of the above!

Yes, it works. Because we are happy just where we love. Doesn't matter whether we're loved. It comes by itself.
You're a sweet man. I appreciate your words of wisdom.

Nice Randy !
I just spend some time giving food to a small cat from the street !
I agree with you, Randy. A kind word, unexpected greeting card, or a helpful pair of hands can mean the world to another human being.
In a future blog, could you discuss the differences between giving comfort and becoming enmeshed in someone else's painful or destructive situation? Or when giving comfort to others is a way to remain stuck in one's own painful situation?
Oh that will be an interesting one!!!

BTW, I think you might be the best person to write about that RG.
It's so refreshing to hear from and share with like minded/same hearted people....
Thank you for the reminder. I was really sad today to receive an e mail from the brother of a very good old friend of mine from Pensacola that I travelled with for a year when I was 18 with news of my friends death after a long illness. I am super busy but reading todays blog I feel moved to send words of comfort to his family before I do anything else.
It's too esy to be too busy to find time for others.
I am grateful for and seek out opportunity to offer hope...
Wow - I had some negative programming to weed out about hope! Great.

Such an appropriate post on this the 10th anniversary of the day after the attacks of 9/11 here in America. 10 years ago today everyone in America was comforting each other. There was no liberal v conservative, poor v rich, just human being to human being. Every one on this planet hurts the same way, bleeds the same way. We are either expressing love or crying for love.
Good tip Randy,
Whenever I feel blue I right away turn my attention from myself to someone. I ask myself : Who can I help? What can I give? That steers my attention away from "poor me" and I'm over my "problems" in an instant.
Keep 'em coming, Randy!
Hi RG,
Excellent note here.
Comforting others is comforting ourselves, since we are all One. Give love, receive love. Give freely, receive generously. Your energy picks up the other person, and picks you up, too.
I like wealthyrocketwoman's idea too. Where do we draw the line? Where do we embrace, and comfort, as opposed to offering a kick in the booty to push someone even further out of their comfort zone, into the "uncomfort" zone?
I feel our intuition knows the answer, but it would be cool to see your take on it.
Thanks for sharing your insight!

Great reminder Randy. It's important to become the change that we want to see in the world.
