Becoming the Best Version of Yourself

Posted By: Randy GageNovember 5, 2018

NOTE: This is Tuesday’s post, but I’m putting it up early, as I’ll be on planes for the next 15 hours and not sure if there will be Wi-Fi.

Last post we discussed challenging ourselves to do greater things.  And if we take it deeper, I truly believe that following this philosophy will ultimately lead to the greatest “assignment” you have in your lifetime.  Which is…

To become the highest possible version of yourself.

That’s it.  Everything else is redundant.  Because if you strive diligently to become the highest possible version of yourself – all the elements of prosperity will manifest.  Vibrant health, healthy relationships, spiritual harmony, wealth and success.

Make sure you really understand that this isn’t about competing with others, or judging yourself against them.  The goal isn’t to play basketball better than LeBron, play the violin better than Ray Chen, or sell more books than J.K. Rowling.  That's their job.  Yours is simply becoming the highest possible version of yourself.

  1. This this message came a perfect.
    Thank you.
I have developed an affirmation to review daily about how it is OK for me to not be perfect

  2. Simple and succinct, but probably one of the best posts you have ever done. It seems like everyone, myself included, is trying to be as good as some famous person, another sibling, one of their friends, etc., when all someone needs to do is become the best possible person he or she can become. And another part of this equation is it doesn't matter what someone else thinks you should become. It only matters what will make you the best person you want to become.
