Campaign for Evil

Posted By: Randy GageJanuary 21, 2012

How Money is Used for Manipulation and Mind Control…

Money is not evil.  Money is neutral.  But it does amplify what you already are, good or evil.  And it certainly can be used for manipulation and mind control for evil ends.  You are seeing some breathtaking examples of this in the current presidential primary election taking place here in the States.

But the lessons we can learn apply to people everywhere…

This election will be the most expensive, bitter, and divisive contest in our lifetime.  Money and mind manipulation techniques will be used to pit poor against the wealthy, and as a wedge between the races.  In you live in America, you will be assaulted with more manipulative programming in one year, than you have ever experienced in your life thus far.

So let’s talk about what you are already seeing, what you can expect in the general election, and how you counteract against all the negative mind viruses that will be swirling around the data-sphere…

We have to start with ABC presenting the interview with Marianne Gingrich on Thursday evening.  This report was unconscionable for ABC to air.  There was no real news value in an ex wife gossiping about her former husband from a divorce ten or 12 years ago.  None.

So why was it aired?

Money.  Or more specifically, the money that is produced by higher ratings, which produces higher commercial rates.  This was a blatant sellout by ABC for a buck, and another step over the line from news reporting to sensationalistic infotainment.

Now John King did the right thing asking the first question about it…

King is one of the most astute political minds on television, and well respected on both sides.  He’s a consummate professional who was doing his job.  The ABC interview was going to air that evening and other networks were already playing salacious excerpts from it.  John phrased the question so Gingrich could address it or decline to.

Now of course Newt took the question and turned it around to get not just one, but two standing ovations.  It was one of the most brilliant moments in any political debate ever, and will be analyzed for years to come by political pundits, psychologists, and marketers.

These kinds of retorts make headlines, and influence elections.  Remember when Reagan joked about not making Walter Mondale’s “youth and inexperience an issue,” or Lloyd Bentsen’s “Senator, you’re no Jack Kennedy!”

But those rejoinders pale in comparison to this one...

Newt shrewdly and deftly performed the most successful turnaround manipulation you may ever see in a political campaign.

Basically in one fell swoop he transformed himself from philandering swinger into superhero fighting the forces of evil, a/k/a the “elite” media.  He instantly goes from predator to innocent victim, and the Republican operatives in the hall ate it up.

Next let’s look at the Bain Capital issue.   In this case you have some of the Republican candidates casting aspersions on Mitt Romney for his role at Bain Capital.  It perfectly plays into the meme that rich people are evil and get wealthy by exploiting poor people.

In an election campaign, this is like shooting fish in a barrel.  Everybody knows all the problems in the world are created by rich people exploiting the poor.

But of course there is no basis in fact for this; quite the opposite...

Without venture capital firms, there would be almost no new businesses started.  Millions of jobs they produce would never be created.  And when a business is in the red, sometimes the highest good for all is to downsize some jobs, to allow the business to survive.  Some jobs are saved, and others may be regained in the future.  It’s not fun, and no one likes having to do it, but it is sometimes necessary to create the highest good for all.

Republicans claim to be the party for free enterprise.  For their own candidates to cast aspersions on Romney for making money turning around companies, is like Donna Summer chastising the Bee Gees for making disco.  This shows that when a primary election is on the line, the principles they claim to believe in go out the window.

Naturally this will all turn into sound bites and fodder for the Democratic campaign in the general election, should Romney get the nomination.   So don’t think I’m just singling out the Republicans here.  They’re in the news because they’re the only ones with a primary going on.  You can be sure the Obama team will try to frame the election as the populist reformer against the exploitative, venture capitalist blue blood, continuing to feed this class warfare mentality.

Appeals to inequity are powerful mind viruses, because they cater to the entitlement mentality of the masses.  The Republican challengers are using this against Romney now, and it will come back to haunt them in November when the Democrats turn it back against them.

