Getting Wiser

Some things are so simple that they get overlooked. What Jim Rohn calls “a blinding flash of the obvious.” I’d like to talk about one today:
Getting wiser.
Sounds simple enough right? No one would argue with that. But how many people actually do something every day, so they are a little wiser by the end of it? Life is too short and too complex to stay in neutral. To develop consciousness and reach enlightenment, we must nurture wisdom. And that means making sure we learn, each and every day.
So how are you doing on that?

Well reading your blog is a good start, LOL.
Beyond that I include many sources for enlightenment whether spiritual or psychological.. Example: Am reading “The Color Code” right now to learn about personality types so I can improve my interactions and relationships. I also really like Alan Cohen’s works, along with many others.

I read for 30 min every day from a Personal Development book, generally in my field of work. I then try to take something from thet reading and apply throughout the day. This one habit has made an incredible difference in my life.
Randy, I like that you said “getting wiser”, not “getting smarter”. When you learn a new fact, you’re smarter… but not necessarily wiser. But when you learn something about yourself, for example, you’re not necessarily any smarter, but you’re probably a bit wiser.
Smarter is good, but wiser is better.

Ever since I started my personal growth, I feed my “healthy curiousity” by reading every working day, by visiting seminars and listening to the cds whein I have to drive long distances and while I amuse myself by discovering “new stuff” I grow… it’s that simple. Putting it to practise is easy because I’m so lucky (truly, God loves me so much!) that the same information (if it is the one, important for my growth) always comes to me within a short period of time from at least 2, but mostly 3 and more sources. So I learn and get into it effortlessly.

I love this one of “Getting Wiser”… I love to experience those suggestion I feel comfortable and I agree with, so as to have a real feeling of what the suggestor might mean.
I spent every single day sometime in contact with new knowledge, new ways of applying some knowledge on Personal Development, new books on the same topics, new topics…
Once I do what a mentor I chosed says we should do, I decide which part of the whole point It’s the most useful for me… and reflect on the rest so as to keep searching and evolving…

training about consciousness and subconscious mind and keep conscious mind along with subconscious mind result in prosperity, and we have to work on them in order for reaching prosperity and success. in the other side we have to pray for the others’ prosperity, then our God confirm their prosperity and our prosperity.
