It’s a love/hate thing. First, I love to confront people about the hypocrisy, lack and negativity in their organized religion because it’s such easy pickings. It’s like shooting fish in a barrel.
On the other hand, I hate it because so often they have such a knee-jerk, emotional response they can’t interact back with you with any logic or sense. They’re so defensive of the dogma they’re defending, that they can no longer think rationally.
So I broached the subject in yesterday’s post with some trepidation...
I feel called to do so, because I see organized religion as one of the guiltiest perpetrators of lack and limitation programming in the world. (Much worse than even subliminal media programming.) Millions of people are mired in victim mentality and poverty consciousness because of the core beliefs they learned from organized religion.
Most organized religions are a long way from Godly principles. There is nothing Spiritual about the hate and intolerance spread by many of the fundamentalist factions. Many are just typical cults, led by fanatical people who are mentally ill.
And for you to really experience the breakthroughs we’re looking for here – you must counteract the lack programming you get from anywhere, even if they come from your place of worship.
One of the scariest things about programming is that most of your core, foundational beliefs are in place by the time you’re ten years old. This is particularly true of most religious beliefs. And since many of them are fear-based and emotionally charged, most people never question them the rest of their lives.
So what about you?
What are the core beliefs you have about prosperity and abundance? Do you believe you are born worthy of health, happiness and wealth, or were you programmed that your rewards come in an afterlife, or only after meeting some requirements of a higher power?
Please give that some serious thought and check in below. Then we’ll continue the discussion in some future posts.