The Corruption of the Process by the Super PACs…

These Political Action Committees now change everything, because they allow any campaign to attack another with impunity, and create the illusion that they are separated from the messages.  The money that will be poured into them between now and November will break down the political process.

This is actually a good thing, because it will take this happening to lead to real reform...

The McCain-Feingold campaign reform is kind of like Communism and Socialism:  It’s one of those ideas that sounds good, looks good, and looks good on paper – just don’t actually work in the real world.

It created the loophole that birthed these Super PACs, because it’s vital to our elective process to have freedom of speech.  But now these Super PACs will be (and already are) carpet-bombing the electorate with so many hundreds of millions of dollars of sleazy, undocumented attack ads, the population will rebel.

I predict McCain-Feingold will be repealed and we’ll get back to a more free enterprise system with unlimited donations from people who want to do that.  But people will have to disclose their support, and candidates will be required to stand behind and take responsibility for their attacks.

Race-Baiting…

There is no doubt that having a job when you’re young, positive role models to emulate, and learning independence are all vital elements of developing prosperity consciousness.  But don’t think for a second that Newt’s statements about the Food Stamp President, kids getting janitor jobs and entitlements are anything but race baiting.

Presidential primaries are all about collecting enough delegates, and the general election is all about the Electoral College.  So for Newt today, it’s all about winning South Carolina, and making a strong showing in Florida.  His hope is to outlast Santorum and get it down to a one-on-one versus Romney.  That allows him to claim the mantle of true conservative and paint Romney as the “moderate to liberal Governor from Massachusetts.”  To do that he needs Southern conservatives and obviously decided that thinly veiled race baiting is his best strategy to do that.

So what do you do to protect yourself?

Question everything. Notice the message and more importantly, the subliminal or subconscious message within the message.  Anytime you see money brought into the equation, analyze the context it is being presented in.

You should probably tune out and disregard anything presented by a Super Pac that doesn’t have an, “I’m X, and I endorsed this message” tag at the end.

Money is not bad, nor is it good.  It simply is.  It can be used to divide and manipulate, as you are seeing in this campaign.  Or it can be used to unify and inspire.  Don't let the way money is being used in this campaign to create negative beliefs about money or success.

Ultimately it comes down to becoming a critical thinker, noticing the manipulation attempts and rising above them.  No one can manipulate you unless you let them.

So what do you think?

Have you been paying attention to the subconscious manipulation taking place?  What about you guys overseas?  Are you watching the US campaign?  How does it compare to yours?  Please share your thoughts below.

  1. I'm loving the campaign. And watching stunned.

I'm surprised you didn't mention Cain and Colbert - who are doing a profound and awesome job of bringing awareness to the Super Pac joke. Also was has amazed me is Santorum - and his google name... How the power of a google campaing can associate someone with frothy matter!!!!

It's fun watching this all on the outside...

Ron Paul would be horrified that he got missed off your analysis here - with the media ignoring him, AND a Libertarian ignoring him too! Goodness!!!

    1. @NatalieLamb 🙂 If I was doing a political analysis, i would have certainly talked about Ron Paul. But since this is about manipulation and Paul doesn't do spin, he gets left out. - RG

  4. I admire your boldness Randy.Poverty isn't really a race issue. It's a human issue. Of all the countries in the world, America is the last place where it should exist, but it does. While many of the poor immigrants who came to America in the past did manage to overcome poverty, a lot of them hung onto this mentality. I know this, because this attitude has been passed down on one side of the family thru the generations. Even if one manages to overcome poverty, they are often stuck with the mindset. I dare say that many middle class, and even successful people have a poverty mindset.I apologize if my next statement sounds bad, but I am not quite sure how to explain it:The main reason poverty tends to be so rampant amongst blacks isn't racism, although racism is sadly still very real, much like homophobia. At the end of the Civil War, little was done to help the freed slaves integrate into society. As they had been subjugated and had their lives so rigidly controlled, it was difficult for them to adjust. This is my take on why far too many blacks live in poverty- a victim mentality passed down from generation to generation, only further pushed by hated filled people and people who gain a great deal by preventing someone from rising above their circumstances. It is as if a great deal has set them up to fail.

