My Thanksgiving Wish for You

by Randy Gage

Thoughts held in mind produce in kind.  That’s worth holding in mind today, because it’s the Thanksgiving holiday here in the U.S.  This is a day we’ve set aside every year since the Pilgrims came over, to celebrate and give thanks for the blessings in our life.

And since we know that what we attract what we think about, we know that giving thanks produces yet more to be thankful about.

Yet holidays can be a sad time for many…

Every holiday I used to have to plan my festivities around my calling schedule, leaving time to give greetings to my loved ones.  Sadly that has become less an issue.  As the years have drifted by, I no longer have a grandmother or grandfather left to call, and the number of other relatives is shrinking.  I recently found out my father is dead.  Although I never met him, it was a very weird, melancholy feeling to learn this news.

But Thanksgiving is not a day to focus on what we don’t have.  (And of course, no day really is.)  It’s a day to be grateful for what we have…

So we can take a moment and remember those that are no longer with us.  But instead of sadness for the loss, let’s do it with gratitude for the time we had.  Let us remember the magic, and honor them by living today, bold, out loud, and in living color.

I’ve buried too many people dear to me, way too early.  As probably have you.  So we owe it to them to live, really live, each and every day.

So I hope you’ll choose to celebrate this holiday (whether it’s Thanksgiving where you live, or simply another amazing Thursday) as the day it and every day was meant to be:  with wonder and gratitude.

I am grateful for my family and friends, for softball and Sci-Fi, balmy breezes and Jimmy Buffet, sunrises and storytelling, kittens and Krispy Kreme, mangos and muscle cars, Puccini and Pink, tolerance and time.  I’m grateful for long walks on the beach, long drives in the car, and long distance relationships.

I am grateful that those who serve my country protecting liberty, and are spending their holiday in harm’s way, away from their loved ones.  Know you are appreciated and loved.

Today, my heart is filled with peace, my soul with comfort, and my life with abundance.  And I’m very grateful for YOU.  The members of this community that meet each day, knowing that iron sharpens iron, as we mastermind together on the path of prosperity.

I get to spend a little bit of each day with you, as we share this journey of challenge, adventure and growth.  Each day we get an opportunity to grow into greater expression of our divine nature.  Ain’t it great!

WOW! Very unforgetable piece of message.May you too live every minute of the day MINDFULLY and thank you for your sharing.

Благодарю, тебя Рэнди, за то что ты есть и то что ты делаешь!

I just read this several weeks after it was sent to me, but I just had to comment. This really hits home... Living life to it's fullest to honor our dearly departed makes so much sense... I will not be deleting the link to this blog... Thanks Randy, You're still my hero!

Practicing gratitude is fun to do. Every night, before I go to sleep, I write down 10 things I'm grateful about that day. It is fun, because I see that I'm more aware about the beautiful things in life during the day. It makse me more conscious.

Thank you for this. It has helped me realize a lot.

Randy,

For me each day is a day to give thanks for, not one day of the year. I worked on Thanksgiving day and actually celebrated the day after as a day of feasting. But every day I count my blessings and all those who come into my life to give it richness and meaning. Thank you Randy for being one of those people.

Beautiful!
I am grateful for my cyber friends / mentors / sages!
who add to my life daily.
You are among those!
Blessings!

I am thankful to all of the people on this prosperity blog. I am thankful to all of my family, friends and strangers who have contributed to my self-development. I thankful to all of my Karate opponents and friends. I thankful that I live in America where I can pursue happiness. Randy I am thankful to you for creating midas mentality. I listen to and do the exercises, DVD the whole course 3 times per year.

Dear Randy

Better late than never. Reading your Thanksgiving message Friday on my way through Sweeden to the place I am taught yoga. Thanks for sharing. Being connected with you keeps me vibrating at a higher level. Thanks for your profound answers. My listening for myself has grown to be a leader. Your blog is the playground that caused it. My stands in the world impacts many. Thanks.

Thanks for this, Randy - you're my "bruvver from another muvver" :-)

Dear Randy,

It's a pleasure to read your blog posts and today I am not just thankful to you but Dr. Joe Vitale as well because it was his audio course 'Attract A New Car' where I heard him interviewing you in an awesome conversation about prosperity and abundance.

When I heard you, something resonated, I don't know what? But that 'something' lead me to visit your site and subscribing to your blog. I really wait for an email notifying about your new blog post.

I have also read your 'Accept Your Abundance' e book' and it has deeply changed the way I think about prosperity and abundance.

I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU for all your efforts !!

God bless you Randy!!!

randy,
I have been absent from the discussion lately but you and the lifesaving thoughts that you share are never far from my mind. I am thankful for the opportunity to grow and serve with you and wish you many blessings now and in the days to come. I look forward to a bright future with you in it. Kathleen

Hey Randy and all those in the US - hope you have a wonderfully bountiful and joyous time this Thanks Giving! I'm greatful for the warm weather we're having at the moment and the great surf and blue skies! Love and blessings to all - Poppy in Oz...

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I'm glad that we have kept Thanksgiving since way back when. Even if it is just for a day, people are kinder and filled with a more empathetic attitude than the norm. If this day does only one thing but help us to stop and think of gratitude, then it is worth all the commercialism and hype. God bless you all.

I always find it so very meaningful to send special heartfelt messages on this holiday. I always scan my mind for the people in the past year that exemplify good person status and make sure they know I care. My daughter showed me a text from a special friend of hers. I got a couple my self thtat made me feel special. Thanks Randy for caring for us, we too care for you.

