The Secret of ‘The Secret’

Well since I’m attacking sacred cows like organized religion, I might as well go after another big one these days: “The Secret”

Now don’t get me wrong, I actually like the movie and have a lot of friends appearing in it. A lot of people are looking for it to guide them how to manifest their prosperity. Unfortunately I would rate it as more like “manifestation lite.”

If I have one more person say to me something like, “I’ve watched ‘The Secret’ 27 times and my Bentley still hasn’t driven into my driveway,” I’m going to hurt them!

I believe the Law of Attraction is a real and tangible force or nature, based upon energy vibrations. But so are many other universal laws, such as the vacuum law of prosperity, the creativity law, the law of giving and receiving and others. And you have to be living in accord with all of these to manifest true prosperity in your life. Over the next few weeks we’ll explore these deeper.

Until then, remember that today is a fresh start for prosperity, and yesterday ended last night!

Dear Randy Gage,

I can just say I really really believe in “The Secret” but I and other who have not be successful to use this law on theor life should change themselves and their attitudes of life. I try to use it every day and I hope the result will appear in my life soon.

What Randy is saying is true. The Law of Attraction and the act of belief (positive expectation?) is just one aspect of creating prosperity.

People tend to think that the LOA is “always” going to manifest itself exactly the way they envision. Not true! Perhaps you may need more money and think it will take the form of advancing in a home-based business when in reality you may attract a promotion in the job that you really hate.

But the aim was making more money right? So you never know what those vibrations are going to attract and how they ultimately manifest themselves.

Remember the old adage…. “Be careful what you wish for!”

Randy, I have to agree. The LOA is just 1 of many universal laws. Practicing it without the others limits success. The Secret is a great starter course and will lead you to the others, but again it requires work and study and most folks are just looking for a quick fix. Randy, your books opened my mind, and I’ve been studying Catherine Ponders books for about a year now. Amazing results.:) The next great law should be Tithing, because miracles can occur without you even having to understand why! Good Luck~ Sarah

Can’t wait for your next blog!! This is something that I am extremely interested in hearing about. I watched the Secret and I do believe in the law of attraction but I know there is much for me to learn about it.

I don’t have the DVD “The Secret” but I do have the CD set. I love it and in no way do I expect wonderful things to just plop in my lap. I listen to it as I’m laying in bed. I’ll fall off to sleep with thoughts going on in my head how I can change my own thinking patterns. I can see and feel a difference about how I view my current situation and have been blessed with some amazing blessings (as far as I’m concerned) since I’ve been listening to the CD and trying to be conscience of thoughts I have about my love life, money, relationships with co-workers and different areas of my life. I bought a copy of the book “The Secret” along with Randy Gages five book set; one of them being “Accept your Abundance”. I really enjoy your books Randy.