  5. I'm voting for Ron Paul by the way. Only person who wants to improve things rather than pandering or lying.

  7. I will say, while I don't agree with Obama on a lot of things, I admire the fact that his family was not willing to give into the circumstances and raised a son who became President. Some middle class people aren't even willing to help their children succeed.

  9. Excellent piece, Randy. It shows very well how clear your observations are and how clear your thinking is with objective observations and no partisan bias. Good work.

  11. Have you started working for CNN or Fox. What is with the Media blackout of Ron Paul? Fox just cut him off today again for calling them out on media bias. He won on the CNN polls but got mentioned once in the post debate discussion. The other 3 got an average of 80 mentions each. They ditched their own poll and put out the results of a phoney poll that only allowed white, over 50, over $50k income to vote. All day on the news the ration of Ron to the others is about 200-1. He is clearly second in delegates and Santorum/Newt are not even on many of the ballots missing out on over 500 possible delegates.

That is why I know Ron is the right candidate because the media is scared to death that he could actually win.

The other 3 are following exactly the same policies as Obama. Mitt supports NDAA, SOPA, Obama care, gun control, more spending, more wars, patriot act, the FED, the IRS, bailouts, Tarp, 25% taxes and everything else that Obama supports

    1. @WDavidC I had the same question; of course I now thanks to his reply to Natalie I understand why RG didn't discuss Ron Paul ...Congressman Paul does not even engage with lobbyists; he simply cannot be bought.

  13. Too bad I couldn't vote for Stephen Colbert.. at least he can say his dim bulb, right wing nut agenda with a straight face and remember more than two programs he wants to get rid of... makes for heelarious must see viewing Mon-Thurs nights!! Just his take on his super PAC and the ludicrousness of pretending the candidate doesn't have a say in them... bring on the hilarity!!! Nation! now folks...

    1. @napadavid It's scary when the fake news is more truthful than the real news. The Daily Show and The Colbert Report usually seem to be more honest to me.

  17. I LOVED this post! Having said that, I am not really following the campaign (being a Canadian), with my current focus being on my 'turn around' before moving my focus outward. This might seem confusing, but within this post I found the seed to making a million $$.

As I had read what you wrote I could just feel your passion. I found myself getting interested about debates I had not seen and situations that are just not on my radar.............. MY NEW MANDATE is to find something I am this passionate about, and dig in!

Thank you for sharing your energy, your life flow, your passion, and a bit of yourself with us!

  19. Randy, the political situation is you have am told from your articles. Targeted at it I'm focused. What you wrote here, if I miss the names and specific cases, fits in my opinion to many other political environments. I think that politics and the church is trying to influence the masses, so that denigrate the successful people. I think that this creates artificially struggle. The struggle between rich and poor. And the government, church and other media that want to retain the "power" just help to make this fight. We all, here's what we can change this in a way that we go into the streets and we will spread our beliefs about the absurdity of this struggle. The fact that we are all equal. The fact that we are one big family. Human beings. How to change the fight in peace? I think the strength of our beliefs ... Focus on peace, peace manifestation of our hearts. This time and situation, we have created a collective consciousness, leading to expansion. Expansion of the collective consciousness. Stimulate awareness of inner strength and awakening of the population. I feel your energy... Energy to change all system. Randy I believe that it will. It is on the right way and close to the big changes not only in states but all around the world.

  21. Randy, spot on. The toughest part about the elections are trying to understand who stands for what; without listening to all of the mind-poisoning negativity.

