Being Great

Posted By: Randy GageApril 12, 2013

You can get the job done.  You can meet the criteria.  You can honor the commitment.  Or you can be great.

Being great is a decision.  A decision not just to do what you’ve said you’ll do, or are supposed to do – but to do something amazing.

Being great is an attitude.  It’s an attitude to do the best you can.  An attitude to leave your comfort zone and grow yourself.   An attitude that good enough isn’t good enough.

Being great is a way of living.  Being great is a culture.  You’re great because being great is just who you are.

Being ordinary or being great is a choice you face dozens of times each and every day.  Dare to be great.

  1. In My life I call "Being Great" as "Focused Intent" which polarizes the direction you need to go and leaves the method and means to the infinite source of all things (by whatever name you use).
This also sets up a dialog with your other self (or higher self) as Napoleon Hill stateds in Outwitting the Devil.

  2. We only have 1 day at a time, no more. Shouldn't we choose to make that 1 day the absolute best for ourselves and those around us as we can? My goal is to leave everything and everyone around me better for having known me.  Thank you for making each of my days better!

  3. Yes, absolutely, dare to be great.
And dare Not to be sustainable. What an abomination that little insidious word that simply means mediocre.
Be great, be tops, be first, be best, be unique, be you.

  4. Every one this planet has a dream of being great, a super star or a hero/heroin which is great to dream big. Most have great ideas but the most dangerous thing they let their good ideas to turn into dreams. not because they can not perform but they have a weak mind set. Strength begins from the head and then it flows in the heart. "the new currency are ideas" love u all

The new currency is action not ideas. I am a millionaire in ideas. I am poor in action.

  6. Hi Randy!
I am a Tajik from Uzbekistan. Can you give advice? I have a $ 7,000 debt, where to get'll never know. Please advise me what to do. With sincere wishes for peace and prosperity Ravshan

  7. Not settling for anything less than greatness is critical to property investing success. There are plenty of good deals out there. But I've always been motivated to chase and nab the great ones!
