Accepting Abundance

Posted By: Randy GageMay 25, 2012

Interesting response to the last post about the extravagance account.  Lots of traffic, “likes” and shares.  Thank you for that.

But an interesting thing…

Only about one in 500 people actually made a declaration and named what they would have the account for.

Makes me wonder…

How much of that’s people’s shyness to post public comments  -- and how much is it people with worthiness issues who won’t give themselves the gift of something abundant?

Just wondering…

  1. I find that dreams usually come quicker when I don't tell other people until I have achieved them (unless they can directly help to achieve it).

Usually we either tell people our dream and the energy dissipates or we wait and show the results of our dreams. The excitement to show it to people is like a turbo charger.

  5. Seems to me the clearer we are about what we want, while appreciating all we have is the real key to accepting abundance and manifesting it. I make NO qualms with the fact that my vision is EPIC as are the things in it.  Believing as if we already have it also is important.. It's so close I can taste it NOW!

Extravagance account? The Universe has been building it for me for years and I'm about to receive it!  And then comes the home on the Bay, cars, travel, Academy award, and most importantly, inspiring people all over the world through the media we produce!

  7. Hello Randy!
Can't answer that question for anyone else, than myself. I've just turned around my success in life and in business, the tippingpoint you talk about. So for me the smallest things like buying nice clothes for myself, shoes is some of the things on my list. But also bigger things like going to the Mastermindevent in November. Buing books I've wanted for a long time (just did that). Along the path to success and prosperity these will change. I also want so bad to connect with someone in my MLM Business, be able to travel, and actually feel I'm part of a team. There are a thousand things in different areas that for me would be extravagant. Most important are the things that will get me closer to my goals.
Lots of love to you from Denmark.

    1.  @Leeloo I'm not sure what's going on in your life, Leeloo, but I've worked hard to create and focus my vision on how I want my business to grow and what I want to receive from my success. Over the past 3 months, my client base (I'm a consultant) has tripled in size and now includes a billionaire who I work with weekly. My income has quadrupled and will continue to grow.

I'm very grateful for the guidance that Randy provides, for it has drastically changed my thinking over the years. And I'm grateful for like-minded people who are achieving what they want and aren't afraid to write it down. Is this the "chatting" you're referring to?

      1.  @Mary Miller Hi Mary Miller, I am happy for you that you are on the stable track and moving forward into abundance since quite a while, and now I am really glad I wrote this comment you were catching so we get to read some other comments than those of who still struggle to get life straight, like me -
I am almost broke because I don´t own the matching criterias the world needs and I have to find my niche for survival -  so thanks for your prosperity story!

  11. I thought about it and I love the idea of an extravagance account, but I don't have a set intent for it in these moments, because by the time it grows, my intent will have changed to be something at that time...So, yes! to extravagance and dreaming, although I don't have a specific intent.

  15. OK mine is a Carribbean charter boat cruise.  Not a big cruise ship - a small boat that has only 4 couples on it.  It's chartered by a husband and wife crew that do everything, cook etc.  They go to the local beach bars not the touristy ones (my favorite!), you can alter the cruise as you see fit.  If you like one place a lot you can stay there longer, dont' like it move on.  If you like to dive or snorkel, you can do so while we're traveling with pit stops.  A total chill trip with nothing but bathing suits (or not  LOL) and flip flops.  A dream I've had for years now.  The account is set up now and we began our first deposit this week.  One of the best things and you'll appreciate is...the charter boat I want to take is called The Ocean Jedi.  It's a once in a lifetime kind of trip (at least at this stage of my prosperity)

  17. Hi Randy,
If I were to declare the what for of my extravagance account here now, it would just be a confirmation of  your doubts. So I will not do it.
However, I will point out that I need not impress anybody by telling the world when  I really need to do a thing. It comes down to how much faith I attach to that enterprise. So, I have an extravagance account and the world will know what for when I do it. For my loyalty, I can tell a community of friends. But not as a reaction.
Thanks for giving us subject to think about.

  19. Probably invest in my education of music performance..  I didn't post because I have worthiness issues..  I'm working with it through A Course in Miracles.   This week as been especially rough.   I feel as though its because I'm finally being honest to myself.  There is some retaliation, and a sense I need to control myself..  Its funny when I look at it now.  We will see how things improve...  🙂  Thanks Randy for bringing this up!

  21. It is S.A.D. (Standard American Diet)... eating a lot of food that is low in nutrients... depleted soil, chemicals, processing food & taking the remaining nutrients out, cooking food and taking more nutrients out, eating higher on the food chain (animals) instead of lower on the food chain ( vegetables, fruits, herbs, etc)... I don't think we are accepting abundance...

Water... drinking tap water... or even filtered tap water... has chemicals and so much "stuff" in it ... instead of getting water from a spring. Even drinking out of plastic can be harmful to us. I found a spring about 45 minutes away from me and the water is free... not processed... no added chemicals etc.

I am focusing on my health... on what I eat and drink because I have had Candida. And that is taking a real commitment to do.