  24. What an astute post Randy. Being in advertising for over 35 years, I know first-hand that political advertising is some of the nastiest, scumiest type of advertising & promotion that there is. And to be successful, you have to be able to turn the traditional rules of marketing and advertising upside-down, and be ultra-devious to be successful. And now that these PAC committees have been approved to throw unlimited amounts of money behind a candidate, there's no telling what we're in for.Its up to each of us to do our due-diligence to research all the candidates on their background and political positions, in order to vote for, and elect, the best candidate possible.May God bless America...we're ALL going to need it this year !

  26. The same things happening in Russia. We have presidential elections in March 2012 and we had elections to the Parliament in December 2011, and then lots of protest, crowds of people going out to the streets in Moscow, lots of slogans advanced by different politicians...

So people's minds are also being manipulated in Russia.

  28. Whoa. I feel like going somewhere and crying. I have been following the primary race and it is interesting. With so much propaganda it is hard to know what to believe. How do we know? Yes, we should question everything, but where do you find the truth? Hmmm, I guess we just kinda know in our hearts when we really question everything.

Lobby's and PAC's decide to some extent who will run for office. And then once a politician is in office they are beholden to the money they have received. That has got to stop. I believe it will change, people are starting to talk about how evil this is.

Randy why don't you run for office. I really think we have to start having people who are smart and not career politicians running for office. Also, I think the presidency itself should be done away with. If you really think about it, how ignorant is it to have one person running a whole country. I am for a presidential panel.

I would love to see a presidential panel, that invites the opinions of those they are serving. A lot of people don't agree with our welfare progams for instance. I couldn't agree more. But, you know what? People other than those who need assistance, come up with these policies. I think it would be a surprise to many people to find out just what the will of the people actually is. Not the will of a few with power.

  30. I agree also Randy about John King. I really like that guy. I think he should have asked Newt that question too. I mean it was hanging out there, and it helped Newt to answer it. Of course, then I thought maybe the whole thing was a set up. I don't know. I hate to think a serious journalist would do that. But, who knows?

Enough with the politics and personal sex lives. Newt, is a big hypocrit anyway. He really enjoyed Clinton's Monicagate. I think both are revolting and I don't want to know about the sex lives of these people. I don't care what they do and I don't want to have to even think about what they are doing. I mean YUCK! Who really wants to think about Newt....ewwww

  31. I detect a defense of Mitt Romney, and find it disturbing. This man ran for Mass. governor and had to go so far to the left that he destroyed his chances of ever representing the GOP with any degree of integrity. And now he is one of a quartet of cartoon characters: 1) A serial adulterer who was kicked out of our government by HIS OWN PARTY due to lack of ethics. 2) A religious fanatic who has zero understanding as to why our founding fathers established our constitution -- a man who will tell us what we can do in our own bedrooms. 3) A Libertarian who has zero understanding that it was deregulation which brought this disastrous economic plunge we have experienced. 4) Romney, who can't open his mouth without betraying his lack of understanding of the man who has to work for a living. How can any one of these creatures be defended?

    1. Trust me, I am not defending Mitt. But I am suggesting to attack him for being successful in the free enterprise system is hypocritical, foolish, and certainly against the principles of true prosperity. -RG

  34. Seems from the comments that people are getting sidetracked from the point of today's post by the example used to illustrate the point.

This post is not about politics, it's about money and manipulation. It's about the fact that money is not good or bad, it just is. It's about critical thinking.

  36. Excellent post, Randy! The crucial point is that "No one can manipulate you unless you let them." That's why I listen very carefully to what the candidates say, but try my darnedest to ignore the commercials and spin.

Sadly, even after the elections are long over, powerful interests will continue to try to manipulate us. Battling mind control is a never-ending struggle.

  38. You know what I find interesting Randy is that you watch all these political news programs, when I was under the impression you were like me, in that you don't watch TV at all. I cut the cable a long time ago, never read newspapers or submit myself to any type of media, which in my eyes, is nothing more than hype. And most all media is focused on LACK and what's wrong, rather than the millions of people with purpose who are making a difference. You have to watch PBS to learn about them it seems. I don't buy into any of this crap myself. it's all rhetoric anyway. My two cents. Thanks for posting.