Thanks for this message....It reminds me that part of success is to be in a state of gratitude.

Randy thank you so much for your wisdom. I recently lost my brother in law after his yr and a half battle with cancer.....and I remember talking with you about it and how much clearer I became about what to expect. You are a dear person to so many of us and we are all so blessed that you take your precious time to share with us. I am thankful for so much in my life and you RG are right at the top of the list !! Happy Thanksgiving to you.
You inspire me !!!

Just as I finished reading this post, and began to read the many great comments and feedback, my phone rang. It was my best friend, informing me that her 33yo daughter has been discovered dead in her home, cause yet unknown. Now, more than ever, is a time to draw strength and be ever thankful for what we DO have.

Thanks Randy.

-Greg

So sorry to hear that. We have to live every day.

Recentely joined the Blog and what impacted me was that I found a lot of good critical thinking...something to not just stay still but to give some thought. I want to thank All the good people and leaders of the world that are shaping this planet to be the legacy we leave for the next generations. I Thank the challenges and over all the leason learned in every single one of them for I wouln't be stronger If I had not had bad days. Love the people that I Have found in the way and how their challenges inspire me.

Great heartfelt message! You are truly a diamond to the world. Happy Thanksgiving!

Randy,

Today you spoke directly to me.

The generation that raised me is gone (I never met my father either). The generation I am to raise is not yet born. I am alone for a moment of years here in my 30's, and Thanksgiving always begins with tearful shuffling through old pictures before I spruce myself up, buy a bottle of wine (since I can't cook) and join someone else's feast (as I have always been blessed with great friends).

Checking e-mail quickly, I found your words at the perfect moment. They went deeper than I knew words could go. They have tripped a switch of purpose, and gratitude I feel crescendo with each passing moment. An excitement, and a peace.

I will thank you the best way I know how, which is by putting your words into action.

God bless you.

I want to mention regarding the above post; I don't just write about hurtful lessons. I write about everything I am grateful for like running water, food, clothes, a home (out of the elements) and other stuff too.
Ellen

Thanks Randy,
Although I have a gratitude list I write in EVERY day, it is refreshing to know that others recognize the importance of being thankful. I write things that have hurt me to the core because I am grateful for the lesson; it isn't always clear at the moment what the lesson is but when you are thankful for it, it will become clear.

Ellen

Have no words, everything is already said here, I deeply moved, but I must repeat, thank God you're Randy, normal, despite the wealth, and God bless you and the all, I wish you well and I'm with you and the all too in my mind.

A wise man once said: If you think, you will thank. Happy Thanksgiving, USA. For those of us in Nigeria is simply another Terrific Thursday!

Well then ... Happy Thursday, Victor! =)

Thank you for a very profound, uplifting message of gratitude on this, our national day of Thanksgiving.

Thank You Randy Gage!
You are the best friend I ever had, no one else ever made me realize that you can be spiritual and prosperous at the same time - in fact quit the opposite (sentenses from my early childhood).
I wish for you everything that is good in the world.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Lene

Hi Randy:

Happy Thanksgiving, Randy! If they are in your life, love them.

Giving thanks to you, an original and critical thinker. And for being one of the few genuinely interested in helping others.

~namaste~

for me it's the best word to post since I feel it incompasses all my gratitute today

I`m thankful for many of the "problems" im having. They are shaping me, helping me to learn and grow, and they are making me stronger.

They will be overcome just as I have overcome past ones.

They are all part of this glorious adventure called life.

Thankyou Randy

Hey Randy

I am grateful for you inspiring me.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving Randy.
I'm grateful for you and the work you do.
Thank you for helping me raise my prosperity consciousness. :)

And as you know Randy..we're ALL grateful for you insights, guidance and support for all of us to live a happy, healthy and abundant Life. So here's to giving thanks for Who You Are!

Happy Thanksgiving to all! It's great to be alive and this amazing Journey called Life!

I’m very grateful for having you Randy, your books, your seminars, your posts & tweets! Not only for these, but for these too...
Thank you very much!

So it's not very often that one comes across a master (and yes, I think you've earned that distinction) who is not only wise, but makes himself accessible to those who would benefit from his knowledge and experience the way that you do, Randy.

You may live in a 'palace', but you walk among both people who have made the prosperity shift, and those who are still working on it - and you treat all of them equally, with Love and Respect ... and you continue to give of yourself graciously.

What it so impactful to me personally is that you choose to be more than just some untouchable picture of a guy on a book or a guru who gives seminars to those who have VIP passes - you actively reach out and meet people one at a time, on their own level - and you just keep loving them right on up to the top. That's something worth thanking you for.

I got some Tough Love from you to start off this past year ... =) ... and I wouldn't be moving in the direction I am now if you had just told me what I WANTED to hear instead of what I NEEDED to hear. Yours were the necessary words I absolutely didn't have access to anywhere else.

So this year, I am so very thankful that I brought your wisdom and gracious heart into my life - and that you are REAL - have a smile, a voice, a sense of humor and that you show up to play with all of us every day.

I hope that today on Thanksgiving, you allow yourself a little time to just soak in how much you mean to so many that you touch throughout the year. You are so blessed ... and you bless multitudes - and that is the perfect, honest model of Prosperity in action.

Big Hug,

K

nice and worm , thanks....