"Candida overgrowth in our body causes sugar cravings. This yeast form loves sugar as much as we do and the more we consume the non-nutritional (empty calorie) foods, the more we (and the candida) will crave it.

According to a study from Rice University, 70% of American’s have an overgrowth of yeast and bacteria in their systems."

    (from http://blog.healinggrapevine.com/detox-health-news/how-to-keep-candida-yeast-and-fungus-away/ )

So that is what our diet, medicine, etc is doing to us... candida (and other diseases).

Sugar and alcohol cravings are symptoms ... because alcohol is a sugar. I am allergic to alcohol and yeast so I don't drink alcohol... if I do I get very sick. I heard David Wolfe say something about that if you are allergic to alcohol you are an alcoholic. That alcoholics are allergic to alcohol.
So I think that craving sugar/sweets/breads/soda/etc and craving alcohol may be related.

Dr Cousen's also said in another talk I heard that 85% of alcoholics have hypo-glycemia (they drink alcohol for sugar cravings...alcohol converts to sugar) He has seen a much greater success (10 times) for alcoholics when they are also treated for hypo-glycemia.

Sugar feeds Cancer also. I had a couple of close calls with skin cancer so need to stop feeding those cells.

I watched "Simply Raw: reversing Diabetes in 30 days" where Dr Gabriele Cousens put diabetics on a RAW diet ... with amazing results. http://www.rawfor30days.com/themovie.html

I am not diabetic but I need a low glycemic diet like diabetics... so I am eating a raw diet that is low glycemic. Some RAW foodists eat a high glycemic diet... and some people may be able to eat higher sugar diets if they are the right type and don't have  candida, cancer, diabetes, etc. I heard the majority of people need higher protein or higher fat ... a small percentage can eat a high carb diet. I think it is up to each of us to find our unique optimal food plan.

Give yourself the gift of health. Only you can do it.

        1.  @BerniceRaw read Live right for your blood type!!Great book on diets.I am in the best shape of my life aside from a few injuries from working to hard in the past.Health wise i knock that shit out of the park!!

        2.  @blair_dean I did read it and it is not right for me... I know people with same blood type as me who do well on different ratios of protein/fat/carb... and I can get all of those being raw...and I also take supplements.

I also heard that Blood type A lives shorter lives if they are eating meat... so that may be true in that book...but it may be not the best for all A's to eat high carbs/sugars/breads/white rice/etc... thinking A's may differ in the amount of protein/carb/fat ratios per person... and raw or vegetarian doesn't mean no protein...
and I don't think it is not true that blood type O eat meat.
(the research is: blood type A should not be a carnivore... dies 25 earlier)

another book "The answer is in your blood type" is 100% research based...I have not read it yet but was recommended over the blood type diet

Live-it vs Die-it. Eat Live food to Live.

  24. Hi Randy

For me it was a case of both. I chuckled when I read it and I thought that it was so 'you'! I spent some time after reading your post to actually think about what I would use the extravagance account for. Initially it would probably be shoes. Shoes that I want but don't need. After that, when the account grows beyond my appetite for shoes it would probably be for dinner in top restaurants, then weekends away somewhere in a 5-star hotel with some pampering, holidays overseas and beautiful cars.

The worthiness issues hit when I started thinking things like "Another account? How many accounts am I supposed to have? One for investing, one for savings....blah blah. Do I really want to open another bank account for that?" I know that if I don't, I probably won't put any money in it. I had a coach once advise me to stop using a bank account and use piggy banks instead and put coins in them everyday - my month's commitment a day at a time. I found this way too frustrating. I kept having to empty the piggy bank to get change, then to make sure I hadn't forgotten  to make a deposit. It was supposed to be better for my subconscious. It actually drove me nuts. I went back to using a separate bank account and making a transfer every payday. It worked beautifully before and it does again now.

I 'decided' a couple of months ago that I would open a special bank account for contingenicies - so that I have cash for things like the washing machine breaking down, which happened recently. Now Randy, yes I am tithing, just in case you're wondering! It's not as much as I would like, but it's a start. The interesting thing is that I still haven't opened this account. Once it's been opened, I know that those deposits will happen every payday. It will psychologically call me for deposits. So I guess I know what I need to do. Just go open the bloody extravagance account and stop giving in to my limitations!!!

    Love you Randy.

No man is an island .You must be willing to speak up and sometimes hear how stupid you sound. This will only happen in the presence of people at a level your trying to attain too.It can be so stressful befriending people who have different beliefs than yourself/myself but it will get done when the Desire is High enough.Being poor is and fat is just not cool or fun.

-->> we need more of this 🙂

    11. I thought about it and I love the idea of an extravagance account, but I don't have a set intent for it in these moments, because by the time it grows, my intent will have changed to be something at that time...So, yes! to extravagance and dreaming, although I don't have a specific intent.

    13. I eat the best food ever (raw super foods, super herbs, etc), I drink the vest water ever, I live my best life ever... every day is the best day ever!... Eat, drink and be Merry 🙂