    1. @Jonathan1
Yours is an interesting post Jonathan. I cut myself off from all media as well for about 7 years, and I have to say, I was super positive, energetic and of the opinion that I would succeed at anything I tried.

I started a business while unaware that the dogs in the street were howling that there was about to be a crash. I didn't know anything about the impending disaster I was about to set upon myself. I ignored advice that didn't suit my thinking, and within 36 months I was broke and massively in debt. I even bought a house right at the top of the market. And all this from the business I'd been successful in for over 25 years.

Looking back, I can't be sure that, if I'd been aware that the guy I used to listen to regularly was blue in the face advising of the upcoming bust, I'd have listened. But I do feel now that if I'd been listening to him and reading his stuff, I may have tread a little more carefully. Today, I live in fear of missing something, so tune into all the crap radio and tv news so that I can assess whether it's safe to go outside or not.

A double edged sword there I think.

I just re-read this. I think it's time for some therapy.

  40. With all due respect, Randy, i disagree about Newt. He sounded like a jackass, as usualy. Even my wife thought so and she is a die hard republican (Iam an independent, formerly a rep). Newt is a smart guy and he had to know that question was coming first. It was a staged response and showed hin angry yet again. Newt, you commited adultry with two former wives. It's all fair game. Lastly, I find it amusing how republicans are bashing someone, Romney, for how he made his fortune. Obama is loving all of it.

  42. As usual, your take on the current political scene is right on the, er, money. This is surely one of the most divisive, polarizing and negative campaigns in my memory. Sure. Political campaigns are not for the thin skinned or faint of heart. It's a real mess, though.

  44. After the 08 election I was so saturated with political gibberish I needed a cleanse. So I'm glad I got rid of my TV this time around. Get rid of your TV guys and gals. Believe me, you'll still know everything that's going on. I do. But I'm more in control of how it is delivered to me. Who can watch all those negative commercials in between programming and still feel good? Yikes.

  46. The political process in the USA is facinating and in many ways captivates folk around the world. IN fact, it is one of the top news stories each day here in Australia. Sadly here we have the least statesmenlike crowd of poiliticians of any country in the world at the moment (and in that I include the degenerate states around the world that are imploding at the moment),and certainly the worst mob on all fronts in my memory.

It is an embarrassment to listen to the babblings of our crowd in world events as if they are somehow superior to the rest of the pesidents and Prime Ministers around the glode. They do this because currently this country is doing "well" as a result of an unprecedented resources boom.

Still while the figures look good the truth is that this country is socially, politically, financially, structurally and plenty of other "ally's" in a mess. We will be hit far worse by any meltdown than most of the countries that will melt down because our fundamentals are shot to shreads: other than for resources.

But, if you listen to our mob of pollies, you would think we are the most amazing country on the planet and that they are responsible for making it so.

They are now looking at altering the way that our candidates are chosen and one of the models is a lot like in the USA.

It is disturbing to see and hear, even in a far distant country, the "crap" that these guys(n gals), trot out. At the base of it is the paucity of their own self image and personal strength. Whilst they bound around like they are God' gift to all, and perhaps they are...but that kind of cockiness combined with their obvious foibles makes them appear didtastefully fake and false.

WHat is important in a politician? What is desirable in a liberal democracy? What is best for the US not the ME? What is it that a great country like the USA really wants and needs in its leader? What is it that the WORLD wants to see in the leader of the USA?

  48. Honestly, love you guys or loathe you, most of the world looks to the USA to produce not just leaders but LEADERS. The majority of countries seek some form of assurance from the USA and that of course means the president. Sadly, the idiocy of these primaries and the muck-ruckiong does little to enhance the view that aberant countires have of the USA. IN fact, it is easy to see why such countries view the USA as a country of morons with no morals no right to stand on its high horse and no validity in its stance.

