Prosperity Dear Friend, Yesterday we talked about another important issue at work for prosperity; the principle of attraction. This is based upon the reality that you attract what you think about. So I asked you to think about what you think about . . . Are most of your thoughts about money prosperity based? Ex: visualizing a new car, creating wealth, etc. Or are they fear based? Ex: wondering how you will get the money for the rent, etc. Most people without a lot of money are having the fear based thoughts. The smart ones—the ones who will soon have money—think a lot of prosperity based ones. They do things like affirmations, getting their picture taken in a car they want to own, and other similar things. They dream big dreams. Along the way, they inadvertently invoke the principle of attraction. Here’s how it works . . . Or at least, what I think. Remember that I told you a few days ago, I’m not sure how all this stuff works, I just know it works. So here’s what I think . . . You decide that you want to be more prosperous, and you construct a poster board Dream Wheel. You put a picture of a red Mercedes on it. Every morning and every night, you walk by it. Sometimes you notice it consciously. Other times, you don’t even notice it, but it’s in your peripheral vision. Each time, it makes an impression on your subconscious mind. You are “imprinted” with this desire again. When you’re driving to work, you notice every Mercedes you see. When you catch a glimpse of a red car, you look to see if it’s a Mercedes. Each and every time you see either one, you activate your desire again. The dream gets stronger... You want it more, so you have a stronger emotional attachment. It becomes more believable to you. You start to attract it. You talk about it with your friends more. Because they know you want one, they start to point out when they see one. They tell you about times they saw one when you weren’t there. For your birthday, they get you a small die-cut model of one. Another friend picks you up a card or brochure of one. Your belief that you will own one gets even stronger. Without even realizing it, your actions change. Because you’re starting to believe you’re going to get your dream car, you start to take the actions that will create it. Fear dissipates, and is replaced with anticipation. Instead of fearing sales presentations, you look forward to them, because you know they take you closer to where you want to be. You actually attract the people and circumstances that will help you manifest your dream. That’s the good news... Unfortunately there’s also some bad. Because the principle of attraction can work the other way also. You can attract tragedy, misery and lack to you, just as easily – perhaps easier – as you can abundance. So what about YOU? Which one do you think you’re attracting in your life? Think about it. Really. And we’ll talk more tomorrow. Until then, have a better than dynamic day! -RG P.S. If you’d like to know more about this whole issue of manifesting abundance, I suggest you get my “Prosperity” audiotape album. And if you already have it, but haven’t listened in a while, can I suggest you give it another spin? You find all of the prosperity principles we’ve been talking about the last two weeks, and lots, lots more. Find it at: http://www.randygage.com/products/selfdevelop.html ©
