Bulldog with a Bone

Posted By: Randy GageDecember 14, 2012

Man we like to hang on to injustice!  We love being the aggrieved party, and telling all our friends about how we were wronged.

But what’s wrong with that picture?

If you’re complaining about your ex-spouse, getting cheated in a deal, or someone who wronged you – unless you’re talking to a trained mental health professional, you are wallowing in victim-hood.

Your mind can process one dominant thought at a time.  One.  That’s why you so often hear me say, you can be a victor or you can be a victim, but you can’t be both.

Choose wisely.

By the time most of you are reading this, I will be winging my way to the other side of the world.  I will be spending a few weeks in Bali and the Hawaiian Islands, taking a much-needed vacation.  In the meantime, I’ve asked some of my friends – an all-star cast in success coaching – to share some of their insights with you here and on the Prosperity TV channel.  So check back here every weekday for a new post with something exciting to learn.  I’ll see you on the other side.

  1. Maybe it becomes our identity...being a victim... we have to give it up to change... to forgive others & ourselves... to be grateful for the lessons we learned... and to be grateful for the people in our past, present & future.

and maybe there are past hurts we are trying to resolve... by repeating them... so it may take a trained mental health professional to help us ... to re-frame them... tell a different story... a victor story instead of a victim story... how we are now a better person...
or even the way we look at the past & present... an exercise in "The Magic" re-framed lack of money worries to realizing we always had food, a place to sleep, clothes, electricity, etc... to gratitude.

Wishing you an amazing vacation & Holidays 🙂

    1. I think most of the world has been victim to an unhealthy way of eating... an experiment that failed... the result is heart disease, diabetes, obesity, arthritis etc...

so we need to change it to a victor story...

  2. Other way of saying you can be right or you can be rich! But you can't be both. Thanks Randy! Have a exciting trip! 🙂