Pardon my own ranting Randy et al, but would'nt it be simpler to stick to the stuff that counts and get the hell outta peoples bedrooms, histories and little black books. I have aspried to political office, and won't dare to stand because of the skeletons in my closet. (none of them earth shattering I might add, but not for the public arena either!)

In a democracy, it is the people who count, their votes should reflect that. At the moment the people need to recognise the mistakes of the recent past and the rubbish of the now. Seeing through the babblonica of the primaries to choose a candidate and then the hyper-rot of the presidentials is an almost impossible task. The reportage has a lot to answer for and good luck to everyone in their quest to see the forest for the trees, because at the moment the window through which you are looking is smeared with horse doo doo.

    Love to you all.

I think you're being a little disigenuous in your defense of Newt .. and how it was a great comeback.. make me puke.. do you forget how he went after Clinton.. and now he yelps when he gets called on his so called lack of morals and hypocrisy with his second wife letting people know what he's really like...hey, what's good for the goose...

And that thing about Romney killing to jobs to save jobs.. make me puke again... remember Wall St.. why do you got to wreck this company? Because it's wreckable!!!... ahh nice.. and greed is good...

  52. Randy, I was reading about McCain -Feingold, and you are, well kinda wrong. For one thing that was not the bill that actually passed. For another, the whole reason we have I "fill in the name" approve this message is because of the bill that was a result of McCain-Feingold bill. I am not really sure why you call it communist or socialist? Do you?

Anyway, I was thinking, you use your money to manipulate and control. Have you just decided you do it for the right reasons? Does that make it okay?

You are right that money is not evil, it is what people do with the money that gives it a human nature of good or evil. That was kinda the point of Avatar, which you have argued so much against. .

Anyway, I think you want to help people, but you kinda of use mind control too. I don't know Randy. I think you should still run for office. But, I don't think I will vote for you. 🙂

I watch Bill Maher. I don't agree with him all the time, but he was talking about people like you last night. People that make money telling others how to be wealthy. He said the big secret is that they are getting rich off us. They are making money off of the people who go to the seminars and speaking programs. I had to think of you. But, I also think you have made money other ways, and you really want to help people. I hope I am not just being naive.

    1. @Annieb

I hope that Randy makes millions selling his advice to other people. Same goes for Robert Kiyosaki, Zig Ziglar, John Maxwell, Anthony Robbins and all of the other great thinkers and motivators. Why shouldn't Randy make money off of people who go to his seminars? Does you shoe store make money off the shoes you buy? Of course, and you should hope they make lots of it. If they didn't, you'd be barefoot. No one is going to make shoes if they can't make money at it and no one should have to shell out expert, life-changing advice without getting paid for it. The personal development industry is big business AND SHOULD BE. People who need it and want it should be required to pay for it. And, by the way, Bill Maher says this is a secret?! I certainly hope not. I hope the world knows you can make money at giving advice, and LOTS OF IT. Maybe then we would see the best ideas come to the marketplace. Maybe then we could begin to move away from the entitlement, "why-should-I-have-to-work-for-anything" mentality that is shackling this country.

      1. @Rod B@Annieb The problem is that the PD crowd is full of gullible people who think going to seminars will give them "the secret" to getting rich. This is how it's marketed to them, and they eat it up.

Seminar addicts abound - people who go and keep going back for feel good high from the the hots that Randy and all the others are so talented at unleashing. I don't think there's anything wrong with that per se. Nobody is forced to pay money to get get rich advice. If you have to charge your credit card, every time, to attend a feel good seminar 3-4 times a year (yes, I know people like that) maybe your teacher hasn't made a good job of communicating that you're actually better off staying home and not racking up more debt. People have to somehow spend their unearned money, right?

Why do people think they have to pay big bucks to get this info anyway? Randy has been saying for years that "As A Man Thinketh" is the book that changed his life. It's a free download on the internet. It's written in English, the language Randy conducts seminars in. Highly priced PD seminars are for suckers. But then there's an abundance of those.

