Are You the One?

Posted By: Randy GageOctober 6, 2010

In The Matrix, everyone is looking for Neo to be “the one.”  Even in the real world (or at least we hope it’s real), many are looking for the guru, shaman, leader, or government official—to protect them and tell them what to think.

That is what makes you different…

You know that it all begins with you.  You are committed to being “the one” for you.

So as you look at your responsibilities for today, know that you are capable of doing them,  Universal power flows through you, bringing you the vision to see clearly what you must do, the energy to attempt the task, and the discipline to fulfill it.

You can accomplish infinitely more than you might have originally thought, because you have innate talents and abilities that you have not yet tapped.  They are latent energy, waiting to be called forth.

So as you plan your day, and even what you will do next week—be bold, daring and imaginative.  Go for greatness, because you are worth it!

  1. Thank you for a beautiful reminder, Randy!

I was reading Jonathan Livingstone Seagull again last night and I just love the ending where Fletcher Seagull realizes that he is just as powerful, just as special and just as divine as his friend Jonathan, and everyone else for that matter.

We've got the power & we have to use it to create beauty, greatness and prosperity in our lives!

    Have an awesome day, RG!

  2. a teaching from Bob Proctor - God has given you more gifts and talents than you'll ever know and it's your gift to him is to use them to the best of your abilities.

  3. Excellent Randy..."Universal power flows though you."

Getting caught up in day to day activities often prevents up from remembering that fact. We are born unlimited and remain unlimited until we accept the idea we aren't unlimited.

Thanks for sharing and have a fun day!

    1. Here, here. Worthiness and belief in oneself is such a huge issue. Everyone is great! My mission is to help more people realize that.

      Peace,
      Linda

  4. Thanks for the inspiration Randy.. Always a welcome message.

As I work towards my goal I encounter road blocks of various types and need to remind myself that I AM 'the one'. And this will lead to doing my affirmations which in turn leads to producing extraordinary results.

    Thanks so much!

I love that whole paragraph - wish it was short enough to tweet. It's beautiful & so empowering.

It's going on my wall - thanks rocksta!

  6. You know it's not real Randy. 🙂

In Tibet, Monks go naked in the snow. At high altitudes. In temperatures 20 to 30 degrees below zero. Yet, they are warm. Their skin, unfrozen.

    How do they accomplish this?

    Easy. Hyperspace work.

Of course, they call it something in Tibetan.

The mechanics are the same. Mental work.

Open the 90% of the brain and 97% of the DNA that you do not use. Open up the God-Mind within you.

Think about it. Would YOU hire someone who only uses 10% of their brains and 3% of their bodies? Your boss did.

Go for more. Reach for that pie in the sky. Make your dreams come true. Actualize your potential.

  7. The most people can't find their own personality. They always follow somebody. And there are people who always decide for everyone. I'm not sure, that both consistences are good...

  8. It takes work to not get caught up in the mindset of setting goals and reaching higher objectives and basing those goals/objectives on past performance. Thanks for the great message Randy! There is a great book I read a while ago that I need to read again, which I believe is called You2 (you squared). It's a great read on taking it to a completely new level, not just incrementally.
    Awesome Challengers too!

  9. I find so many people today have the attitude of entitlement, looking for someone to take care of them, give them the breaks, bring them to their destiny's. It's great to have people in your life that encourage you and support you, but it's up to us to reach our full potential and to get in front of the mirror and look at ourselves when we are not growing instead of looking for someone else to blame it on. I always go back to the saying, you are either growing or you are dying, so get out the shovel and dig a big hole or spread your wings and enjoy the journey, either way it's your trip and your choice. Hope you choose to soar.

    1. Mary-Ellen, Randy,

Driving yourself can be difficult, especially when people around you, especially people who care, and have never evaluated their beliefs, or what others have taught them, don't quite get the importance of art and creating value, and believe that you're delusional and greedy because "normal" people don't live lives that move them, and you have to give up yours for the good of society/security.

(I have been accused of going Republican. Think neither side is good for the world. People need to be treated well, but choosing between the true "Robber Barons" and Government ownership doesn't seem right to me at all.)

Many creative types fail to make an impact not because they lack talent or drive; it's either not sharing their work due to fear/criticism (which is much harder for creative people to take), the belief that being successful doing something artsy is next to impossible, or their work does not speak to others. (It's TOO personal), another is, (no thanks to American culture), that you have to do it all before 25.

Many electronic music artists (Moby being a prime example) and hip hop stars are in their 20s or 30s when they have succeeded.

"America's Got Talent" was won by a 30 year old singer, who sang from his soul. Something no one else did. And, we can't forget about Susan Boyle's belated fame or JK Rowling, who forged an empire based on the story of a boy who lived.

Great Art is like pop music- it speaks to us in a Universal language and connects us to a time and place. However, if it's TOO derivative, no one is going to care about it in 6 months, and you have to evolve with the world around you. Something which every aspiring rock star or business veteran could learn 😀

Yes, we all can live without creating something beautiful, and without experiencing life fully. but that is half a life. After all, it doesn't take a lot of resources to keep yourself alive, and there are plenty of people who are willing to decide how YOU should live your life if you allow them.

What about your mind and your soul? Even Jesus said "Man does not live on bread alone."

Yes, during the times I am experiencing right now, I am happy to have family and friends, and be able to see beautiful sunsets, and hike, etc, but you know, I really want to get behind the wheel of the Maserati I customized online. I want to wear clothes I like, not what's on sale or what other people tell me I am supposed to like.

I don't ever want to see someone who is talented go unrecognized or be exploited because they want to make a living or even become wealthy making something, so, surely, a media company which treats people like human beings should be created, to provide value AND show people that art and entrepreneurship can go together.

      It's my dream anyway.

Is there any good reason someone creative or anyone with a great vision can't be successful AND happy?

      1. Hi Tom,
Sounds like you are passionate about your idea and helping people. Thought I would suggest the website for creating a blog if you were not on the webinar last night for social media. Great stuff and this might be a way to get your idea out there to people with a common interest. http://www.specialfreeblog.com. Randy, please correct me if this is the wrong site. Thx.

  10. Sorry...sent by accident. Start over.

I should have read this post BEFORE I planned my day- would have saved me from having to redo my plan.

  11. Great post Randy,

I AM the one who has taken my success to the next level because I BELIEVE In ME. I have tapped into many mentors who provide me with the mentorship that is needed to bring out the greatness within me. Just like you Randy, you have dedicated your time to mentor me through your books and CD's.

If everyone would tap into the material already available to us ALL we all will be the ONE people are looking for.

Thank you for all you do.

  12. I read in a post a little earlier that people today have this great sense of "entitlement". This is not a new thing and not limited to the working class. Take us back to "Divine Right" Monarchies where Kings said they were ordained as kings because of the will of God. Is this no less being entitlement oriented? The difference is that if you are King, people believe in your entitlement and if you are poor, no one believes you are entitled. This happens because society accepts this notion through the masterful art of sheep herding. Master the art and you can and will be King!

  13. Summative and developmental assessments are often nurs fpx 4050 assessment 3, however the plan decides the strategy. Characterizing the issue is a significant stage in the critical thinking process. It permits you to acquire a complete comprehension of the issue and assists you with finding arrangements all the more without any problem. While characterizing the issue, make sure it is understood and exact.
