What You Accept

By Randy Gage in Critical Thinking, Success, Prosperity.

I did a service at Unity once titled, “What Will You Let God Give You?” The theme was worthiness and how much of your prosperity is determined by what you think you deserve.

It’s why I always suggest people read my Accept You Abundance book before my other ones. You can’t be treated for prosperity; you have to be open to receive it.

And this same principle works in the other direction…

People can only exploit you, abuse you, or take advantage of you to the degree you allow them to.

What you’re getting in your life right now – good or bad – is determined by what YOU accept.

Can you say BOOM!

    Boom boom meow!!

True 100%. That’s why complaining is such a victimy & futile activity. Everything in our space & our life, we choose & we allow. This truth freed me from my self-imposed limitations.

    Muah!

  5. I accept I am right where I need to be in my life…it’s great to be going on 60 and having my whole life ahead of me.

  6. BOOM!

Sometimes the truth can hurt but it can be the doorway to good, if we allow it to be. Until and unless we are willing to take 100% responsibility for our life, and everything in it, we are not in conscious control of it. Responsibility is the ability to respond.

I know the theme of this post is more about understanding the truth of our worthiness and breaking the self imposed damns we’ve made to allow the flow of Good that is our birthright and all that but for some reason (maybe the way you closed the post) I’ve got the theme of As A Man Thinketh in my mind right now too.

I agree the book Accept Your Abundance should be among ones first reads (and re-reads) on the subject of prosperity. Great book! Short, easy read and simply too important not to pick up & spend some time with. It addresses the biggest issue most folk have.

    that’s my 2 cents 🙂

    1. oh and hey RG I think you have a typo in that last line there. I think you want “is” to be “in”

I spent the entire day in court yesterday because I chose to finally say ‘no’ to accepting less than what I deserved from an ever-present person in my life. Less support. Less respect. Less honesty. Just … less.

I must have sat through 10 cases aside from mine – each one with a petitioner who had the courage and determination to stand up for what they believed they deserved – some got everything they asked for, some did not, but …

I guess all the waiting gave me plenty of think time, and the conclusion I arrived at while I was sitting and watching case after case be heard is that it is not just about the settlement the petitioner gets out of the order of the court … although I’m not going to lie – the validation soothes the soul a little 😉 … but it is equally, I think, as much about the opportunity that is offered to the other party to take a look at themselves, to learn, to grow and to change … if they are truly interested.

When any one stands up for themself, everyone has the potential to benefit.

His Holiness says “Accept and Surrender” and when it comes to accepting the Abundance that’s infinite, it takes letting go of the limiting beliefs as you’ve said so many times.

I allow myself to receive all the Blessings the Universe has to give to me..and..

I let Go and Let God (taken from “Daily Word”)

BOOM.. BOOM.. BOOM! (sounds like a John Lee Hooker tune, yes?)

    Hi Randy

This is a really thought-provoking post. I think on a surface level, we would never think that we have issues of deserving but on a deeper level most of us do. Not that we think we are horrible people who deserve nothing, but more of a ”why should I be special”-type thinking. Amazing what resides deep in our subconscious mind and how it affects us.

    Hi RG,

We are at the center of it all. The abusing, the allowing, the in between. If it happens, it has its origin, in you.

Gotta go within and clear to see any changes in the without. If you feel you don’t deserve it, how can anything else happen in space and time? Nope, you gotta feel deserving, to let something in.

As for being someone’s door mat, go within. People only treat you according to how you view yourself. Self-esteem boosted, powerful thinking posts never go to the low energy places of desperation, neediness, etc to create a doormat type situation for themselves.

The creator, creates it. The creator is in you. Get that one down and you are gonna BOOM your way to absolute freedom….Thanks RG!

Boom! I always believe that if you choose not to allow anything you don’t like , to affect you emotionally or physically you are already a winner within yourself. To be able to not react and remain very at ease at unpleasant or horrendous slings at you indicate a high level of maturity.

Yes Randy, have to be open to receive it… By expanding consciousness, working on myself everyday…realized that I deserve everything. I was thinking about it… And I asked myself: Is there anything more you defend, to receive everything you want? I made BB Ceremony and released this stuff. Realized that I am infinite. What do I imagine under this term? This I create … At the same time I realized that my hapiness is in the present moment. That I love myself, life now and I celebrate all these things which I see in my mind. I know that I will keep going expanding my consciousness more and more… and working on myself everyday. I want to thank you, because you inspired me all the time, you helped me find my own way… You helped me be person who first ask myself to answer. BIG THANK YOU

Open and receive! I would like to add Gratitude and receive! When I saw a multi-millionaire giving thanks for his food, it was a huge lesson to me. It works for me when I started to be grateful of whatever I am having. It opens up the prosperity channel!