        1. @Kayaustin @Rod B Thanks Kayaustin, I like your comment. I have an old browser, so I can't seem to work the like button! But, I agree.

        2. @Kayaustin@Annieb

People DON"T have to pay big bucks to get PD info, but many choose to. They would rather have someone teach them rather than do the research themselves. What's wrong with that?! Are people who pay Weight Watchers for a program that they could do themselves also "suckers"? People who hire personal trainers?

Why not let the free market determine whether or not these seminars have value? If they're worthless, wouldn't at some point people stop going and paying?

        3. @Rod B @Kayaustin I sent a reply, I don't know what happened to it.

There is nothing wrong with people paying for seminars. Especially if it helps them. I think that is great. I think Randy does want to help people.

However, I am not sure that Randy is always honest about his background information. I am talking about the manner in which he gets people to follow him.

Randy says he is a high school drop out and a shooting victim, and blah, blah and he still made it big. He has revealed he went to college. His brother made it clear last year on a blog that he may not be telling the entire truth about his shooting.

My point, I think he uses manipulation to get his message out too. His message mostly is not evil. And the part I think is evil, I don't think he feels the same way about.

He instills memes in us, just as the others. And like the politicians he uses sound bites, and other forms of persuasion for us to follow his beliefs.

So, my question is, is it okay to manipulate us if he thinks he is doing good?

        4. @Annieb "His brother made it clear last year on a blog that he may not be telling the entire truth about his shooting." What the Hell are you talking about? I think you need to re-read what he wrote again. - RG

        5. @Rod B Rod, the problem is that by the time the free market decides (that is a person realizes they are no better off, results-wise, long term, for having attended a seminar), a few new suckers have already been born, lol. I love the free market, I want Randy and other PD gurus to make oodles of money teaching people how to get rich. But don't do it in a manipulative way then act as if some type of manipulation is better than another, ie political manipulation is somehow evil while PD/Spritual manipulation is more enlightened. Or something.

Sure people must take personal responsibility for themselves and own their own choices. But the fact is that PD gurus are incredibly powerful in persuading gullible people to spend tons of money for a weekend high touted as a "life changing" event. But really the only lives that are changed are those of the said guru in the form of a fatter bank account. Just look at the poor fools that shelled 10K to attend a death camp with James Ray....who gets convinced to part with 10K to attend a supposed wealth seminar? Really? I'd wager that anyone that has 10K laying around isn't stupid enough to give it to someone to teach them how to get wealthy. Duh.

In any case, I love Randy and he's electrifying and no doubt authentic. It'd be nice to see a guru that actually takes responsibility and puts people before money.

        6. @Randy_Gage Okay, sorry Randy. I tried to delete my comment. I started feeling very cynical yesterday. American politics does that to me. 🙁 Your work does help people, so I guess that is all that matters.

        7. @Kayaustin@Rod B

as far as the OD manilpulators - you're leaving out personal responsibility. Turning over your entire life and savings to someone isn't being manilpulated - it's forfeiting responsibility to someone else, so you can just blame them

  60. So Newt wins South Carolina. I guess it proves that to evangelical Republicans in the south, it is better to be a sleazy christian, than a real morman.

  61. It is reported the same here in Sweden. But this has always been a problem with money, all seem to have problems that relate to money in this country. But there are the socialist stronghold of the earth, without being communist. Political debate has focused almost exclusively on class struggle. The Socialist leader resigned yesterday and not a single word he said was about his own failings as a leader, not party politics. but class was the reason, he found himself mobbed by the media for his backround sake. He came from a working class family and the naughty nonsocialist media made fun of him.

