Are You Choosing Wellness?

Feeling great isn’t just a physical thing that happens to you.  It is a choice.  And as we discussed in the last post, the choices you make have far reaching effects.    

There is a continuous healing presence in you.  An innate intelligence that works constantly to heal, nourish, and regenerate you.  If you get still, you can feel this revitalizing energy inside you, and direct it through your body.  You can affirm it out loud.  And you can encourage it to strengthen.

So why not choose vitality today?

  1. Well I'll make a Biblical reference or two, In Genesis God says he would make us in His image, So God is self-healing and we as His creation have that capacity. Unfortunately people are killing themselves with their SAD (Standard American Diet) and if you've every tried to market a nutritional product I once heard the epitome of stupiidity when the women responded; "You want me to stop eating at MacDonalds and swallow some vitamins and minerals? I would rather die first!" If only she understood how true her statement was. So yes we can choose vitality. We also have the admonition to treat our bodies like a Temple and most ignore this too. We have people spend 1 week writing in a Food Journal documenting everything they ate. Many stop just after a few days because they become so conflicted with what they know is a proper diet and what they are really consuming. It takes alot of calories for the most part to maintain a 300lb body weight. So once again it come down to choices. You can choose to have health and vitality or not.

  2. Nearly 3 years ago I was diagnosed with Prostate cancer with a PSA reading of 20 (Anything above 4 and you are in trouble).

    After discussing the options with my consultant I said I would follow the words of Hippocrates the Greek Physician regarded as the father of medicine who said 'Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food' SO! I radically changed my eating habits and now have MANY More than the recommended five portions of fruit and vegetables a day. Our evening meal alone never has less than 7 different vegetables. We have fish and a little chicken but no other meat and the rest is all vegetarian wholefoods.

    My PSA soon dropped and is now stable at not 4 BUT 0.4!!!!

    I have never felt fitter and had more vigour (I am 77 going on 35) and my consultant who I have chat with every six months says, 'Whatever you're doing keep doing it!'

    By the way cancer cells THRIVE in an acidic body and the typical western diet is highly acidic which causes MANY health problems but they HATE living in an alkaline body which can easily be achieved with a mainly vegetarian diet.

    I also cut out all dairy products which cancer cells also love and of course we do not use a microwave which kills the nutrition in food.

    If you don't believe me look at some Kirlian Photos of auras.

    Compare the auras of foods cooked in different ways. A light steaming shows the brightest most energetic aura but food from a microwave has no aura at all!

    Recently there was an article in the press about a science student who conducted an experiment watering seedlings and plants with tap water and others with water boiled in a microwave and then cooled. The plants watered with water from the microwave withered and died in a day. That made headlines in the UK.

    We ARE what we eat! How can we be anything else? Every cell our body has a short life span ranging from a few minutes to a couple of years or so and as they die they are replaced by new cells formed from the nutrition we absorb from the food we eat.

    Eat junk food and you get junk cells which lead to a junk body.

    We all have a choice. I put my h ealth first and thr amazing thing is that foods which I used to LOVE as a 'Treat' now repuls me and my body instinctively knows what is good for me. I think I'm becoming an animal!

  3. Yes, we all have such incredible vitality within us - it's a matter of awakening it & choosing to feel it & making the decisions to optimize it! Richard, wow!! Congratulations on your beautiful health & wellness - I'm so happy for you! That was great info! Thank u for sharing it. I've been focused on keeping my body more alkaline too.

    Today, I have already been to the beach to watch the sunrise & meditate, went to the gym for spin class & just finished legs, back & abs - I love exercise! Now a brown rice protein fruit smoothie! What are you doing to keep yourself healthy today?

    It's a choice & like success in all areas of our lives, it takes knowledge, discipline & action! Make the right choices my friends! Without our health, how can we enjoy the rest of the beauty in our lives? Our health & wellness is vital!

  4. If more people realized that our bodies generate over 350 BILLION cells daily they would do well by asking themselves, "Who do I want to be tomorrow?".. The best answer of course is someone healthier, more vital, energetic, flexible and free of pain.. But not changing how we live, and what we do to nourish, fortify, vitalize and restore our bodies to a state of youth and excellent health results in the same old thing.

    So yes Randy, it's clearly a choice. And it's one of the reasons I am now, and have always been so passionate about health and wellness.. For me, it's all about renewal at the cellular level..

  5. LOVE IT! I went out last night with a friend to see Loverboy -an 80s band. Sat a table with another couple and the woman commented to me that probably wasn't even born yet. I thanked her for the compliment and told her I graduated HS in 1983, then I told her the key was awesome antioxidants, great skin care and grateful attitude.

    Wellness is awesome!

  7. The saying you are what you eat is so true today. That's also why I partner with companies involved with researched, natural supplements that when added to a healthy lifestyle will help to keep you and your health on the 'good foot'!
