The Power of Sexual Energy

I think it’s funny that you are writing this blog right now. Such great timing….especially since I was rereading Napolean Hill’s chapter on the transmutation of sex this morning. N. Hill definitley put sex up there as one of the most powerful froms of energy to use for our success. If I remember correctly…he actually has it at no. 1 of 10. I think he and you are correct in making it know …that there is much to be said about sexual energy….especially as a power/force to help us to achieve.

I feel we often have issues acknowledging sexual energy because of judgement. It is fascinating to look beyond our own influences and learn what other countries and cultures think about sexuality. We are all human yet the range of attitudes is vast. The reality is the cultures make the rules not God.

Personally, my body tells me a lot of things including that I should be drinking some water, eating some food, getting some sleep and getting some. Well getting some sleep is more routine than getting some at times because we attach a whole bunch of other stuff to it.

I look forward to the discussion on remaining in control. This applies to all areas of your life.

I think being succesful, achieving our goals and feeling happy and grateful are all sexual transmutations, borderline orgasmic in themselves…

Absolutely, yes, Randy. Sexual energy is that vibrant vitality which awakens us each day. It’s our very life force. When it’s used consciously to uplift your life, to enlighten your day, then it is a very positive power within it. When it’s left to run wild, it’s a demon, enough to drive any man crrrrrr-azzzzzzzy.

I’m often asked how to contain that energy so that it expands consciousness rather than being denied. There’s a great exercise from Kundalini Yoga which is just meant for this. It’s called Frogs and it goes like this:

Come down with the heels together off the ground and on the balls of your feet. Have the knees out to the sides and the arms straight, with hands on the floor in front of you resting on your fingertips, the spine straight and the head on straight too, looking forward. Keep the hands on the floor and as you inhale bring the bum up towards the sky thus tipping your upper body and head down towards the floor. As you exhale return to the starting position. So it�s inhale and the bum comes up, exhale and the bum goes down and the head goes up.

Sexual energy is another expression of our Passion. When we are in love with ourselves and our lives then sex is a natural and fabulous part of it. Sexual energy can activate our creativity. It boosts our immune system and boosts our lifeforce power. Women think about it just as much as men believe me! And yes you can learn how to pull the energy up from your base/genital area right up the spine to energise all your chakras (energy centres).

If sexual thoughts start running rampant then there is something else going on that you should look at (escapism from what you don’t like in your life, avoidance, money issues etc).

Repression creates resistance, and what you resist will persist. Far better to try and work out what’s really going on.

Wake up each morning thinking you are a Gorgeous Goddess (or Gorgeous God) and have a fabulous day!

Why is the pharmacist lobby so powerful? Who makes most of the sales? Attractive young representatives of opposite sex visit the doctors! I don’t go to my doctor very often because I started to practice healthier lifestyle, still whenever I go, one of them “promotors of good health” is always there! The mission of people engaged in MLM is different, positive and humane, but the sexual energy is being used and it should be!

The key, stil is in transformation of this energy. Keep it purely sexual and sensual and you’ll get a “prospect” for one night, transform it into a simple positive joy of living and you’ll get a lifetime follower and business partner.

I find it very weird that u write on this topic too, yesterday for the first time I mentioned that I burned 300 calories during sexercise! By the way I am married and my wife and I enjoy each others sexual energy. On the other hand, when we are apart, I try to use that unused energy for connecting with new ideas, or business concepts, or even writing more into a book.

You nailed that thought Randy. But just to remark on this. Some people act on thoughts based on their fear of loss, anxious whether they will or won’t experience fantasies or things that they may never have. Obviously this reaction is not an action. It many times follows high achievers and progressive competitive natures not only with others but with self.
On the other hand there are those who are reclusive in thought and action and everything is played out in their minds and never in the open unless recklessly or when potentially damaging other people by involving their pain on others.
The healthy way this is all played out is usually among functional people who are well adapted to a lifestyle of giving and not always taking. A person who is enabled by their own energy, protected by their own positive empowerment, and given the gifts to succeed. We make our own bed….and we must lie or lie in it.

I agree Randy. Sexual thoughts and feelings are like any thought impulse. Neither good nor bad. They just ‘are’. Everything seems to be fine until human judgement gets in the way. This is good, this is bad, oh my gosh, I’m embarassed, blah blah blah. Life would flow so smoothly is our consciousness didn’t get in the way so frequently.

Sexual thoughts and feelings mean nothing in and of themselves. It’s what you do with them that counts. Do you waste this energy on non-productive, ego-driven practices (probably the most delicate way to say it ;) or do you channel the energy into something constructive?

As always, it’s on the indiviual.

I was just thinking about this yesterday myself! Weird eh? Twilight Zone music should be playing….

I remember reading about “Sexual Transmutation of Energy” in Napolean Hill’s book “Think and Grow Rich” and I remember thinking “What the hell does have to do with anything?”

I thought it was way off base. But after reading it again about 10 years later, I understood more about what he was talking about.

Sexual energy is one of the most strongest energies there is. If you can harness that energy and direct it into productive activity (such as building your financial empire) as opposed to letting it lead you into destructive activities such as promiscuous sex, drinking/drugging, etc, etc. you’ll have a very powerful force working for you and on your side.

If you don’t identify and recognize the power of sexual thought and more importantly channel that thought energy into something of value, it could be harmful or even worse, fatal.

Very interesting subject. To say the least.