    1. @Joakim_Eriksson The idea of Classism is disgusting. I personally think that class warfare is something people CHOOSE to engage in, often out of their own fears and prejudice, which they rarely, if ever question. After all, it's so much easier to hate the "evil rich people" or (at all levels) repress people who dare to better themselves, rather than even attempt to do something awesome on all counts. The solution to the problem is clearly not the Marxist "the little guy" vs. "big evil rich person". (As in people interested in holding up Capitalism)

    2. @Joakim_Eriksson The idea of Classism is disgusting. The idea that one group of people is to be subjugated for the benefit of another is sick and depraved. Clearly this is what Classism enables. Class warfare is something far too many people choose to engage, often driven by their own fears and prejudices, which are often not questioned. The solution to the problem is clearly not the Marxist "the little guy" vs. "big evil rich person" forced "equality" or lobbying the government in order for your business to stay "competitive". The only real solution is a free market economy, where people provide value for value. Taking from anyone to give to another is clearly evil, as the two extremes of Fascism and Communism are, which unfortunately are the extremes of Right and Left Wing ideologies in many countries. Both Communism and Fascism are all about centralized control. One is for the benefit of a small group or even an individual and the other is "for the people" in name only. Both seek to strip individual men and women of their right to pursue what they value and enjoy the fruits of such value. After all, it's so much easier to hate the "evil rich people" or (at all levels) repress people who dare to better themselves, rather than even attempt to do something awesome on all counts. Many problems in life seem to be linked to money. Money itself does not create nor destroy problems.I will say it is immature to treat someone who does not share your beliefs or background poorly. Unfortunately, people can be extremely judgmental.

  78. Yes Randy, our German TV-news show pits of parts of the political race from the U.S. and they´re quite neutral about the campaign. They talk less than 1 minute, show photos and headlines and maybe 1-2 sentences of a speech. Interesting. Always. And fair.

And you´re absolutely right with what they present to your folks and how they use manipulating tactics to get into the spot-light to be seen.

E.g. our politicans, they don´t have money for their campaign at all and so the press digs out info about cheating and/or borrowing money from wealthy friends or getting it under way better "circumstance" than the folks can borrow from any bank. They lose their face afterwards. And some lose their high paid jobs. The press diggs as long and as deep as they can to find their nugget. And then kick ´em out, which costs high tax-fee. In France you have to have a mistress to get onto a political path which leads up high. The French President talks to our Councelor like: "Angela, I love you. Please agree...." - she is called "Madame non".

Our politicians get in trouble by accepting e.g. free vacation-invitations from wealthy people.

Randy, you should run for Governour one day!! Not only I want to drive on a street with your name on it - one day! Go, make it happen - and enjoy your great day.

  80. I am allways use the "kitchen knife" example for money. If you have a
kichen knife, you can make a breakfast with it. Or... you can kill
multiple person with 42 knife wounds. So, is the kitchen knife is a bad
thing? Who is bad? The kitchen knife, or the person who use it to kill?
    What
do you have to do, if you want people to suffer the lack of kitchen
knife? Easy. Show them tons of people in the media, the tv, the radio,
the news, the new papers who do serial killing with kitchen knife. Show
them how kitchen knife is the REAL danger, and only evil people have
lots of kitchen knifes. Tell them if they buy one more kitchen knife,
there is someone in the world, who can not buy because of them.
People soon gonna be suspicious for people who have lots of kitchen knifes. They don't think they maybe have a restaurant, where the kitchen knifes serving other peoples. They gonna think it must be some evil thing happening behind the scenes.
    How ridicoulis is this?
You are wrong Randy. Money is not neutral. Money is a tool for make our days easyer. Like the kitchen knife. If the kitchen knife is neutral, you probably don't care if you have, or you don't have it. But its better, when you have kitchen knife. You can slice peppers for your kids. So its definietly a good thing.

  81. You can also tell
them it's spiritual to not have a kitchen knife, because kitchen
knife makes people evil. Tell them the kitchen knife kill peoples, not
    the peoples, who use it.

      Read the opening line again

Randy, you should run for Governour one day!! Not only I want to drive on a street with your name on it - one day! Go, make it happen - and enjoy your great day.
