Capturing Momentum

Posted By: Randy GageJuly 14, 2009

In yesterday’s post we talked about getting started.  It seems that just getting a task or project in motion starts a chain of events that pulls us toward completion. But some complex or difficult endeavors take more.  And here is a funny thing I learned from working in network marketing…

It is easier to build a network (or complete most projects) fast, than it is to do it slow.  Really.  There is just a certain energy that takes over, a positive momentum that energizes you and carries you forward.  It’s like the “mojo” that happens in sports.

So what are you working on right now – that could use a jolt of momentum?

  1. Great post Randy. Love the blog, love your work!

I'm currently working on streamlining one of my businesses for more productivity and efficiency. I know what I want to do, but this little voice inside is telling me it's going to be a long process and hard work so I am procrastinating and putting it off!

Thanks for the post - today is the day I JUST GET STARTED! Thanks

  2. Very true Randy. The other thing to recognise is that it is far less painful to build a network marketing business fast also. Slow growth means small commission cheques, while momentum makes its way into your bank account!

  3. not really... you are right... momnetum is like gasoline , it is a drive to run... but..what is the meaning of fast??? quicly, right now, yes.... just do it...uf!!! why we have fears related with that??? Randy I really want to know you opinion about that , and of all the persons that participate in this blog...

  4. I would have to agree with you 100%. Fast is more fun too!! Another thing I love about networking is that if you have to put it on the back burner for a little bit (sick child, whatever) the minute you recommit to the work, the work rewards you almost immediately. You really can get back into the flow that fast- which again is why fast is better:)

  5. Well as you so appropriately said with regard to building a network, I am working on donig just that! And I'm not satisified with my progress, though I'm still learning the 'game'. I DO notice that when things fall into place the momentum is amazing and I'm sure it has to do with intention and 'letting' things happen rather than making them happen.

  6. well Randy Im working in network(Palinure international company)and i am sure about this company but What do You think about my work I wonder if you reply me...
    Thank you Azade From Iran
