Celebrate Life

Posted By: Randy GageJuly 25, 2011

After 12 flights with 70 hours actually in the air, I’m back home in South Beach.  And of course that means some adventure, air travel being what it is these days…

Cathay Pacific and British Airways both usually first rate, disappointed me with old planes and cramped beds on a couple of nine-hour flights.  Iberia had a mechanical, so I had 25 minutes to make my connection in Madrid.  But Madrid is one of the worst airports to transfer in, requiring you to go through passport control even on in transit connections.  Two thousand people in line, three windows open…

So of course I missed my connecting flight and spent an extra four hours on the layover.  Then the next flight from Iberia was delayed as well, so instead of enjoying Amsterdam, I got in when it was time for bed.  BA’s new terminal 5 at Heathrow isn’t new any more, but it’s still as mucked up as it was when it opened.

But you know what?  I’m still celebrating life…

I had a great trip, connecting with thousands of you who are on the path of peace and prosperity.  If I would have done that 70 hours by car and boat, it would have taken about three months!

We can choose to welcome each day with reverence, enthusiasm, and anticipation.  Even though you have work to do, responsibilities that must be met, and challenges to overcome, none of that need overpower your positive attitude of celebrating life.

Your life is not the things that happen to you, but what you make of them.  When you celebrate life, it dulls the experiences that aren’t fun to go through, and enhances the great ones.  The challenges produce opportunities and the opportunities produce prosperity in many forms.

Ain’t it great!

  1. Glad you are back home and know the impact you have on everyone you touch, teaching the way to reach for everything we want because we learn to believe we can.

  2. As for you the problem, the other the dream. If everything is so alive, then there is no problem. Just dreams. How much better print dream dreams. 😀

  3. Yes that is great! You are great! Thank's for the encouraging words. Lots of love to you :)))

  4. Randy, so true! In Uganda now and the journey here was, as expected, full of hiccups, but attitude and appreciation completely guide how it all "feels." A quick weekend trip to Kenya was another opportunity to say, "I love my life" even when things didn't (appear) to run perfectly.

    You are totally right.

  5. Hi Randy,

thanks for sharing your insights. I agree that's it's about responding to circumstances and not reacting to them.

That is the ability to respond - responsibility !

The only way to own our life.

    Take care

  6. I made my commitment to give back the 10 % last wednesday, though it was till sunday when i gave my part, the miracle started on saturday, sales at my store rose, its a law that works

  7. Randy, hello!

Glad that the flight ended, and most importantly not lost the power of the spirit. I am pleased to read your new book u0026quot;Network Marketing: foundations of success. This positive charge, which not only helps build a team, but also to perceive life with its problems, which are the steps to prosperity. And depend on me if I can overcome them and to enter into that world to which I aspire.

    Good luck!

  8. Hi Randy, such an exciting life! Once upon a time I worked for an international airline and we used to have a few jokes:- BOAC was 'BETTER ON A CAMEL'.

    God bless and good rest.

  9. Hi Randy

  10. Yeah Randy, no matter what happen to us, it's always about ourselves and our love for life, our inner peace, and our positive way of seeing things.

  11. Great post. True gratitude, the highest and most powerful form of gratitude, is when one is thankful and celebrates everything in their life, the good, the bad and the ugly, as all of it is serving me in some way.

  12. Mercury must have been in retrograde LOL. I got back from Montana excited, focused. Then my son crashed his car (cocaine involved), the cat died and my husband ran over the dog. All in one weekend. I'm telling everyone... give me a day, a nap and some chocolate and I'll be with you tomorrow better than ever. We have to take it in stride, don't take it personal. there's too much to be done to wallow. 🙂
